1915 Dealing With It

In the secondary space projection, Fang Heng accelerated toward the top!

On the city wall, the imperial uncle was oblivious to being targeted by Fang Heng and was currently in a state of panic.

These undead were too mysterious.

Despite the castle gates outside being intact, they had somehow infiltrated without anyone noticing!

How did they manage that?

Could they employ some mysterious method to appear beside him?

“Fear comes true,” the imperial uncle thought, and suddenly detected an anomaly and looked up abruptly.

He noticed an abnormal ripple in the space not far from the right, like waves spreading outward on a calm lake.

What was this?

The imperial uncle doubted whether he had seen it correctly, staring closely at the ripples in the space.

Whoosh!

The next instant, Fang Heng stepped out of the secondary space projection.

“Protect the imperial uncle!”

The black armored guards of Jones Kingdom, seeing this, shouted and immediately drew their swords, attacking Fang Heng.

“Stop!”

Within moments, several black armored guards surrounded Fang Heng, thrusting their long swords at him.

To the astonishment of the Jones Kingdom’s black armored guards, Fang Heng stood motionless, offering no resistance!

“Chi! Chi, chi!”

The guards stared at Fang Heng in horror, their eyes filled with incredulity.

Over a dozen long swords pierced Fang Heng’s body, even going through him, yet he stood there as if completely unharmed.

“Bang!”

Fang Heng swiftly swung the metal long rod in his hand.

Two black armored guards were still in shock and felt a powerful force pushing them back.

Fang Heng didn’t press further. He calmly looked at the imperial uncle hiding behind the black armored guards, removed the human skin mask from his face, and smiled. “Hello, you must be the imperial uncle, right? Nice to meet you. I’m Fang Heng.”

The imperial uncle’s pupils contracted as he stared at Fang Heng, a trace of fear flickering in his eyes.

“Fang Heng…?”

He recalled the first time he heard Fang Heng’s name, a hint of disdain still fresh.

And now, after just a few hours, Fang Heng alone had dominated the entire Jones Kingdom. Even the three military fortresses, funded extravagantly by the Jones Kingdom, were on the verge of falling. The imperial uncle no longer brave to underestimate Fang Heng.

“Imperial Uncle, I’ve come with sincerity. I hope we can have a good conversation.”

The imperial uncle focused on Fang Heng, sensing an underlying fear. Sternly, he asked, “What do you want to discuss?”

“Surrender and choose to cooperate with me. Together, we can face the Holy Court. You’ve made the wrong choice once. Now, I hope you can reconsider. Otherwise…”

Fang Heng glanced at the few black armored guards before him, and a cold aura emanated from him. From a distance, he used the vampire’s Breed-Boiling Skill on the imperial uncle. “Otherwise, I’ll have no choice but to kill you. Don’t worry about being alone. Soon, the warriors of Jones Kingdom will also be killed by me.”

Feeling the murderous intent from Fang Heng, the imperial uncle’s heart raced. He sensed a rising temperature in his body, and even breathing became arduous.

What was happening?

It was him!

The imperial uncle felt an extreme threat to his life, and the guards beside him were powerless to protect him!

“Wait!”

The imperial uncle shouted, tightly staring at Fang Heng, sensing that his life was in Fang Heng’s hands. He couldn’t help but take a small step back. “I agree!”

All the ministers were shocked.

No one had expected that the dignified imperial uncle would be so feeble, surrendering without a trace of backbone after being frightened by Fang Heng.

“What are you all standing there for? Hurry up and retreat! Quickly!”

“Smart choice.” Fang Heng canceled the release of the Boiling-Blood Skill and peeped at the black armored guards who had retreated. He walked up to the imperial uncle and extended his hand. “I wish us a happy cooperation.”

The imperial uncle’s forehead was covered in cold sweat. He looked at Fang Heng and shook his trembling hand.

Fang Heng then peeped at the ministers of Jones Kingdom and turned his gaze toward the castle’s exterior.

The Holy Court’s army was still entangled with the zombies outside.

“Change the target of the magicite cannons and aim at the Holy Court team.”

The imperial uncle’s pupils contracted upon hearing this.

Fang Heng slowly turned his head, staring at the imperial uncle. “What? Is what I stated not clear enough?”

The surrounding black armored guards discreetly approached, tightly gripping their weapons.

The imperial uncle carefully swallowed his saliva.

How could he muster the courage to say no when his life hung in the balance? He nodded and commanded his subordinates, “You all heard it! Magicite cannons! Change the target! Aim at those people from the Holy Court!”

“Yes!”

The soldiers promptly obeyed the order, directing their magicite cannons toward the Holy Court team outside.

“Very good. I feel the sincerity of your cooperation.”

Fang Heng nodded in satisfaction.

“Boom! Boom!”

Soon, the magicite cannons on the fortress unleashed another round of attacks.

Unlike before, this time the cannon fire didn’t land on the zombie team but struck the Holy Group’s group!

Several Holy Court’s Holy Paladins were instantly slaughtered by the magicite cannons, and even more Holy Paladins within the explosion area were sent flying, sustaining heavy injuries.

The Holy Court was stunned by the magicite cannon attacks from their teammates.

“Jones Kingdom’s fools! How can they make a mistake even in such a simple attack with the magicite cannon?!”

Before the Holy Court members could grasp what was happening inside the fortress, the second round of magicite cannons struck the Holy Court team.

“Not good!”

Only now did the Holy Court realize that something was amiss and looked up at the city wall.

Jones Kingdom’s people had betrayed them!

Though they didn’t know the specifics of what occurred on the city wall, two consecutive attacks couldn’t be explained by mere mistakes!

They did it intentionally!

While they were still fighting for their lives, the higher-ups had already surrendered.

The team leaders of the Holy Court entangled with the zombies and felt a mixture of anxiety and anger. They were now caught in a dilemma, particularly since they were within the range of the magicite cannons and could only passively endure the attacks.

Escape?

There was no way to escape!

The city gate of the military fortress behind them was tightly closed, and a multitude of zombie creatures were slowly advancing toward them!

For a moment, a sense of sorrow filled the hearts of the Holy Court knights. In their minds, they had cursed the people of Jones Kingdom countless times.

Jones Kingdom!

Treacherous and shameless villains!

They had abandoned them at such a crucial moment!

Below, Anthea, leading the heavy-armored knights in battle, observed the change in the magicite cannon’s target. Her expression shifted a few times as she too looked towards the direction of the fortress.

“Not good!” She knew that a significant change must have occurred within the military fortress.

At this moment, the artillery fire was not aimed at her team. The group of zombie creatures seemed to have shifted their focus and was now only attacking the Holy Court.
