[Ashen Heart]

-Grade: Green

-Quality: N/A

-Skill: Body Enchantment

Mortal beings wielding the heart, which was licked by the same black flames of death that torment the souls of gods, can transcend their own race and ascend to a higher plane of existence, gaining +2000 HP and +2000 MP in the ash attribute, as well as a 100% increase in HP and MP regeneration.

''So Ashen Heart absorbed Emberheart after all, huh? The previous MP regen feature has also been modified. '' Raydon stared at the new body enchantment skill attributes in disbelief.

In addition to the +2000 HP and MP that Emberheart granted in its original form, even Ashen Heart's previous ability to double regeneration has been altered and improved. Before this upgrade, Raydon had to use some of his HP each minute to provide additional MP; however, this side effect was also eliminated.

''And you're telling me it's only green grade? Why is this body enchantment so special, I wonder. '' Even though he personally knew little about blue-grade body enchantments, he could still infer that these features were unusual.

"That witch stall owner would probably be trying her hardest to kill me right now for buying this body enchantment if she knew it had such a special ability," Raydon chuckled.

Nevertheless, it was a nice upgrade all in all. Now I can spare some time for item crafting. '' He said happily.

Even though Ashen Heart's new disadvantage bothered him, he could eventually control it with a technique and use it to his advantage. Additionally, he was still unsure of the ash attribute his HP had acquired and its hidden features, but he could discover them with time.

Raydon pushed these thoughts to the back of his mind, opened his Dimensional storage, and walked into the enormous room, where the crafting supplies were stashed away in a far corner.

''Well, crafting takes time, but I'm hoping I can make 1 set before my next match. '' With that, he moved to the center of his dimensional storage and began gathering the necessary materials and tools.

Now that his dimensional storage was bigger than his own room, he made the decision to use it as a workshop for crafting. Since the entrance of the dimensional storage cannot be closed while the user is inside, item holders typically don't spend a lot of time inside in case of an attack; however, Raydon judged that there was no danger in the area right now, so he began his crafting session here out of convenience.

Before using the blueprint scrolls, he first started gathering the materials he would need for crafting. There were a total of five types of ingredients needed to craft an item.

The first of these was the mob blood required to ensure that mana flowed while the item was being created. Raydon's was death-type shadow blood, which he bought from the market. As he didn't need to perform any additional procedures on it, he set this aside.

The following substance was death-type life-core. This was the ingredient that allowed the item to retain the skill and gave users of the item access to the skill. He put it aside as well because he didn't need to do any additional work on it. This time, he took one of the 16 black bones from the golden skeleton inheritance that he had found.

''Damn, this thing is a blue-grade material like that obsidian stone. ''According to the notes left behind by that Golden Skeleton, I can craft at least one set with one of these.'' Raydon muttered.

He sighed when he realized that even with a material worth at least 100,000 gold, he could only make 1 green grade item set, despite knowing that this set could only be made from a pure death-type material of blue grade. If he was lucky and never failed throughout the process, creating this item set with this material would cost him approximately 150,000 gold coins in total.

He grumbled, "Damn, this set better be good and earn me good gold coins."

He didn't even know what skills the items would have because all that was written in the notes about the set was how it would be crafted and that it had a command-type* skill set.

Additionally, since this set is intended for an item holder with a charisma build, he had no interest in using it himself and instead only wanted to trade and sell it in order to increase his gold coin earnings.

Raydon moved on to the skill-required part and took 1 black iron ingot after putting this expensive material aside. When he picked up this material, he realized it weighed nearly 10 kilos.

Then he walked to the forge in the corner of the storage, which appeared to be made of gray stone.

The forge consisted of a firepot, which was a large hole in the middle that resembled a bowl and was filled with charcoal that was dark and shiny. There was also a bellow there, which was used to blow air into the firepot and increase the intensity of the flames.

Surprisingly, however, there was no chimney above the firepot to vent the poisonous fumes and smoke. Raydon, however, was unconcerned; he knew that a chimney was unnecessary for this forge.

''Ignite.''

He threw a death-type life core into the forge's shiny coals, and after saying the skill's name, the coals spontaneously burst into flame.

The flames inside the forge, strangely, did not produce any smoke, were completely black, and did not produce any heat; rather, they were giving off a chilling sensation.

Without using any additional tools, Raydon put the metal in his hand into the flames.

It seems these flames do not harm me,'' he said. The reason he didn't use any additional equipment was so he could gauge his natural resistance to flames.

*Command-type: (I've been using the term "control-type" for it, but "command-type" seems more appropriate now.) Controlling other creatures as soldiers is the main characteristic of this skill set.
