"Do you mean that you have been holding back this entire time?"
Zack turned back as he suddenly came face to face with Eva. For a second, he had no idea how to react as she gave him a smile before pointing towards Gajeel.
"I formed a contract with him, allowing both of us to summon each other anywhere we want."
"I see…" Zack replied as he looked at Lance and nodded.
The Phoenix flew forward and passed into Zack's body as his blue wings appeared behind him once again and his hair changed as well.
Zack then rotated his shoulders a bit before looking at Eva.
"We will talk later but for now, we will fight."
"Indeed." Eva then closed her eyes as Gajeel suddenly shifted to his dragon form and flew towards Eva.
The scene was so terrifying that Zack wondered whether he and Eva would be blown away by the sheer size of Gajeel.
However, the dragon passed right through him and entered Eva's body. Similar to Zack, two silver wings appeared from Eva's back as her hair shimmered before turning to the same color.
She then opened her eyes and summoned all the metal that she had stored inside her inventory and made it revolve around her.
"You take care of him while I and the others will kill the hordes of undead. Don't die as you still have that request left." Eva said cheerfully before she flew down with the metals and used them to pierce the skulls of a few undead.
The others had also spread across the entire city and were fighting the undead on their own.
Emma was around the entrance of the city to make sure none of the hordes went outside. For better range, she had summoned the two eagles to help her and they flew above the entire city.
"Moon shower!" She repeatedly spammed the same attack while flying over the boundaries of the city.
Hayden was moving from street to street, swinging his ax like crazy while controlling the black tendrils perfectly.
He managed to kill many of the undead by simply passing the tendrils through their bodies or by chopping their heads off.
However, he was getting tired of it soon enough and had no choice except carefully plan his moves.
Lisa and Ken were near the guild as the former was creating protection formations around all of her teammates and the palace.
Ken was the one protecting her and using his powers to clear out the hordes approaching them.
[ Ken, a white swan would soon appear in front of you and you will feel that you have a connection with her. Make sure that you don't bother her too much and fight alongside her. ]
Zack suddenly remembered that Silvie was present in the guild and contacted the swan to go and talk to the monk.
Ken didn't question Zack as he was busy killing undead to bother asking. He just waited for a few minutes before he saw a white bird flying diving straight towards the nearest undead and hitting it in the head with her claw.
The undead burst into pieces as Silvie looked at Ken with an impressed look.
[ So you are the person who Zack wanted me to meet. Your moves aren't that shabby. ] Silvie said telepathically before kicking another undead into oblivion.
Ken didn't know whether to laugh as he saw the swan kicking undead left and right while talking to him.
Just like Zack had said, he felt that there was some sort of connection between the two of them but he didn't have the time to discuss it in detail.
"Buddha's Embrace, Second Form, Lotus palm!" Ken said aloud as he dashed forward and pushed his palm outwards towards the north.
A pink palm appeared directly in front of his real palm before expanding to ten times its original size and pushing through hundreds of undead.
Silvie looked impressed with this before she raised her right claw and raised it in front of her.
She opened her mouth and released a shrill sound before a pink claw appeared in front of her real one. Similar to what happened with Ken's palm, the pink claw went forward and cut through hundreds of undead.
[ Are you sure that she was trapped? I think she would have defeated half the city on her own… ] Ken asked while blinking his eyes in surprise.
He then raised his right hand and used the same technique repeatedly while Silvie did the same thing as well.
[ we will talk later. ] Zack replied a minute later as Ken was able to figure out that he was busy.
The monk then turned back to look at Lisa who had finished her protection formations for the group and was working on the one around the palace.
A few seconds later, Ken noticed a golden mist settling around his body as he smiled and raised his fist in Silvie's direction.
"Let's combine our attacks." He said confidently as the swan thought about it for a few minutes before nodding.
The two of them then let the undead get a bit closer to them as they raised their palm and claw together.
"Seven lotus wrath!"
They didn't know where the name came from but both of them shouted the name of the skill, Silvie in her language.
The pink palm and claw that emerged suddenly merged in the form of a lotus with seven petals. The seven petaled lotus started rotating at a crazy fast speed before it went above Ken and Silvie's head.
The lotus then expanded into a flurry of knife-sharp petals that zoomed around the entire street, killing thousands of undead.
Silvie and Ken were in awe when they realized that they could control the petals. Both of them summoned a few petals near their claws and hands respectively before using the petals to coat their claws and hands.
They then started fighting the undead in such a manner and killed thousands.
Lisa who was watching this from the side released a sigh and focused back on her formation.
But a single thought kept echoing in her mind.
'Why am I the one with the least power?'
