Chapter 448 CH 434: WILL YOU HOLD ME?
The car was driving under the illumination of a moonlit night sky, the sun already vanishing beyond the horizon of the endless sea, letting the gently shining moon take over the task of illumination that belonged to the humongous celestial body.
Inside the car, the atmosphere was weirdly tense for a very weird reason, said reason was…
"You are keeping the blindfold on, right?"
"Yes, I am…"
"No cheating, okay?"
"Don't worry, I am a man of my word."
Currently, the one driving the supercar that belonged to Adam was none other than Natasha herself. Meanwhile, Adam was seated on the passenger seat with a proper posture while looking ahead.
The only thing to take note of in this scenario was the fact that… his eyes were covered by a blindfold right now.
Adam found this situation quite amusing, to say the least. It had been quite some time since he had to rely on nothing but his eyes. His direct power [The World] gave him a far broader perception than his eyes and other senses ever could and while he wasn't truly omniscient and couldn't assimilate all the millions of information that would rush into his mind whenever he went all out yet, it was still much superior to what his eyes could bring to him.
Adam was obviously lying right now but at the same time he wasn't really cheating now, was he? The blindfold was indeed covering his eyes and he couldn't see anything as he had told her. Even though he wished to play the game that Natasha was trying to make him play, they were in a situation where an attack could happen at any moment.
There was no way Adam would close his surest way of keeping everything under control.
'Though, I wonder what the surprise she is planning is even.'
Adam had an idea about what Natasha wanted to do right now. In fact, he would need to be blind and as dense as a rock to not see what Natasha was trying to do with all the mystery and everything.
But he decided to play around with her little surprise and act it out to the best of his abilities.
'This is not my first rodeo but I am feeling just as nervous… Whew~'
His first true relationship had been with Sae. The second woman in his life was Hae-Won and finally, his third and final relationship had been with Shuri, someone he wanted to protect with his all.
Outside of the fact that Hae-Won had died, he had two women on his hands now and he might have even more in the future.
In fact, not even 24 hours ago, he was having sex with a woman he met for the first time in his life and said woman was also a mother of two and while he didn't really force her to have sex with her, there was no denying that there was a form of coercion involved that led to the debauched event.
The fact that she ended up liking it later didn't really matter. The truth was the truth.
'I am quite the piece of shit when I genuinely think about it, huh…'
Adam mused quietly in his mind. A mass murderer, a thief, a liar, a playboy and so many more negative modifiers attached to his name that he was not even willing to count them. It was funny how all these things weighed so much on him not so long ago but now he barely even cared for them in the least. Letting go of morals was truly liberating for him in this case.
Natasha knew he had many relationships and she did not mind it in the least. Who then had the right to judge him?
'Perhaps her parents, I guess…'
He laughed quietly and rested against the seat as the car continued its way through the bustling roads of Los Angeles.
"Natasha, what did you think of the date? Honestly, I wanted the date to extend some more. Visit some more places with you and all, you know…"
Visit an attraction park, watch a movie, or simply go ice skating somewhere. There were actually many activities Adam had prepared for this day.
But with how Natasha clothed herself, many of them would have been unsuitable so he had to discard them. Ultimately, he worked his way around everything and settled on the events that they had gone through the day.
"It was great. This is the first date where I really had fun and didn't have to force myself to smile."
All her previous dates were blind dates organized by her family to introduce her to young males or rather werewolves.
Those dates weren't bad in themselves and many of the young men introduced to her had in fact been talented men with great educational qualifications, they were young men who respected her and did not step beyond the line, being mindful of her feelings.
But she had never had fun with them. Never truly felt at ease while being beside them. Never truly felt any of the things that she felt when she had Adam by her side.
"In fact, did you know? I wanted to hire a Gigolo for my birthday. Simply so that my parents would stop bothering me."
"Oh…"
"The one I contacted was the Wild Hunt."
"Cough~ Cough~!"
Adam coughed lightly and Natasha laughed by herself, "Don't you think it would have been fun? I am pretty sure the Black Phoenix would have sent you to me."
"Heh, perhaps, in another world and another time, that would have been the start of our messy relationship."
Adam laughed once again, finding the situation to indeed be quite funny in itself. The way even the smallest events could absolutely change everything in the future was something that fascinated him to no end. The river of time and the branches that led to completely different new futures were things of wonder to many of the supernatural side.
"We have arrived."
Adam ignored how Natasha's heartbeat skyrocketed so much that it really seemed like her heart would just explode at any moment. Ignoring everything, he moved his body as Natasha opened the door for him.
"Can I remove these blindfolds now? Honestly not the best things to have…"
"Not yet."
He was pulled by the hand and his body thus moved forward. The sound of a door opening, the sound of an elevator closing. Even without using his domain to see anything, all those small pieces of information reached him and finally, he stopped in his tracks.
"Now you can take them off."
Adam already knew where he was, but he still did his best to act like he was utterly surprised, astonished even when he finally took off the blindfold.
They were currently inside a bedroom.
It was a normal-looking albeit slightly luxurious bedroom with a queen-sized bed in the middle of the room.
"Natasha…"
"Adam. You are not a kid and neither am I."
She spoke with a certain firmness in her voice but there was still a small tremor underlaid in her raspy front,
"I believe in you but— there is always the chance for something to go wrong… No. All of these are just excuses."
She shook her head and moved the straps of her robes, making them fall down and reveal her lithe and beautiful body clad in nothing but a pair of panties. Her long golden hair fell and covered her chest while her blue eyes gazed at him with deep lust and hunger.
"Adam. I want you and I want you to hold me. Hold me so tight that I feel like I will never be separated from you in this life or any other…"
The only light in the room was the gentle rays of moonlight, shining through the window and bathing Natasha's glamorous body with its soft, silvery light.
Natasha was quite embarrassed, all things considered.
"I know that my body isn't as voluptuous as Sae's and much less Professor Shuri's. Are you maybe… disappointed?"
She was acting so cute right now. Adam said nothing as he approached her and kissed her deeply, their lips entwined in a dance full of desire and debauchery.
When their lips finally parted, Natasha looked up at Adam, her eyes flickering with hints of scarlet red.
"Will you hold me?"
The answer was more than evident.
