The idea filled Elder Dongfang with sorrow.

He made a diving gesture.

He already had one from the first attempt, and the two symmetrical lumps now looked like a pair of horns.
They were kind of adorable.
However, the elders of the Military Academy didn’t see it that way. They were horrified.

“Why can’t we?!”
The discovery felt like a bucket of cold water poured over their heads.
They were so aggressive earlier, but now, they were all frozen on the spot and didn’t know what to do.
Two people finally arrived at that moment.
They were Mr. Xu and Mr. Lu.
Seeing them, the elders became excited and greeted their respective schoolmasters.

They thought they were dreaming.
As soon as Mr. Xu and Mr. Lu landed, Elder Dai angrily went up to Mr. Xu and asked, “Mr. Xu, why did this happen?”
Elder Dai pointed at what used to be the all-purpose transformation liquid. “Aren’t we supposed to have at least half of it? It’s all gone!”
Mr. Xu fixed his cold gaze on Elder Dai and asked in a stern tone, “Are you blaming me now?”
He sounded like he could kill someone right now.
Elder Dai was petrified.
Only then did he realize he was talking to Mr. Xu, a Spiritual Saint whose eyes he couldn’t meet.
Elder Dai immediately shut up, but he didn’t seem convinced.
He wasn’t alone.
None of the Military Academy’s elders were convinced.
Mr. Xu didn’t speak. He turned around and stared at someone on the other side of the dome.
When his cold gaze met Feng Wu’s eyes, Feng Wu felt like her eyes were being stabbed by needles.
Even with the protective barrier, Feng Wu felt a searing headache, and her mind went blank for a moment.
That was the effect of a capable master’s gaze.
Mr. Xu was one of the best cultivators in the empire, and he wouldn’t let anyone challenge his authority.
