In the midst of Raydon's efforts to make sense of what was taking place, he was once more confronted by the pressure that he had experienced earlier. It was as though a tumultuous wave had washed over him. And at that precise moment, the words that appeared to originate from the deepest parts of his being started going through his mind in a loop like a tape player.

'Submit. '

'Submit. '

'Submit. '

'This thing really pisses me off. ' Raydon gave a contorted expression as he took another disgusted look at the broken gate.

"It's not even here, and yet it can create such pressure just with the aura it left behind through a closed gate. How powerful is this thing really? '' Zephyr clenched his teeth as he spoke.

He, too, kept hearing the word "submit" in his head, and he was exerting all of his willpower to resist the urge to comply with it.

"Not bad," Samuen chuckled, his gaze sweeping across the troubled expressions of everyone present. "You are all able to stand firm and resist your natural instincts in the face of this formidable being." His words carried a touch of admiration, acknowledging the strength of will displayed by them.

He was not using any defensive skills to protect himself from this pressure, and he also felt it in his soul. However, because he had been training in this room for so long and had become accustomed to this pressure, he was not as troubled as the others.

''Father, what is this exactly?'' Arden inquired. He had to use a lot of willpower to prevent himself from falling to his knees and accepting the submission.

"It is normal that you can't comprehend what it is because you've never come across another higher being other than this thing. '' Samuen said.

''Higher being? '' Zephyr asked.

''Yes, as you are well aware, there are an extremely large number of races in this universe. Moreover, some of these races are inherently superior to others due to their innate characteristics. '' Samuen said.

When everyone heard what was being said, they all nodded their heads in agreement.

Raydon was also aware of this fact. He competed in matches against item holders of a variety of races, each of which possessed their own distinct advantages. For instance, the wing-man race he encountered in his first match naturally had wings and did not require any skills to fly because of this. In addition, when the item holders from this race first awakened, they would get more stat points, not just one point, for all of their stats, in contrast to the human race.

Samuen continued speaking once he saw that everyone was paying attention to what he had to say. ''And in addition to these races, there is also another group that is referred to as higher beings or high races. These entities, or individuals, can be seen as the nobility of the universe. Naturally, they are superior to other races, and they are also much stronger. ''

Then he pointed to the broken gate behind him and continued. ''The Observer is considered to be one of them. You can tell this thing is a higher being simply by looking at its presence, even though I'm not sure if it's exactly a race or something else entirely. And in the presence of this superior being, a lower race such as us are compelled to submit to it due to the fact that it is in line with our natural instinct. ''

''Damn… So that was the case. '' Zephyr uttered in a furious tone while clenching his fists. After he discovered that the human race to which he belonged was a lower race, and on top of that, after learning that there were people out there known as higher races who could subdue them just with their presence, he felt like he was completely helpless.

''Wait… Now I understand why the presence of this being affects us to such a great extent. But what about him? Is he also from a high race? '' Elara asked in a moment of sudden realization as she turned her gaze to Raydon, who was still standing still and unruffled.

'Hm… Yeah, what about me? ' Raydon, like everyone else, was curious about the response to that question.

Up until this point, he had been working to solve the mysteries while quietly observing what was happening all around him as though he were inside a game.

When Raydon was on his way here, he had the assumption that the head of the family would reward him for the few techniques he had demonstrated, but now things had taken a very different turn, and he found himself in the middle of a mystery in which he was the central figure.

Samuen seemed to know things about him that not even he himself knew, but to tell the truth, this did not bother him as much. On the contrary, he began to enjoy the event.

'Don't tell me. Am I also a higher being? No, I've got to be a god reincarnate, right? ' Excitement filled Raydon's mind.

However, very quickly, all of his expectations were dashed by Samuen's words.

''High race? No no. He is actually a human like us. '' Samuen chuckled as he said.

'Fuck human. How could I possibly belong to a race as lowly as humans? ' Raydon muttered in a frustrated manner as all of his heightened expectations vanished in this manner. He didn't care about the human race at all; in fact, he thought it would be more interesting for him to be a more intriguing and advanced race.

Again, with a sideways glance in the direction of Raydon, Zephyr questioned, "Then why?"

'Yeah, why? ' Raydon thought this with a glimmer of hope that still resided in him.

"Well, despite being human, he is anything but ordinary. It's highly probable that his existence rivals that of the Observer, considering his unique creation. After all, he was brought into existence with the grand objective of birthing a god," Samuen said, acknowledging the extraordinary nature of Raydon's origins.
