With a crackling sound, blue flames appeared in Zack's palm. He raised his right hand forward as a fireball went forward.
The leader of the group realized something was very wrong with the blue fireball as he shouted at his subordinates to fall back.
"Icicle Avalanche!" The man shouted as icicles appeared from the ground and tried to block the blue fireball.
But the ice could only buy a few moments for the group to move away from the fireball's path as the blue flames completely melted the ice.
'Who is this kid…' The man thought with a glare as he looked at the handsome boy that had attacked him.
*Move out and try to take the other person hostage.* The man said before he decided to hold Zack alone.
His subordinates appeared beside Emma who still hadn't revealed her face. While relying on the element of surprise, she raised her fingers to her lips and called on the wolves.
The four subordinates didn't notice the wolves as they directly went to attack Emma from all four sides.
""Sound Pentagram!"" As soon as they shouted the name, a purple-colored barrier appeared around Emma.
She stared at the barrier with a smile before summoning her bow.
"You should never underestimate a cloaked figure," She threw the hood off her face. "Rest in pieces."
The four subordinates were surprised to see a woman underneath the hood however, they weren't startled.
Their barrier required five people to power it up but the fifth person was busy fighting Zack.
'I wonder how the boss is doing…' Bali thought as she turned her to look at the battle between Zack and Jacques.
That was her biggest mistake.
"Moon Shower."
Thousands of arrows burst through the barrier as they attacked Bali. The hooded woman didn't even have time to scream "Fck" before she was torn into multiple pieces.
"Four down. Guess I will let Zack handle the rest of them." Emma muttered with a yawn as she sat down on the ground and looked in Zack's direction.
The other three remaining people wondered what she was talking about. After all, they were still standing-
"Poison darts. While you were looking at my Moon Shower attack, I just hit you all in the knee with my darts." Emma explained while yawning as the three remaining people fell to the ground.
Emma was currently sitting at level 29 and she hoped that defeating the four people would have given her something.
Unfortunately, all she had gotten was exp which couldn't even push her to level 30.
Zack, on the other hand, was battling the leader with a guarded expression.
The person was two levels above him, however, it didn't look as though he had gone through the ascension trial.
"Spirit Spear Chastiefol, Second Form, Daggers of Sky!"
Zack immediately willed the daggers of the sky to shoot towards Jacques before he jumped backward and used earthquake skill.

Though it wasn't a destructive earthquake, it was still strong enough to shake the ground a little.
Jacques couldn't help but stumble a little as a few daggers managed to cut his body.
'Now, he will use his ultimate and most powerful skill and try to run away or kill me. The game developers recognized the importance of such a cliche I guess.' Zack sighed before he turned Chastiefol back into its original form and recalled the spear.
He then took out Eirias as the crystal sword started glowing with the blue fire.
"Icicle Storm!" Jacques suddenly shouted as he felt his hp slowly depleting. It had fallen below ten percent and if Zack managed to hit him once, it would be over for him.
'But that's why I have used this move.' He thought with a grin as dark clouds gathered above the duo.
The temperature dropped below -30 degrees Celsius as cold wind started to blow. Suddenly, icicles started to drop from the cloud, and mixed with the wind, icicle tornadoes started to form.
Emma had to get up from her place otherwise she would have been struck by one such icicle tornado.
"Oh come on, you are supposed to be the big bad guy? Such a disappointment." She said while pouting as both Zack and Jacques coughed a little.
"I am not a bad guy, dumb girl and it must be fun hiding behind your overpowered boyfriend's back. If you were alone, I bet you would be crying for mercy." Jacques said while spitting on the ground before he turned to look at Zack.
Zack had a grim expression on his face as though he had just seen someone die. After all, Jacques was now dead for him.
'Rest in pieces, you will not be missed.' Zack joined his hands and closed his eyes before praying as Emma's jaw twitched.
If her Moonlight Arrow was not on cooldown, she would have shot the man on the spot. But since both Moonlight Arrow and Moon Shower were on cooldown, Emma had to settle for a less flashy skill.
"Zack, can you please get these annoying pieces of ice away from my face?" Emma asked, or rather, ordered as Zack swung Eirias forward.
A slash of blue fire was released from the sword as it cut through the tornado and the icicles.
Jacques's jaw dropped down to hell as he saw his icicle storms being destroyed as though they were made from sand.
But before he could run or even say anything, an arrow whipped through the air and got stuck on his forehead.
"Nightie Nightie," Emma said with a cute smile before she triggered the explosion of the arrow.
However, she didn't kill the man. Instead, she knocked him unconscious with a 30-degree burn.
Zack could only sigh at this as the pink-haired woman had completely stolen his momentum.
The next moment, a huge smile appeared on Zack's face as he read the system messages that had appeared in front of him.
