"Eh?" This time, all four of them were left confused by Zack's words as he didn't say anything and simply logged out.

He had already messaged everything to Ken on his phone watch. He would be arriving at Eva's home soon enough, making the entirety of the team.

'That only leaves me with Jules. I guess at this point, I should just go to England and work things out there.' Zack thought with a sigh as he waited for the others to get out.

Once all four of them were standing together near the pods, Zack explained why he had called them out of the game.

"Hikari is a real-world and everything inside it is being watched by gods, well not everything but you get what I mean. This place, Earth, is mostly secure from the eyes of the gods and only the true developers can do anything here."

Zack explained as he waited for his words to sink in. Seeing that no one was asking any questions, he continued ahead and told them everything that he knew.

Due to the memories he had gotten back, he now remembered most of the things that had happened, including what the world of Hikari actually was.

It wasn't just another world or a captured world. It was something that had prevented the dark ages from appearing.

'Looks like we will have to do that once again.'

After he was done explaining, Zack decided that it was time that he lifted some more things off his chest. He went ahead and explained all the events from the moment he had died in the infinity void.

The more he talked, the more baffled the other three looked. They felt as though they were being struck by lightning at uneven intervals of time so that they didn't get used to its sensation.

"So… you are a reincarnated person?" Emma asked once Zack had finished speaking. He had left behind a few details like how he had been planning to use them all for his good but other than that, he had told them everything that he knew.

"Yes, I am one."

"Damn… No wonder you knew what to do, when to do, and how to do." Emma muttered even though she had said something else privately.

[ So this is your what, third life while it's my second life? ]

[It's your third life too. I will explain everything once I am done answering their questions and also answering Mia. ] Zack had decided to hide the vision from them as well. Some things were better kept hidden.

[ Then I will wait for it. ] Emma replied as the two of them looked at Hayden and Lisa who seemed to be glitching.

"So… you had a past life before your last life?" Hayden asked in a slightly shaking voice as Zack nodded.

The king of the underworld then took a deep breath as he remembered the dreams he had after they had stepped into the future.

"Then I might know about that."

(A small switch to give you a better experience of what Hayden saw.)

"Ugh," Hayden muttered as he crashed down on the bed. After finding out that he had jumped in the future and things were a mess, he couldn't help but long for a sleepless night.

Yet he knew that he would never get one since the day he saw his mother die. He would forever be haunted in his nightmares.

Lying down on his bed, Hayden wondered what he would do next. He felt that a burden on his shoulders had been lifted.

He closed his eyes to face whatever was about to come next. A few minutes later, Hayden was soundly sleeping as he suddenly felt the bed below him vanish.

"Eh?" His eyes flew open to find himself sitting under a bright blue sky with the sun shining brightly.

He looked from left to right to see that he was sitting in the middle of some kind of ruins.

Hayden pinched himself before standing up and seeing around the entire place with a gawking face.

"Hayden, did you eat another one of those weird fruits? I swear that if you don't stop doing it, I will never heal you again." A familiar voice rang inside Hayden's head as he turned around to meet face to face with Zack.

Except, he looked different than the Zack he knew. The one in front of him had white hair and was wearing a white shirt and black trousers.

The clothes reminded him of one thing…

'Hikari…' He thought while having his mouth still hanging open.

"Hayden, are you having a stroke? Maybe I should leave you here and pass it as teaching you a lesson." Zack muttered but despite his words, he went ahead and placed his hand on Hayden's right shoulder.

He then saw that he had indeed eaten something and sighed before using his magic to completely heal Hayden.

At the same time, Hayden was kicked out of the body to find himself floating in a lake.

He couldn't move his body this time around and felt himself sinking down. Hayden's entire body was numb as he slowly felt a stinging sensation building up in his abdomen.

As his body continued to sink, he felt the water enter his lungs. He soon started struggling to breathe yet he couldn't do anything except continue to sink down.

He could now see the water above him turn redder with blood, probably his own blood.

'Hmm, it feels similar to what I felt back when I thought my life would end.' Hayden thought as he closed his eyes, resigning himself to whatever dreams he was seeing.

However, he suddenly felt a force pulling him upwards as his body was jerked out of the water. Hayden flew through the surface of the water and landed on the ground while coughing out water.

"Damn, that was close. Once we get out of this, I will strangle you for scaring me like that." Zack said while panting as he placed his hand on top of Hayden's hand and passed some amount of mana into his body.

"I…" Hayden began saying before he felt the body slipping out of his control.

"Just lay down, bro. Otherwise, I will kill you myself." Zack pushed him down and sighed.

While he healed the Hayden lying on the ground, the other one had already woken up on Earth.

'What the fck!' Hayden thought as his entire body was sweaty. He immediately sat up and looked around the room with restlessness clearly visible on his face.

Hayden then tried to make sense of what he had seen but halfway through, he suddenly felt a sharp pain spreading through his abdomen. It was as though someone had stabbed him before pulling the blade out.

He wanted to scream yet no voice escaped his lips as he lay on the bed with his hands pressed against his stomach.

Black vines suddenly shot out from his body and spread through the entire room.

At the same moment, Zack peeked inside the room and left the next moment.

Hayden felt himself drifting off to sleep and this time, he slept without any dreams…
