After saying a few more words, Samuel saw that he was not getting through to them; everyone seemed drunk, even Kim, who was egging them from behind. He decided to end his call; it would be better to talk to them when they were sober.
As soon as he put his smartphone aside, he received another call; he thought it was Soo-jin again, but it was a different number. He didn't recognize the number but decided to pick it up because he didn't give his private cell number to strangers.
" Hello?"
" Hello, Mr Samuel? This is Lucie from Paris."
" Ah, yes, Lucie, did the deal go through already?" Samuel had instructed her to find a castle to buy. It was something that Elise said in passing. Samuel was not sure if she ever remembered about it, but that would be a good surprise for her.
" Yes, sir. I have been calling to ask you what to do next? It needs some renovations, and many people were working for the previous owner, like a butler and other staff. I called to let you know if you want to retain them."
" Yes, if they are good at their job, I don't mind increasing their salaries too."
" I am sure they will be happy to hear about it. What do you want to do about renovations?"

" I am not sure, but it will be in millions because of the size of the property. If you want to save money-"
" No, you misunderstood my intentions. I don't want you to cut corners; just contact Abigail if you need more funds. She will tally everything and report it to me after everything is finished. How long will it take to make the castle presentable?" He asked.
" It will at least take a few months. As I have been told, these stone structures are a lot of trouble to redo, but it is in an okay state if you want to stay here. The back garden and surrounding land haven't been looked after because the viscount already gave up on the property, but the kitchen and the main castle are in good condition."
" I see. You did well; I will ask Abigail to increase your commission. Just make sure to take care of the guest in the future."
" Thank you, sir. Are you coming to visit?" Lucie was elated. The deal cost more than a hundred million dollars. Her compensation was insane already, but she was going to get more? It was the best pay for a few week's work!
" Not now, but I might send my parents, so you must care for them. It's not certain, but I just want you to be ready."
" I will do my best!"
They hashed out a few more details before Samuel cut the call. He felt better receiving a piece of good news for a change. He fiddled with his phone and suddenly got an idea: wasn't he being too passive for the current situation with Grace Generation.
Couldn't he do a preemptive strike to make his presence known? He knew that he couldn't come out as the person who performed with them, but he could do a great deal of damage to the main perpetrator, SK Corporation.
He thought for a few minutes and came up with a perfect solution. Why doesn't he use his recent connection? But first, he needs to know if they have any influence in South Korea. He searched for the specific number and dialed the number.

Delphina Arjo had been in a good mood these days. She was hesitant at first to ally with Samuel because the premise of collaboration was her taking control of the chairman's seat. At the same time, Samuel would get a few shares in her family's parent corporation, LVHM.

She composed herself and picked up the call, " Hello." She said confidently.
" Hey, I need your help with something, but I will warn you beforehand that you could lose some money over it. Are you up for it?"
" That depends. What do you need? You know I don't have much funds these days."
" It's to do with a damsel in distress. You can help a friend, right? We are partners!"
Delphina was stumped; it's about a girl? Did he want more limited-edition luxury items? But as far as she knew, she had already delivered most of the new stuff to Paige and Maia. Did he already get another one? Just how much energy did he have?
" No! I know we are partners, but you can't come running to me for merchandise whenever you have to impress someone! I am not your bank; just pay for it in advance, and I will see what I can do!"
Samuel was embarrassed hearing her accusation of something he didn't even do! Just how low do these girls think of him?
" It's not like that; it has to do with your business with a particular company. I asked if you would pull out your sponsorship to pressure them on my behalf." He clarified himself immediately.
