Like that, they left Samuel alone and snatched up Elise, who came running toward him. She didn't understand what was happening, but seeing strange girls messing with her cheeks while speaking unfamiliar language scared her.
" Hey! Cut it out! Don't you see she is frightened?" Mi Sun smacked Soo-jin's head, who was currently holding Elise in her arms. As her grip loosened, Elise took the chance to wiggle out of her hands and immediately hid behind Samuel, looking resentfully at them.
"This is where you were; no wonder you don't even pick up your phone." Kayla was smiling on the surface but oozed madness from her eyes.
" Ah, oh, I was a little busy?" Samuel chuckled, but it only made matters worse.
" Yeah, I can clearly see that, you gave us quite a good 'surprise'."
" Wait, what?" Samuel saw her looking at other girls, and it seemed she misunderstood. He wanted to clarify, but suddenly, Yoona and Red came and blocked their way.
" Who are you? Fan meeting is over; don't bother our Junior." Yoona was direct, but she correctly explained herself with an accent-heavy tone.
" She is right, how do you even get past the guards? Don't you know it's a breach of privacy?" Mi Sun also added.
" You, are you throwing the law at me?" Kayla was visibly angry. It's not she broke in or anything; they were let in on the order of Jean, but others didn't know that.
" Kayla stop!"
" You saw them too right!? They were fawning over him like-"
" Kayla!" Mayra stopped her before she said anything vulgar. Whatever their grievances were, it was not good to fight in public; moreover, they were not simple girls. When Samuel told her he was going to the concert, she did a little research and found out they were famous, what more evidence would she need when she saw a sea of people outside chanting their names!
" State your intentions if you have something to discuss with our Sami. You have to go through us first!" Mi Sun said seriously. Now that Samuel had helped them, she had to protect him from such people. Apparently, she thought they were rabid fans that they often encountered during their tours.
It was not uncommon for girls to throw themselves after the show, trying to make some connection to get famous. Looking at Mayra and Kayla, they were not bad-looking, but still, it was too much to get ahead in their career through such a method.

Seeing the simple argument escalating, Samuel relied on Elise to calm them down. It was not good that other people were starting to gather after hearing the commotion. He had an idea to end it once and for all.
He whispered a few words in Elise's ears. At first, she was hesitant, but he assured her he would rescue her if something went wrong; she clenched her fist and followed his orders.
" What did you say!?"
Suddenly, a little girl stood between them, spreading her arms; her frightened expression immediately caught both parties' eyes. " Don't fight! Sami says fighting is bad!!"
" Oh my god! Are they doing some skit?"
" Probably, who would pick a fight with Grace Generation so openly."
" But isn't this the men's area?"
" I can't hear what they are saying properly but I love to see them 'fight'. Those two girls are not bad looking either."
" Hey- why are you pushing me? Alright, alright.."
Onlookers were immediately contained, but not before they were managed to take a few pictures. It would soon be posted on social media, leading to another rabbit chase to find out what the incident was all about. Especially the thing about them causing a scene in front of the men's resting room!
But for now, Elise's intervention immediately cooled their head, and it was Samuel's cue to call them inside. Guessing his intentions, Mayra closed the door to give everyone privacy.

" So you are living with them because you don't have a house in the city?" Mi-sun was still suspicious.
" What's more impressive is that they are married? I never would have guessed; you make a great couple." Yoona gave them their blessing, not thinking much about it.
" Right, they both look like models. I never would have guessed they were 'normal' people." Soo-jin put up a friendly smile, but she was still hostile, knowing their relationship.
" What about the little girls then, you said her name was Elise?" Ningning asked.
" Oh, she is an orphan that is under Mayra's non-profit foundation. They are thinking about adopting her due to her special circumstances. You could probably tell she doesn't like talking to strangers." Elise sneaked a glance when she felt they were talking about her.
They were still talking in Korean, so the rest were still unaware of what they were discussing; Kayla was bummed out by how they were ignoring their presence while giving her knowing looks.
" These bitches are definitely up to something." She thought as she looked at them, chatting happily.
" Now, now, we are here as guest. We are disturbing them so why don't you try to act more friendly?" Mayra came and consoled her.
" Oh, Kayla Mayra, I would like to introduce them to you too." Samuel turned and did so; he clearly said they were his family, which elevated Kayla's irritated mood.
" That's right, I am Mayra. We are Sami's family!" Mayra hugged his arms and did a complete one-eighty from what she had said. Her aggressiveness didn't get past others.
" Family you say?"
" Yes, you got any problem with that!" Kayla, too, joined in and proclaimed beside her wife. It was getting very suspicious; Samuel was also too comfortable with them. Even the little girl in his arms was looking at them smugly; hadn't he only been with them for a few days? And wasn't she afflicted with psychological issues?
" Sami, how about becoming an idol?" Mi Sun said after a lot of consideration.
" That's a great idea! I am sure you can become a lot more famous than us. I am sure you can surpass every idol that ever lived!" Soo-jin said with admiration. She was not bluffing when she said it; if he showed his face correctly and sang with his heavenly voice, nothing was impossible for him knowing his prowess!
" There are plenty of agencies out there. You will make good money too!" Yoona also added.
But they didn't understand why Red suggested him to become an idol. She seemed to misunderstand his circumstances, him being connected to a famous person like Emma Watson and hanging out in other's homes; she thought he was doing something shady.
" I will think about it." Samuel didn't outright reject them, which would have hurt their feelings.
" Don't you understand! You don't have to live like this! You can have your own house and no longer have to live like a househusband!" Mi-sun exclaimed! It stunned everyone, even Samuel.
" Eh?"
" You are heading home right? We are coming too."
" We are? What about Kim Bo-mi?"
" We have some days off right? I am sure by the things they said, they have plenty of rooms!"
" Wait! I haven't agreed to anything. Why are you being so persistent?" Samuel was perplexed. They were clearly treating him like a kid! Even before they were messing around without a care in the world, did he resemble a kid that much?
" What's happening? Why are they suddenly looking at us like that?" Mayra also sensed the change.
" That's obvious; let them wallow in their misery and get the hell out of here. Elise is dozing off again, I also have to go to station early morning. Sami?" Kayla said to her. They were here to take Samuel home; there was no point in delaying further.
" They said they want to come with us?"
" What? Why?"
" We are free for a few days; it's a great opportunity to tour the city. I was hoping Sami could show us around. You don't have any problem with that, do you?" Mi-sun asked. She vowed to learn their secret, and what's the best way to do that then to stick with Samuel for a couple of days? Since he helped them, she wanted to get him off their clutches once and for all!
" He doesn't know anything; it has only been a week since he came here. How can you expect him to help you?" Mayra asked. It's not like she didn't like to help but their intentions were unclear.
" That's perfect, we can tour together. It will be good to repay him somehow, knowing we couldn't pay him." Mi-sun pressed on.
" Isn't that too much? You are only making him more uncomfortable." Kayla exclaimed. She didn't want these people near him.
" What? Do you have something to hide? Sami, am I asking too much?" Faced with her questioning, it was excessive, but he had no reason to decline their request. It was troublesome but an excellent way to harbor a few more connections before he visited Korea.
In the end, Mayra accepted despite Kayla's protest. They have several guest rooms, so housing them would not be a problem. It was already midnight when they reached home.
