Chapter 91 - A Special Kind Of Genius
What followed, was a rather one-sided beat down. The trio seems to be rattled that their beloved Orochimaru-sama would gift Sasuke a hickey, so they barely summoned the effort to resist.
Mummy seemed to be the most shocked and didn't even try to attack Sasuke.
After Sasuke broke one of Handjob Man's hands, the black markings on his body receded which resulted in him staggering and almost collapsing to the ground.
Naruto was already looking through his bag to find some snacks, so he can properly enjoy the reverse beatdown, but to his disappointment, Mummy handed over his scroll and left.
'What the hell, Mummy? You should have at least snuck a few kicks in before leaving. I would have even pretended to not be able to reach Sasuke in time to prevent it. And why is Sasuke looking at me this smugly? Does he want applause?'
[Pretty sure he does. This was the first time he won a fight, after all.]

Naruto was just about to make a bunch of shadow clones to create a crowd that could cheer for Sasuke, when Sakura, with tears in her eyes, hugged Sasuke from behind.
"Please don't become like this ever again."
Naruto could only shake his head when he heard that.
'Pretty sure that is not a realistic request. He got a high from the power up, and as soon as he did he won a fight.'

Naruto shook his head to get the weird images out of his head and started to speak.
"Well, now that our princess has awoken from her slumber and Mummy gave us the scroll we needed, we might as well race to the tower in the middle of the forest and get this over with."
'The earlier I can get away from Sasuke, the ticking time bomb, the better. If I suggest putting a seal on that curse mark, he will probably fight me to the death. *Sigh*, so troublesome.'
Meanwhile, outside the Forest of Death, a little mouse was frozen in fear in front of a snake.
"Oh? So Yuna gave you a message for me, huh?"

Anko chuckled when she finished reading Yuna's message, which was written in the typical "Yuna" style. At the same time, she couldn't help feeling happy about the last part.
"I see, having you become part of Konoha shouldn't be a problem, just don't announce loudly that you were originally a shinobi from the Grass."

Anko only shrugged her shoulders.

Although Karin was slightly taken aback by that sudden question, she still nodded her head.
"I do."
A predator-like smile appeared on Anko's face.
"I wonder if you have ever heard of the book Garden of Lilies?"
Karin's face immediately turned crimson when she heard that name.
"N-N-No I h-haven't."
"Oh? Are you sure about that?"
Anko was slowly approaching Karin and despite them being outside, Karin felt like she was being backed into a corner.
"Hehe, you fell for Yuna, right?"
Karin blushed even harder when she heard Anko's question.
"N-N-No! I-I-I…"
"Hehe, you are in luck, Yuna actually likes women."
Karin's eyes lit up when she heard that.
'So, I have a chance! First, we'll get to know each other better, then we'll starting dating, after a while, we will start kissing and then guhehe…'
Although Anko wasn't sure what kind of fantasy Karin was having, her surprisingly lecherous smile gave a rather good indicator.

Hinata and her team had just defeated a bunch of Rain shinobi with gas masks that prepared a trap near the goal, when Hinata, yet again, abruptly lifted her head and started to scan her surroundings.
"What wrong Hinata? Are there even more of these weirdos lurking around?"
Hinata was still scanning her surroundings with her Byakugan, but couldn't find anything. A frown appeared on her face.
"It is the same feeling as last time, but much stronger. It feels like something happened that I didn't want to happen."
"That sounds rather strange."
Hinata nodded her head, but the frown stayed on her face for a while longer.
"Whatever, we have more than enough scrolls so let's get out of here."
"Haha, finally! Although it was only a day being constantly on guard is rather stressful."
Although Hinata nodded her head in agreement, she didn't think that was actually the case. After all, she was always on guard, no matter the situation so she didn't feel much pressure during the second test.
The only time she felt the pressure was during the fight against Orochimaru. The fatigue of that instantly vanished after Yuna kissed her, though.
A few days later, the second test finished and it was time for the next part of the chunin exam.
