Chapter 417 Typhon : The Third Son!
Valerie placed her hand on the ground and smiled anxiously.
Using her supreme divinity over the earth, she eroded away a perfect hole in the ground that was around fifteen feet across.
However, it traveled all the way down into the actual crust of the island, until it pierced a huge chamber underneath.
Finally, Valerie saw a single, enormous reptilian eye that was peering back at her through the created hole in the earth.
"There's my baby... Mommy needs you to try and break out for her, okay?"
As a response, she heard a deep, guttural growl that sounded exactly like it would come from a being known as the father of all monsters.
But Valerie and the rest of the wives were... a bit unaffected by such things.
"So cute... you already resemble your father more than you know, my darling."
In the next moment, the entire island began to tremble as if it were going through a fierce earthquake.
Valerie watched Typhon struggle fiercely as he writhed around underground.
But as she watched him try to break free through the loosened soil, she noticed something.
Bright, golden magical runes could be seen inscribed along the walls of the earth.
Her son was just on the cusp of breaking free, but it seemed like someone had recently reinforced the mountain with magic to prevent him from getting out.
'Bastards..!' she thought irritably.
"Lailah!"
Valerie called for the family's most talented magic user and she floated down from her place along the volcano rim.
"You called?"
"He's stuck down there! I need you to help me siphon power from those runes so that he can get out safety!"
Lailah nodded as she kneeled down onto the cracked molten rock.
Briefly, her eyes glowed with a golden light as she placed her hands onto the soil.
In an instant, she had seen through all of the inner workings of this spell, as well as the method required to break it.
"This is sloppy work, so I can break it, but I can't store all of this divine energy in my body." She said as she turned her head to the sky.
Husband?"
Abaddon appeared right beside Lailah with Bekka still clinging onto his back in a display of stubbornness.
"What's wrong?"
"I just need to borrow your body's inexhaustibility for a moment. Bring me your face."
One thing that would never change about Abaddon was that he never needed to be asked for a kiss more than once.
He immediately brought his lips towards Lailah's without a second thought, and finally she could get her spell underway.
With one hand on the dirt and her lips constantly locked with her husband, Lailah siphoned the magical power from the seals and passed the tremendous amount of energy through her own body and into her husband's.
Since Abaddon was basically a black hole for every type of natural or magical power source, he was able to absorb the power he was being given with absolutely no changes in his body.
Although, Bekka could swear that she felt him becoming warmer, but that may have had something to do with the fact that he was kissing Lailah for so long.
She was also starting to show some signs of arrousal as well, but she had to keep her mind focused on the immense mental gymnastics that it took to undo the spell of a god.
After no more than thirty seconds of this, there was finally a change.
With a loud explosion, an enormous clawed fist covered in bronze scales punched through the ground in front of them.
It latched on to the surface of the volcano where it's parents once stood, and started to tear the ruined earth apart it as it crawled to the surface.
When half of it's body was revealed, Abaddon let out an impressed whistle.
As the legends stated, his son had a great number of snake heads on it's body.
At first glance, he counted well over a hundred or so, but he knew that he was still leaving some out.
From the necks down, he had a broad, muscular chest that was covered in it's signature bronze scales that would put even the best armor of the gods to shame.
Behind it's back flapped wings that were so large that they could have covered up the entire volcano from the sun.
It's lower half was like that of a giant octopus with numerous tentacles that could have also combined together to form one, single tail that was large enough to sweep away half of this island in one fell swoop.
Once it was free, it let out a powerful roar that was up there with one of Abaddon's in terms of volume and destructive potential.
If he and Audrina weren't working to conceal this spectacle from the outside world, the roar alone would have killed every living thing on this island.
Once free, Typhon focused it's numerous heads onto the woman who was flying in front of him.
Though it was still the farthest thing imaginable from cute, Valerie did not seem to be the slightest bit intimidated by it's appearance.
The mark on her pubic region started to glow though her pants as she stared at her son with eyes filled with pity.
As far as she could tell, this was all that her son was.
Though he was a primordial beast, Typhon showed almost no signs of intelligence.
