Chapter 2822: Motivation
Seeing how confused Feng Wu was, Sun Yu had to explain to her.
“Ms. Chu Yun used to be our tutor and Mr. Gongsun Mu’s wife. She then divorced Mr. Gongsun and married the head of the Military Academy within a month.”
Wang Xiao’s face darkened. “Everybody knows Ms. Chu Yun and the head had an affair before she dumped Mr. Gongsun.”
Wang Nian said, “That happened last year. Our team lost, our flag was cut down, and Ms. Chu Yun is a humiliation to both Mr. Gongsun Mu and our school!”
Li Shaochu said, “I thought she would at least have the decency to stop showing up here. However, she’s actually the tutor in charge this time. She’s crossed the line!”
Sun Yu said, “If we lose again…”
Everybody was frustrated.
They wanted to tear something apart.
They were already in a bad mood, and the news only made them feel worse. They felt like they were burning inside when they reached the arena.
Many students received the news as well.
Everybody was equally frustrated.
Some people went into the forest at the back of the school and vented their anger on the magical beasts.
Other people went to the cultivation rooms to avoid the embarrassing scene.
Most students followed the Dynasty Team to the arena.
When Chen Ziyun and his team arrived, Gongsun Mu was confronting Chu Yun.
Chu Yun was unbelievably arrogant.
Gongsun Mu said, “The competition won’t start for another three days. You’re early.”
Chu Yun sneered at him. “We’re only free today. After that, we won’t be here anymore. We have to compete today!”
Gongsun Mu was angry. “This isn’t a small matter! You can’t change the date as you like!”
Chu Yun said, “What can possibly change in three days? Are you going to have more Spiritual Kings?”
Her students laughed when they heard this.
Gongsun Mu was furious.
Chu Yun sneered at him again. “You’re always like this: Too careful and too stubborn. Don’t make me look down on you more than I already do!”
Gongsun Mu’s face went livid.
Chu Yun changed her tone and said indifferently, “We all know what your team is like. Just bring them here and get it over with. We’re in a hurry to get to Peace Grassland!”
Gongsun Mu couldn’t stand the humiliation to Imperial College.
Chu Yun waved her hand and said matter-of-factly, “You’re going to lose, anyway. What difference do three more days make? You can’t win.”
Chen Ziyun and his teammates clenched their fists and went scarlet red.
Gongsun Mu was so furious that he was shaking.
Feng Wu glanced at Chu Yun.
What an arrogant woman!
She cheated on Gongsun Mu with the head of the Military Academy, but she sounded like she hadn’t done anything wrong. The humiliation she gave Gongsun Mu and Imperial College was unbelievable.
She also understood that Chu Yun had done it on purpose.
