News of Samuel's arrest was spreading like wildfire; those who knew his real identity sighed when they saw such a brazen display of disrespect. No facts have been leaked yet, but ordinary people started speculating heavily, worsening the situation.
Due to the time difference, the Western world was still unaware of his arrest, but London was different. Samuel's family moved in and started investigating, but when they found out he already had a contingency plan, his father refrained from interfering.
Each of the Rothschild family members knew what he was capable of, and if they intervened prematurely, it could ruin his plan. His father contacted Arthur and Samuel's team to ask about it, but they were in the dark.
It was Abigail who later told them it was going according to her and Samuel's plan, and there was nothing to worry about. She knew how her boss operated; his signature style was keeping everyone in the dark and acting alone.
Although his immediate family members were informed, no one said anything to others. Adele and Iblis, along with Hannah and her family, made several calls to him, and getting no answers, they contacted Laura.
From then, Laura became the beacon that kept receiving calls from everyone worried about her son's safety. She even received a few calls from the Japanese Imperial family asking about it. Thus, her morning was occupied as a customer service employee, constantly ensuring everyone that their product was safe!
She realized how famous her son was as most of the calls were from girls. She still hadn't received calls from the States but knew it was coming soon, but what she was angry about was why Samuel didn't call her first!
Samuel didn't know, but while teaching a small lesson to Jake, he had to endure hours of scolding when he eventually returned home. It would add up more if he counted Eleanor, his grandmother, who was sleeping right now!
Meanwhile, in France, Mayra also got wind of Samuel's arrest. She watched the news and searched for Elise, but she was nowhere to be seen. She was worried about Samuel, but seeing the person who took him was Kayla, she was assured he would not be mistreated. The problem was Elise, who likely was anxious about strangers taking care of her.
She haphazardly informed her secretary that she was going out and told her to oversee everything. Most of the critical meeting was over, and she canceled the rest of them and quickly drove toward the police station.

" So you are admitting that you hit Mr Jake?" Lucas and Kayla were present inside the interrogation room, asking him questions.
" It was only a light tap. I did it because he was harassing an employee. Also, it was self-defense." Samuel added it casually.
" Do you even know he was rushed to the hospital? And what are you talking about, self-defense? Do you have any proof?" Lucas said harshly. He was already pressured from above to close the case as soon as possible; he didn't have time to deal with an arrogant punk like him!
" Proof? I don't have any, but if you just-"
" Then you are bullshiting! With the degree of injury, you can look at attempted murder!" He slammed the desk, trying to make Samuel nervous, but he only made him smile wider in return.
" Murder? I barely grazed him." Samuel chuckled.
" You- Do you think it's funny? Huh!" Lucas was furious hearing his playful replies.
" I mean, how can it not be? You are trying so hard to turn shit into a diamond; it fucking hilarious! Are they paying you that much?" Samuel covered his mouth, giggling at his reactions.
" You little shit."
" Chief, calm down!" Kayla tried to hold him down, fearing he would attack Samuel. She didn't know what Samuel was trying to achieve by pissing him off, but whatever it was, it was not working.
Meanwhile, a man in his early fifties hurriedly entered the station, drenched in sweat, looking around and trying to find something.
" Is that?"
" Oh my god, why is he here?"
" Quickly go greet him!"
A few people who saw the man went and bowed to him, but the man completely ignored them.
" Where are they?" He said, catching his breath.
" Who, sir?"
" Your fucking Chief! Where did he take him?" They realize he is talking about Samuel, so one of them quickly leads him inside toward the interrogation area. Without even saying anything, the man lunged open the door and walked inside.
" S-sir, why are you here?" Lucas immediately stood up, looking at the familiar face with a shocked expression. Kayla simply stood up and saluted.
" Sir, Are you okay? I am terribly sorry for what happened to you." The man bowed full ninety degrees showing utmost respect while greeting Samuel. His face was pale from running over here, but he didn't care about it.
" Mr Boone? Long time no see. I am doing fine, but somehow, I have become an attempted murderer." Samuel casually said with his hand supporting his head. He sure was enjoying himself looking at changing face of Lucas, who didn't know what was happening.
" That's- You, what the fuck are you doing? Release him immediately!" Oliver Boone shouted. He was the current foreign minister of France, and when he saw Samuel's face in the news, he got here as soon as he could, fearing for worse.
" But sir-" Lucas tried to say something.
" Do you want to get me killed? President ordered it himself. Do you want to defy him?" Oliver piled on, and after hearing 'president,' Lucas had no choice and released him immediately. He was baffled at how an actor had so much influence but swallowed his curiosity while Oliver berated him.
It was all fun and games when he was in charge, but now he lamented what kind of problem he had gotten him into; Samuel stood up, looking smugly toward Kayla, who could only sigh.
She didn't know what was happening but felt a little pained seeing her Chief go through with it. Just as they were walking out, someone else entered the station. No other than Joshua's secretary was dragging a half-beaten Jake into the station.
They also took the back door to avoid reporters, but now that they were here, the shit was about to hit the fan completely!
