" Probably not." Samuel sighed.

" I am just saying that I would have shot him down if it wasn't someone like you." Enrique chuckled.

" That's understandable; I just don't know what else I can do to fix it."

" If you think you can fix sleeping with both of my daughters, you are dumber than I thought, but then again, I don't think it's entirely over for you."

" Does that mean you have a solution?"

" No, that's something for you kids to sort out. I am touching it with a ten-foot pole! You know how pissed my daughter was at me before meeting you. I can't jeopardize that." Enrique shrugged his arms.

Samuel was already involved with other girls when he met his daughter; although he was initially against it, he had seen how much his daughter cherished her relationship.

Now that this had happened, he was neither sad nor happy but relieved. It was bound to happen in the future. If they could sort it out, then it's okay. If not, there were many men out there.

They would not be his calibre, but he completely distanced himself from his daughter's love life after Felipe's case.

" Well, I will give her some time to think about it and not make excuses for my actions. It's entirely up to her, but I feel sorry for wedging a rift between Liliana and Isabella's relationship." Samuel was adamant to take some time apart from her.

" It's good that you know. If you are going to disappear, you must fix it; I don't care how."

" I will," Samuel reassured him.

" Sir, we are ready." A nurse came and informed them that the room was prepped.

They nodded and followed her inside; Marianna was lying on the bed with other medical personnel surrounding her, reviewing her charts. Of course, most of them were there because Samuel told them to, they were not going to do any operation, but it was essential to make it feel like they were about to do it.

" Mari, how are you feeling?" Enrique sat beside her holding her hand to comfort her.

" I am fine; everyone is very attentive." She replied with a smile.

" Everything will be over within an hour. Let me introduce you to the person in charge of this operation. Mr Seagate?" Samuel called, and a tall, middle-aged man came over. He was well-built for a doctor, but his round glasses made him appear a professional.

" Mr Rothschild, everything is as you instructed. We can begin any minute now." He shook both of their hands.

" Thank you, doctor, for doing this on such short notice." Enrique shook his hand with both of his and genuinely expressed his gratitude.

" Don't worry, sir; your wife is in good hands. I have studied her case and am ninety per cent sure I can bring back her eyesight. We also have a specialist in cosmetic surgery who will go over fixing some of her scars." He replied perfectly; Samuel had to say he was glad he chose these actors!

" Sami?" It was Enrique's first time hearing about this. For him, his wife's face was never hideous, but he had to acknowledge that the acidic liquid damaged her face.

It was a miracle that her face didn't melt during the attack and retained most of its features except the area around her eyes and a few scar tissues scattered over her face.

It was not very noticeable after all these years as Enrique managed to find some people to heal them, but he was glad for Samuel's attentiveness.

" Just leave it up to them. We should go now; I suggest you wait outside with your men while I settle some billing issues with the hospital."

" We can pay-"

" Nonsense, I already said I will handle everything. Now go!" Samuel forced him out of the room. Now it's show time!

Samuel nodded toward the only real doctors there to deliver anaesthesia to Marianna. Samuel stood by her and comforted her; soon, she was under the drug.

" Okay, everyone out! I should remind you again not to speak about anything that happened today. Your payment is already deposited in your specified account." Samuel ordered. He was not too worried about them because they didn't know anything.

At most, they could vouch that Samuel did something weird, but even for brilliant minds, Samuel's power was too far-fetched. He pulled the blinders and checked for any surveillance equipment in the room; one could never be too cautious.

After finding nothing, he returned to Marianna's side and activated his healing title. It's been a couple of years since he used it on others, but he practised diligently whenever he had free time. It was dozen times faster and more effective than when he first acquired it.

He focused by closing his eyes and directed the flow toward her face; his magic power flowed across her body, finding a few more ailments. After fixing them, he directed everything toward her face. He could feel her old wounds healing rapidly while simultaneously, her body produced the necessary compound to heal her eyes.

Samuel didn't know how much time had passed, but he opened his eyes and saw Marianna's glowing face. No, her whole body was glowing like she had de-aged half a dozen years.

His breath was a little faster, with a few sweat beads covering his forehead, but other than that, he was fine. He still remembers when he healed Iblis's mother Olivia's illness; he fainted right after performing it. He had unquestionably come a long way from that.

After resting for a few minutes and checking the time, I thought it was over one hour since he started it. He moved on to disguise what he had done.

He was done with the task by bandaging her eyes and a portion of her arms. The arm was supposedly from where he took out some tissues for plastic surgery. He couldn't explain everything, but he was sure no one would question it if he did a 'miraculous' job, not when Enrique would see the results!

After waiting a few more minutes, he called the 'actors' to do their job. They did a fantastic job with Enrique's follow-up question and provided some 'normal' tablets and strict instructions not to remove the bandages before the deadline.

Samuel also fueled the fire and told some bogus lies to solidify that point, and it worked splendidly. After another hour, Marianna was conscious enough to be discharged. She could feel that her body was much lighter than before; it was a completely different body.

She wanted to thank Samuel, but he was already gone citing some business problems. The reason he left early was to avoid any interactions that would lead him to Reyes's residence. His hunch was correct; Marianna planned to ask him to accompany her.

She sighed, thinking about it while Enrique bored the doctors with worries!
