Ashley quickly consulted her parents and signed a three-year contract on the spot! She didn't need to think about it; she picked up the pen and signed her name on the dotted lines!

What surprised her was that the company informed her she was chosen as the only new model for their upcoming seasonal promotional photos.

They also told her about her partner she would be filming with; it was not a secret as she had watched their press conference; the young man definitely had some notoriety. From the photos that she had seen, he was definitely handsome.

But they looked a bit unreal; how could someone look so perfect? Her flowy white hair, perfectly contoured face, not to mention being from a wealthy family, made him appear too perfect.

Having such a halo of blessing made him appear less mortal and more like an angel of God! She was curious about what type of person this fabled person was?

...

...

...

Today Ashley and her agent came to the studio early out of courtesy. They waited for instruction while humbly observing what type of arrangement entrailed them. The funny thing was the agent was more nervous about the ordeal and went above and beyond by bringing their own supplies like food and other necessities, which was utterly unnecessary.

Greeting any and all staff with a friendly smile, Ashley waited. She already had small lunch that was provided by the studio. They were baffled when they saw the young girl had brought her lunch.

Their job was to keep their models happy, so they had already arranged a high-quality meal. It was a public policy to their appreciation; Ashley accepted their kind gesture, but what she wanted to see the most had not appeared yet!

While she was thinking, the make-up artist constantly complimented Ashley for her delicate skin. She knew that she was different from the typical Hollywood blonde; her round face and large eyes were somewhat complimentary of being mixed, but she inherited most of her mother's side of things.

Due to her orthodox appearance, she has often felt low self-esteem since childhood. In addition, because of her father's work, she had to keep changing residences and rarely made long-time friends. Her father's job was how he met her mother, but constant environment fluctuation added to her inferior mentality.

It took a lot of work for her to gradually improve her life; the constant support of her parents made a huge difference, as they wholeheartedly agreed when she told them she wanted to pursue a career in the media industry.

Her thoughts ended abruptly when the dressing room door was opened, and a handsome young man walked in.

Those who had seen him for the first time were rooted to the floor; Ashley had imagined it, but seeing him in real life was ethereal. His aura was very different; it was not a secret that she admired him. Like a little fan whose eyes were heart-shaped, she was approached by him.

" Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Ashley. I have seen some of your works, especially the comedy movie, 'Crazy Summer'; your depiction of tough girl Jessica was excellent." Although Samuel was a little taken aback after seeing Ashley, he was all smiles upon meeting her.

" Really? I didn't expect that you saw that one, umm, Samuel, no, Mr Samuel. It was only a small indie project, and I only played a small role." She shyly said, obviously a little surprised to hear him mention it. It was hard to believe a person like him would know her discography.

" It's alright; I am probably younger, so you can call me Samuel or Sami for short, like my friends. I will do the same, alright?" Samuel shrugged and motioned Ashley to relax. He was meeting a future legend, and being on friendly terms with her was always a bonus.

"Of course, of course, there is no problem." she was a little surprised, but she didn't expect him to speak well, without the arrogance and irrationality of a typical second generation.

They sat down at their respective chair and talked a little; it was weird how they clicked instantly while discussing topics of interest and allowing the stylist to work on their appearance.

She passed him the biscuits as he chowed down on the delicious goodies flavoured with cranberries. Seeing him enjoy a simple snack with relish put a massive smile on her face.

" I have to tell you that when the old man told me that the one taking pictures with me was a big beauty, I didn't believe it initially. But after seeing you, I completely believe it. The old man didn't fool me!" Samuel complimented her. Others might not know, but he knew her plight, it was not empty words, but he felt it from his heart!

" Aahahaha, Mr George exalts me too much." She hurriedly said with awkward laughter. " Compared with those blue-eyed blondes, I am but an ugly duckling." She spoke her mind.

She looked in the mirror to compare herself to her imagination, and her mood turned slightly gloomy. As Samuel concluded, she didn't have much faith in herself, looking at her expression. Even though she was not in line with the trend, her efforts would pay off in the future. She just had to believe in herself till then!

" You are really something. If you are ugly, I fear for all the other girls! Your delicate skin and big eyes are definitely more inclined with international standards. Which could explain why you didn't find much success yet." He said sincerely.

"Really?" Upon hearing his words, Ashley raised her head in surprise. This was the first time she had heard others praise her look like this. At most, she had heard similar comments that her facial features were outstanding; never had someone assured her this much.

She was beginning to wonder why he was so nice to her? Maybe he really was an angel sent from heaven?

"Of course, even if you don't believe me, you have to believe in the eyes of Old Man George, don't you?"

"Thank you, Samuel; I believe you." Her sweet smile was so deadly that Samuel almost lost himself for a second. He calmed down while thinking about boring stuff to help himself through it.

He knew why the later generations were so obsessed with her; her smile was deadly, especially a sincere one which was rarer. No wonder she ranked first in that category! Although she looked a little immature, these things couldn't be hidden.

"Ashley, you were born here, right?" he quickly changed the subject; it had become a little bit unbearable with that smile at close range.

"Well, my father is American, and my mother is from Asia. But yes, I grew up in America."

"No wonder you look so beautiful." Samuel blurted out without thinking.

"So are you; this is the first time I have seen such a handsome young man." It was good that she didn't take any offence.

"Well, for me, it's hard to tell. isn't it?" Samuel said jokingly. It would be tough to find his ancestry as he was not from here.

" Who cares? As long as people turn out like me, I will be doing them a service!" He said with particular gusto. Ashley laughed when she thought about what he was implying.

Time went by fast while they were talking; they didn't even realize that the stylists were done with their make-up. They were asked to change into the clothes and be ready for the photoshoot.

The first few photos were geared toward dresses. Samuel wore a white tuxedo, while Ashley wore a tight-fitted dress with a V-shaped chest and an open back. When she first walked out of the dressing room while blushing, she didn't know how surprised the audience was.

Samuel had to admit the old man knew his craft; the dress felt made for her personally! She donned it perfectly. With Samuel's height of over six feet, Ashley had to wear long heels, but they looked great.

It was so good that the photographer got a little excited. He knew it would be a great shoot, so he was giving extra effort to ensure it.

"Come, come closer, Samuel, put your hand on Ashley's waist; yes, that's it, keep it like that." he kept asking the two of them to change poses.

Samuel unleashed his royal temperament, acting skills and friendly smile. It was a walk in the park for him.

On the other hand, Ashley was a little shy; she struggled with some poses, and her smile was a little stiff for the photographer's liking.

However, with a couple of jokes and a few words of encouragement from Samuel, she quickly relaxed and entered the zone. It was going well until they were asked to be intimate for the shot.

"Come, do a kiss? Yes, get closer." The photographer asked for further enhancements because the two of them were shooting well.

He pushed them all the way until the lips of both of them were about to actually touch. That's when he asked them to hold the pose for a while. Both could feel each other's breath clearly, and Ashley was already blushing heavily, looking at his milky eyes.

Perfect, the photographer secretly exclaimed perfection in his mind. A series of shutters sounded while he took his sweet time to shoot this scene.

Fuck! Samuel secretly complained because he felt like he was taking a wedding photo! He could see the staff smiling which made it even worse!
