Chapter 350 - Yet Another Story Of The Past Part 2
While the rest of the city was descending into chaos, the two guards standing in front of the gates of the Supreme Flame Tiger Heaven Burning Sect had cold sweat flowing down their backs due to the powerful killing intent crashing into them but nonetheless tried to hold their backs straight.
After all, they were guarding the Supreme Flame Tiger Heaven Burning Sect, the city's hegemony, and in their minds, it was impossible that whoever was rampaging inside the town would dare to attack the sect.
Unfortunately for them, a few minutes later, a young woman with blue hair, white eyes, and an insane grin approached the sect's gate.
"Stop, who are…"
That was as far as the first one of them came before both of them were impaled by an ice spike each, killing them instantly.
"Oh my~ That was the first time I indiscriminately killed someone; that sure feels disgusting. Hehe, I better get used to it since there will be a lot more of that today."
As soon as someone noticed that the gate guards were killed, the sect's defensive formation was started, causing a red dome to cover the whole place.
However, the young woman, Yuna, wasn't bothered by that in the slightest and approached the barrier with casual steps. Additionally, she noticed that quite a few people had started gathering behind the barrier.
As soon as the leader of that group, a middle-aged man with red hair, saw Yuna approaching, a sneer appeared on his face, and he started talking.
"Oh? What is this? A little brat like you dares to take advantage of the current chaos and invade my Supreme Flame Tiger Heaven Burning Sect? You are cour…"
While the middle-aged man was talking up a storm, Yuna reached the barrier and casually put her hand on it. Frankly, she had no clue how formations and stuff like that worked, but she didn't really mind.
"[Eternal Winter]"
A small patch of ice appeared on the barrier, and moments later, it started expanding quickly. From an outside perspective, it looked like a sheen of ice was slowly eating up the barrier, but the people inside the barrier had no doubts that the ice was simply covering it without doing anything else.
The sneer on the middle-aged man's face deepened, and he was just about to let loose a few more taunts when his face stiffened. A snowflake had just landed on his face.
He looked up, and his whole body shuddered in terror due to what he saw: It was snowing inside the barrier.
"Well, that was much easier than I thought~"
Yuna's cheerful sing-song voice gave the people gathered behind the barrier the creeps, and it took some time for the middle-aged man to regather his wits.
"Y-You monster! W-What did you do to our protection array!?"
"Hehe, thanks for the meal~"
"Sh*t! Stop spouting nonsense!"
Yuna chuckled in amusement as the ice barrier that was now surrounding the sect compound parted for her, allowing her to enter the sect.
"Okay, okay, I will stop speaking nonsense, so let's make this quick. I'm in a rather good mood right now, so I will permit you to commit suicide if you want to instead of getting killed by me. You have my permission to be thankful."
Yuna's arrogant words dumbfounded the gathered people, and moments later, the middle-aged man's temper flared.
"YOU ARROGA…"
*SPLATTER*
Yuna appeared before him and punched him in the face before he could finish speaking, resulting in his body turning into blood mist.
"I see, so you decided to choose suicide by provoking me, such a good choice."
The other people who wanted to insult Yuna immediately closed their mouths when they saw how easily Yuna dealt with a low-ranked sect elder. After all, the rest of them were only disciples, so they were relatively certain about the difference in power between them and the woman standing before them. That was, of course, only until a voice filled with authority echoed over the sect compound.
"Whoever kills her will be rewarded heavily."
Greed immediately flashed through everyone's eyes when they heard the words of the new arrival, and when they saw that it was one of the high-ranking elders of the sect, they were even more elated.
On the other hand, Yuna was unimpressed and sneered at the freshly arrived elder in disdain.
"You think a bunch of cannon fodder can delay me? Very well, thirty seconds."
Yuna looked at the group of around a hundred people in front of her, and a mad smile appeared on her face.
'My first ever slaughter, I'm getting a little excited~'

Yuna and the so-called high-ranked elder looked into each other's eyes, causing a disdainful smirk to appear on Yuna's face.
Then, she tossed the severed head of the elder aside with disinterest.
'Probably should have told him that he is included in those 30 seconds. Bunch of small fries.
Yuna's gaze wandered over the surroundings. She noticed how quite a few people were frantically trying to break through the ice dome that was now covering everything before her gaze landed on a gigantic building in the middle of the sect.
'Guess someone has to compensate for something~ Oh well, let's see what I can get out of this.'
Moments later, Yuna resumed walking towards the center building of the compound.
Meanwhile, a few minutes earlier, deep inside the Supreme Flame Tiger Heaven Burning Sect, a young woman was sitting on the ground, holding her knees and shaking in terror when she felt Yuna's killing intent flood the city.
"S-S-She i-is c-coming. T-That monster is coming for me."
An old man wearing an extravagant robe looked at her with a mix of anger and confusion.
"Useless! Didn't you say you stabbed her in the heart? Why isn't she dead!?"
"It's her after all, hehe, there is no way she would die from that, no, there is no way she can die at all, she is a monster, after all, hehehe, and now she is coming after me, HAHAHA!"
Despite being the one who stabbed Yuna, Kazumi took quite a bit of damage as well. Especially when Yuna's eyes met hers. Unlike Yuna, Kazumi wasn't exactly someone powerful, so Yuna's gaze alone already put quite a bit of pressure on her.
When he saw that Kazumi was slowly descending into madness, the old man, the sect master of the Supreme Flame Tiger Heaven Burning Sect, sneered in disdain.
"So what if she is coming here? I just didn't want to waste more resources on killing an annoying brat; that is why I decided to make you backstab her. Now, that that idiot decided on a frontal assault on my sect, there is only one option left for her: Death."
Instead of answering him, Kazumi murmured to herself as she noticed that it started snowing within the sect grounds.
"She's coming."
