Chapter 507 Drinking Fiasco?-2

After sending Darren and Emma away, Samuel got into Dhia's latest Ford Fiesta car. It looked basic but had an upgraded interior and peripherals, which seemed to cost half the car's price. Everyone was driving one these days, but Samuel never expected a princess to ride in one of these.

" I know what you are thinking, but I don't have a choice. I don't get much expenses from my parents, and with pressure from my studies, I don't have time to work too. Hence, my choice." She caught him glancing at the car and went ahead to explain.

" It's fine, I am not judging you. You are better than the princess that I know, way better!" He chuckled.

They entered the car and drove out of the congested club parking spot; the car was like an odd one out inside the nest of supercars. People were staring at them, which didn't make things easier. Samuel skillfully hurried out of the parking lot and drove toward her home.

It was half an hour's drive in the expensive neighbourhood up north. Samuel was surprised, but she explained that she used all her expenses on rent. Samuel honestly questioned her priorities; if she was conscious about money, why was she in the club?

" Isn't it the best place to wind down? You can't expect me to bury myself in books all day, right?" He thought her answers were justified.

" Oh, one more thing. Can we stop at a liquor store?" She added.

" You are still thirsty? I thought you had enough?" Samuel was baffled by her request.

" We have to buy it as a bribe, or else it would be impossible to... you will know when we reach my home." She didn't go into details, but Samuel obliged. He was a bit sympathetic listening to her story; maybe she needed some at home. From the looks of it, she was quite a drinker, even beating Darren and Emma.

They stopped at one of the liquor stores, but the things she bought were all strong liquor. Some expensive wine, gin and tonic that Samuel had never heard of before. He said nothing, but when she saw his puzzled expression, she elaborated," You will see how effective these are."

" Alright." But when he proceeded to pay, she refused by saying it was her time to pay, which made even less sense. Ultimately, Samuel didn't ask her about it as they continued their journey.

" You didn't drink anything; maybe you could stay and drink with me for a while?" She asked.

" I don't think that's appropriate." Samuel didn't know why she was asking him that, but he didn't see any ill intentions in her eyes.

" Is something on your mind? It's better to talk than to hold everything in." She added.

" Nothing in particular-"

" I saw you with Avery. Are you worried about that?"

" You saw that." To his question, she nodded her head. It was when she followed him to the restroom and saw him dragging her inside the men's room.

" To tell you the truth, I am somewhat worried. I hope she could drag herself out of it; in my experience, it always ends up bloody when you know something you aren't supposed to."

" It was a good thing. When I was leaving, I could see she had a smile on her face. I don't know if she saw me, but I don't think she is a bad person." Others might hold a grudge, but for Dhia, it was already over when Clark slapped her. She felt pity for her, but she was powerless to do anything; it was commendable of Samuel to step in.

" That's great; I hope she could learn from her mistakes."

" That's why don't worry about others! You should get drunk tonight! Like truly drunk, not like this when I can't even see you shaking!" She was surprised by Samuel's alcohol intake. It's not like he didn't drink, but with his abilities, he could not get drunk unless he actively disabled it.

" I have to drive home too, so I can't."

" Come on, it will be fun! My building has plenty of free rooms; you could bunk up in one. Besides, you must take a cab back home; it would be a shame if someone recognized you, right?" She again made some impressive points.

Samuel was impressed; she could become an excellent politician if she wanted. He thought for a few seconds, and it didn't hurt to drown himself in alcohol occasionally. He could count the number of times he got drunk in one hand!

He refused to do it because of the incident a few months back with the girls. He vowed to never lose himself and hurt others because of it, but with Dhia, he could tell she didn't look at him like that.

It's not like she was not a beauty, but Samuel, too, found her more in line with someone like Hannah than Adele. Why shouldn't he enjoy himself when he had such a bad day today?

" Okay, let's get hammered tonight!" He declared. Dhia also cheered as they merrily went toward her residence, not knowing the fate that would befall Samuel!

...

...

...

Samuel opened his groggy eyes the following day to see an unfamiliar ceiling above his head. He tried to move his body, but something was restricting his movements. He looked down to see red, flowy hair covering his chest, but what was astounding was the heat on top of his abdomen.

He tried to move his hands, but it was tied with his whole body.

" Fuck!" He looked as if his body was tied to the unknown girl lying on his body with several sheets. They were like a burrito sandwich with their bodies as the fillings and the sheets acting as bread!

" What the hell happened?" He murmured as he tried to remember what sort of fiasco he was involved in yesterday night. But first, he checked below to remember the woman's identity; she was not Dhia, which was a relief, but who was she? And how did they get into such a compromising situation?
