A few hours before the conclusion of the fight, Samuel was rushing toward the orphanage with Kayla to see Mayra. Instead of using their own car, he was inside with the team leader of the ghost soldier, who was driving a modified Toyota Camiri, which was humming like crazy because of the speed.
" Young master, I am sorry. It was an emergency, or else I wouldn't have disturbed you." He was like an average person; even the clothes were regular, but it couldn't hide his toned and lean body, which was much like Samuel's at first glance.
" It's fine. Is everyone fine there?" Samuel still didn't know the complete picture. He only heard kidnap and Elise and rushed out the door dragging Kayla, who he knew would make a fuss if he didn't take her. Mayra was there, too, so it was evident she would be worried when she later found out about it.
" What happened? Who is he? Why are we breaking all the traffic rules?" She didn't know anything and was only worried they would be in a high-speed car chase if they continued brazenly violating the law.
" Calm down..it's something happened to Elise." He didn't tell her outright, but his seriousness told everything she needed to know.
" TELL ME EVERYTHING!" She yelled and grabbed the man in the driver's seat. Due to speed, he narrowly avoided a collision, but his expressions were just the same. There was no panic in his face, which showed his solidarity.
" Miss Kayla, I know you are worried about Miss Mayra, but I assure you she is out of danger. She is incapacitated due to some circumstances, but my men have already looked at her vital. There is no injury." He knew everything about them from following Samuel twenty-four-seven; his job was determining that people with Samuel were not a threat to his life.
" Stop! Don't pull him too much; we still have to reach them. You getting angry would only delay our journey!" Samuel pulled her back to her seat. It was his first time learning about the current situation, too; he wanted to know the whole story to save Elise.
Kayla let go hesitantly, but she was still worried. She didn't know who or what was going on, but seeing Samuel trust him so much, she decided to do it too. That's when she realizes that initially, Samuel mentioned Elise's name instead of Mayra.
" Wait, Elise-"
" Someone kidnapped Elise." He said in a weak voice. He knew she had already been through enough, and now someone was messing with Elise again? He resolved to take care of her the minute he learned about her circumstances; it made him angry that he was not out there with her today!
" What?"
" Did we have the location of who took her?" Samuel ignored her to let her process everything. He was more about what would happen to Elise for the time being.
" We have a general location, but the enemy is a little tricky this time. They passed our barricade, and we got a close fix on them. They are also avoiding cameras purposely; they have military-grade support." He was not happy, but he told the truth.
He had plenty of experience working under the Rothschild family and had been in every skirmish imaginable. But even then, they could identify the enemies this time, no matter how much they tried.
" Even ghosts couldn't find her?" He thought for a second and collected his mind.
First, he knew the ghost soldiers were highly skilled; he had often trained with them since childhood. He was confident the world didn't know their physical capabilities like he did. In recent years, he even guided them, so it is hard to imagine the enemies had the upper hand in this regard.
Secondly, he knew they were kitted with the best gear in the world. It was a quality security surveillance system, so his saying they were outmatched in this category meant it was some hidden force he was unaware of. He didn't have any top hackers, but with their hardware, it would not be that hard to catch a few thieves?
Lastly, he was unsure what they wanted with a little girl like Elise. She was a rescued child, and her background was obscure, but that didn't warrant such an aggressive response. It would only mean that they were not friendly, but not doing anything to other people also puzzled him. It's like they were trying to keep a low profile-
" Fuck! It must be them!" Samuel exclaimed. The hidden force behind the human trafficking case in LA, it seemed they had come out of the shadows!
" What? Them?" Kayla asked.
" You mean six crowns, sir? But why would they target Elise?" the man also asked. He immediately understood what Samuel was talking about.
" Six crowns?"
" It's something we came up with looking at their insignia. Why do you think they are involved, sir?" He asked again.
Samuel said few things about his theory as they were constantly hurling toward the outskirts of Paris. Kayla also learned a lot from listening to him. She was shocked to hear such things happened when Samuel was in the US. What surprised her was that he was talking about some hidden power that even Rothschild was unaware of? She was amazed when she learned that Samuel was the famous child actor she liked.
" But, sir, that doesn't explain how Miss Elise got involved."
" You are right; it's a little farfetched. It's just that they had been waning on my mind lately; it might be someone entirely else." He accepted that his theory was too outrageous to be true.
" Maybe Elise knows something?" Kayla spoke suddenly.
" Hmm?"
" If this organization you speak of is truly global, they could easily discover that Elise was mute until recently, right? Maybe they are afraid she would spill some secret?" She came out with another conspiracy theory, which strangely fit the timeline.
Both men were dumbfounded, but there was nothing they could say to retort her conjecture!