He could commit her face to memory, but other than that it's brain was solely focused on destruction, death, and violence.
"My poor baby... I used to be a lot like you, you know..? I was angry a lot and I took it out on the world, my body, my creations... I didn't have anybody to show me any more. I didn't have anybody to tell me that I could be more."
Valerie held out her hand in a welcoming gesture as she beckoned for her son to come closer.
"But you don't have to be like that. Just come with me, and your family will show you the best of everything that life has to offer. Through thick and thin until the end." Valerie said sweetly.
Like a moth attracted to light, Typhon brought it's body closer to Valerie without actually understanding why he was doing it.
One of it's massive heads brushed her outstretched palm ever so gently, and then it's body transformed into a mass of pure energy.
As Belloc had done with Audrina, it entered into her marking without obstruction, and disappeared from the world entirely.
Valerie felt a gust of wind blow past her back, and a familiar pair of muscular arms wrapped around her waist to pull her in closely.
"How do you feel?" Abaddon asked gently.
Valerie enjoyed the feeling of her husband's breath on her neck as she rubbed her own stomach.
"Excited... jittery... scared. All of our other children are so... independent. As far as I can tell, Typhon will be almost like a normal baby.
There's a lot we have to teach him but I think we can handle it... After all, we have good partners to fall back on. He can learn something from each of us."
Abaddon couldn't even bring himself to say anything, as he was too moved by Valerie's words to properly articulate himself.
Instead, he turned her head to the side ever so slightly and prepared to kiss her, when he suddenly paused and his eyes flashed open.
"What?" Valerie said impatiently. "I'm already getting pregnancy hormones, don't start teasing me!"
Abaddon laughed as he brought his lips beside Valerie's ear.
"Be patient for a moment, love. I just thought of a way to help our family grow even further."
As he whispered his plan into Valerie's ears, she nodded thoughtfully as she listened.
With the plan decided on, the two of them went to find specific members of their family.
They landed in front of Bekka, Lailah, and Lisa with sinister smiles on their faces.
Suspicious, Lisa backed away warily. "What are you two- Mmf?"
Valerie ended up catching her oldest friend completely off guard and pulling her face in for a sexy yet impromptu kiss.
Lisa was used to random displays of affection, as they were something that kind of went hand-in-hand with marrying into this family.
However, this felt a bit different from the dirty, yet passionate embraces she was used to receiving.
This felt warmer, and more divine.
She felt like her entire body was being filled up with energy, and the connection she felt to her family was being strengthened.
As quickly as she first kissed her, Valerie pulled away and grabbed Lailah next.
The charming witch seemed to know exactly what their intention was behind this act, and instead of backing away she was more aggressive and met Valerie first.
When Valerie was done with her, she grabbed the confused, yet cute Bekka and filled her with the unknown energy as well.
As soon as she was done, Valerie finally backed away while wiping her lips of drool and accumulated chewing marks.
"Okay, I think that should- Mmh!"
Just as she thought she was done being smothered, Valerie had her lips stolen once again by a very impatient and slightly aroused Abaddon.
...They admittedly got a bit carried away, as Valerie leapt up and wrapped her legs around his waist as he squeezed her large butt.
While they were forgetting that they wouldn't be able to have sex for a week, Lailah, Lisa, and Bekka all felt their bodies get warmer and warmer as they fell to their knees.
Previously, Abaddon had been regaining his power through reclamation of his children.
But when Asherah elevated him to godhood before he was fully ready, she set him on an entirely different path that would be grander than what he walked in the past.
Unfortunately, that made reclamation of his children and their power somewhat obsolete of a method.
As he was now, Abaddon did not need their energy, and there was no unorthodox ability they had that he didn't.
Think of it like using a charger on a phone that was already at 100%.
However, Abaddon's wives who had yet to reach godhood were a different story.
They still had room to grow, and because of the mark that links their mind, body, and souls with their husband's, they alone can absorb and assimilate the power held by his children.
Evidence of this theory came when the three respective columns of golden light shot into the sky, and Abaddon and Valerie finally broke their kiss as they smiled.
