Chapter 95 - Match Arrangements
As soon as Hayate Gekkou announced Yuna as the winner of the match, Medical-nin started to rush into the arena, or at least what was left of it, and approached Yuna and Lee.
Yuna popped her dislocated shoulder back in with an uncomfortable sound and waved the Medical-nin approaching her off.
"Don't bother with me. These scratches will be gone in an hour or two. Lee's arm, however, is heavily damaged. I cushioned some of the impact with my chakra to prevent the bones in his arm from turning into dust, but they are still heavily fractured."
Although the Medical-nin approaching her hesitated for a moment, after seeing that Yuna seems to be pretty much fine they started to assist the ones that were already busy healing Lee.
Yuna let her eyes wander over the audience and couldn't help but chuckle at the plethora of emotions that were displayed. Quite a few of the chunin and above rank shinobi were simply dumbfounded at the display of power and speed they just witnessed, while weaker chunin and most genin had a healthy dose of awe and fear mixed in as well.
There were, of course, a few exceptions. Gaara, for example, seemed to be almost frothing at the mouth while his killing intent was going haywire.
'He is pretty close to starting a massacre, huh? Well, if he starts something I will have him sealed up before he even can understand the situation.'
Next, Yuna's eyes landed on Sasuke, who seemed to be green with envy.
'Wow, I didn't know a human face could actually become green with envy. Has he gained some form of enlightenment in his Dao? He will probably spend the next few days…weeks bothering Naruto with questions about how and where I got this power.'
Yuna's eyes kept wandering. She saw Naruto, who seemed to be simply excited that he could witness such an interesting battle. Hinata and Anko seemed to be ready to pounce on her, and, of course, Hiruzen, who was currently glaring at her.
Yuna chuckled a little and gave him a playful wink. She noticed that someone, who looked very similar to Lee, was approaching her.
"I don't understand the full situation, but you seemed to have helped Lee break through a limiter he put on himself that even I didn't notice. I am truly thankful that you helped my student like that."
Yuna, however, only waved him off.
"No need to thank me. After all, from now on I will be the one blocking Lee's path. I am the hurdle he will need to surpass from now on, and I will make sure to make that impossible."
At first, Gai was slightly dumbfounded, but then started laughing out loud.
"Hahaha, very good! How youthful! Guess you are the greatest obstacle for Lee's dream now? He will surpass you; I will make sure of that! LEE'S YOUTH WILL BURN THE BRIGHTEST!!!"
After he said that he ran out of the arena to follow the Medical-nin that just transported Lee away. Despite leaving rather quickly, shouts of "YOUTH" could be heard from the exit for quite a while. Yuna chuckled a little when he saw how Guy reacted.
'This duo certainly surpasses me in youthfulness, huh? What a curious pair.'
After the excitement calmed down, Hayate made the next announcement.
"The only contestant left is Hinata Hyuga, so she will automatically pass the preliminaries, but will have to fight an extra match during the finale instead. This concludes the preliminaries and it is now time to draw lots to determine your matches for the final test of the chunin exam."
Hinata frowned a little when she was called a Hyuga, but didn't say anything about that yet. She had to make sure that her last name was skipped in the announcements of the last test. She would rather not have her strength associated with the Hyuga clan.
"Everyone! Walk forward and draws the lots one by one!"
Everyone quickly drew their lot and after a few minutes, a tournament chart for the matches was created:
Gaara vs Ino
Temari vs Shikamaru
Yuna vs Sasuke
Naruto vs (Hinata vs Neji) (Just in case this confuses someone: Hinata vs Neji is Hinata's extra fight. The winner of that will fight Naruto.)
Neji sneered in disdain that he had to fight Hinata first, while, for a single moment, a vicious smile appeared on Hinata's face that she quickly hid away again. During the preliminary, she has gotten a chance to talk with Neji, and it seems like the situation was even worse than she thought. Neji held not the slightest bit of compassion for her and genuinely hated her simply because she was weak. When she heard that, the last bit of hope she had for the Hyuga clan vanished and she became truly indifferent towards them.
The fighters had to spend another night inside the tower in the middle of the Forest of Death and then they would return to Konoha the next day in the morning.
Yuna was currently on her way back to her room, but when she passed by Hinata's room, the door opened with lightning speed and 2 pairs of arms shot out of it, pulling her into the room.
Yuna hadn't even properly entered the room yet when someone's lips met her own and a tongue invaded her mouth, which Yuna quickly reciprocated. As soon as the two people separated, another person attacked and similarly took Yuna's lips.
This went back and forth for quite a while. And when the three people separated, all three of them were breathing slightly heavily. One of them was blushing fiercely while the other two seemed to be perfectly fine with the situation and not embarrassed at all. What they had in common, however, was that all three of them had an excited smile on their faces.
"You two are quite fierce today, Hinata, Anko."
Hinata didn't say anything and only burrowed her head into Yuna's chest, while Anko chuckled a little.
"Hehe, your display of power got us quite excited. If I hadn't promised Hinata to wait for her I would have attacked you without clothes on and would have torn yours to shred the moment you were in the room."
A strangely muffled scream escaped Hinata's lips, while steam was coming out of her ears. A smirk appeared on Yuna's face.
"Hehe, bad girls with naughty thoughts need to be punished."
*Smack*
"*Moan*"
Yuna smacked Hinata's butt, but Hinata's reaction wasn't exactly what she had expected. Yuna couldn't help but raise her eyebrow a little.
'I expected her to be more on the M side, but it seems like I underestimated the situation. Oh well, I, of course, don't mind at all.'
Hinata, meanwhile, was getting even more flustered if that was even possible. Yuna smacked her butt, but instead of exclaiming in pain, she moaned. For a split second, she actually wanted Yuna to give her another smack.
'Nonono, calm down, Hinata. I am not a pervert; I am not getting excited by it. Especially if it is on clothes, if it were on the bare it would be understandable for it to make me exc…NO! Bad Hinata!'
While Hinata's mind was sinking deeper and deeper into depravity, Yuna glanced at Anko and could see a predatory smile on her face.
'Yeah, Anko leans pretty heavily towards S, so I am not surprised she is excited. After Hinata get's more used to the situation and starts to relax it might actually be pretty fun to attack her together with Anko, hehe.'
Yuna's and Anko's eyes met and they seemed to exchange massive amounts of information before a wide smirk appeared on Anko's eyes.
[There is no way she got what you wanted to tell her.]
'Don't underestimate a pervert's power to interpret spicy situations.'
[Yet again, I am not sure if that is something you should boast about.]
Before Hinata could sink any further into her own thoughts, Yuna lifted her chin and gave her a light kiss with a smile on her face.
"Do I really have to repeat, what I said all those years ago?"
At first, Hinata was rather confused by what Yuna was talking about, but she quickly realized what she meant.
'Haha, my through went into a weird direction again, huh. So what if I am a p-p-pervert, Yuna will still like me… WAIT! Isn't Yuna a pervert as well? She is telling everyone who asks that she wants a harem, after all. No way! I was tricked again!'
Most of Hinata's embarrassment vanished as she glared at Yuna.
Yuna only laughed at that.
"I know what you are thinking. You think I am a pervert, right?"
Although Hinata didn't say anything, her glare was a rather obvious yes.
"Hehe, in that case, you are wrong. I am not a pervert…"
Hinata was just about to speak when Yuna interrupted her. Both her hands snaked around Hinata and Anko and grabbed their butts.
"I am the Goddess of Perversion!"
