Chapter 112 112.

Soon it wasn't long before Xander hung limp and unconscious within the hands of this unknown, purple eyed assailant.

Dropping the body of Xander to the floor, the attacker wiped their hands as they looked back at Xander's body in disgust.

"Such an annoying bastard!" Cursed Camilla in annoyance.

"It's really a good thing that the Young Leader told me to watch this guy"

Camilla heard most of what Xander said and it would be a lie to say if she said she wasn't worried

Although She didn't know everything about the heroic families, she still knew just how influential and powerful they can be.

Sanctuary always said that nobody was above the law and that all students were treated equally, even those from the great Heroic families, but Veronica knew that was bullshit.

She was from the revolutionary army after all.

Their very existence was based upon the corrupt and twisted process of the noble elite.

Only the truly na?ve would believe that the heroic families didn't have any way to bend the rules of the academy.

The only thing Camilla was uncertain about was just how much they could bend the rules.

She didn't know whether they could blatantly bend the rules and kill Lucius without any repercussions, or whether they would be more cautious and only target him from the dark.

She didn't even rule out the possibility that the Heroic noble families would disdain Xander, ignoring

It would be fine if they ignored this useless bastard but if they took his words seriously and acted on them the consequences would be too dire.

This guy was a threat

"Should I just kill him?

As she thought this a terrifying amount of murderous intent burst from her body for a moment.

It was enough to make a grown man sick

Camila subconsciously reached out towards Xander's throat out of instinct before she suddenly stopped herself

No!

Lucius had instructed her to not kill Xander under any circumstances.

If she really did kill Xander in the heart of Sanctuary it would be impossible for her to escape the investigation, even if it was possible to escape the investigation, it would just not be worth the risk.

But Camilla really didn't want to leave Xander alone.

In her mind, for daring to act against Lucius, He deserved to be brutally punished.

Just as Camilla was about to settle for half burying Xander in a ditch, she suddenly paused.

All of a sudden a twisted smile appeared on her face as she looked at the now unconscious Xander.

"Yes… this would be your punishment for wanting to harm the Young leader…"

After saying this Camilla could be seen dragging his body off into the distance.

The next day there would be screams of horror and shock as an almost fully naked Xander was found tied to the giant fountain in the centre of the Sanctuary with his face beaten into a pig's head.

As this was going on the boss of the vicious woman behind the whole ordeal was still sleeping and recovering none the wiser to the entire incident.

Like that a week passed by since Lucius first woke up.

During that time he had received a lot of visitors.

Veronica, Camilla, Alice and surprisingly even the shy Nina made a visit.

It also had to be noted that, during this time, Lucius was also made aware of the strange Xander incident.

When he heard about it he burst out laughing for so long that he nearly couldn't breathe.

Although Camilla didn't tell him she did it herself, Lucius knew she was the culprit. But he didn't blame her.

He had told her to watch Xander carefully and act if he wanted to do something suspicious or that could potentially threaten him .

Seeing as he had gotten such brutal treatment from Camilla , it could only mean that he was up to no good.

It was impossible for Lucius to pity him then.

Lucius was rather happy to hear the news of Xander's misfortunes which only added on to his good mood and his days kept getting better as not too long after that, the school hospital approved Lucius's discharge.

It was just unfortunate that due to the forms he had to fill in and further inspections and tests for the medical team, Lucius had to remain in the hospital for the better half of a day.

By the time Lucius was truly discharged and allowed to leave the hospital, it was already turning dark outside.

Stepping outside, Lucius raised his hands out to the sky and took a deep breath.

"Ahh… freedom.."

Being cooped up and kept in the hospital ward nearly all times had left Lucius somewhat stifled to the point that just being out in the open like this felt extremely refreshing.

Lucius was about to walk towards his dorm to organise his things and then possibly talk to Camilla afterwards when he suddenly paused .

Lucius paused because in this moment he ate his eyes on a nearby bench located just outside the school hospital building doors. On that bench was a familiar beautiful purple haired woman. That kept glancing at Lucius shyly so when he saw her, she quickly tilted her head to the side to avoid his gaze as her entire face turned red.

Seeing this, Lucius smirked as he walked up towards her.

"Veronica, what are you doing here?"

As soon as Lucius asked we this question, Veronica began to stutter

"W-well .. th..this is because I wanted to see you…"

Hearing this, Lucius was shocked

"If you wanted to see me, why didn't you just come in and visit?"

Hearing this, Veronica's face turned into an extremely aggrieved expression

"You think I didn't try that! I came in earlier to see you but they said that since you're being dismissed today and undergoing tests they won't be allowing you to see any visitors! Damn it!! Don't they know who I am!"

As Lucius watched on he could clearly see Veronica's frustration to the point where she was even angrily stamping her legs with a slightly red face.
