Chapter 370 Aether & Nether

Abaddon blinked his eyes several times as he waited for what his daughter said to make any sense to him.

But eventually, he gave up.

"Sounds cool... What is it?

"...Father, pick me up..."

"...?"

Abaddon obliged and lifted his daughter into his arms, only to receive a small smack from her baby hand.

"It is more than COOL, you old man! You have no idea just what an absurdity you are, do you?!"

"Who is the old man??"

"Focus!"

Gabbrielle started to rub the bridge of her little button nose as if she was developing a migraine.

"Forget it... Tomorrow morning, a new lesson will be required for you and my mothers who have just ascended."

Almost on cue, Abaddon and his wives looked at each other with crestfallen expressions.

Lillian: "W-Well does it have to be tomorrow, my daughter?"

Tatiana: "T-That's right, your mommies and daddies were planning on spending some time together, just for a few days or so..."

Lailah: "A-Atleast a week!"

Lisa: "Right, at least a week."

Gabrielle rolled her eyes as she reminded her parents of a very important thing that they seemed to have forgotten.

"Your coital antics will have to wait for more important matters. Besides, Mommy is still pregnant."

Everyone chose that moment to look at Audrina, or more specifically her stomach.

"I-It's okay!" She said. "As long as we're gentle then the baby should be..."

Audrina conveniently le her eyes drift towards her husband's pants and remembered the sheer size of his member.

It was fine when he pushed past her cervix on any other night, but now there was no way!

He would put a dent in their poor baby's head!

She couldn't let that happen!

Audrina fell to her knees; full of despair. "She's right! We can't do anything until the baby is born!"

"I mean..." Lailah began. "you can't do anything but we still-"

"Don't you dare! If you girls think I'm gonna let you enjoy the first taste of his sex divinity without me, you got another motherfucking thing coming! You got me?!"

""""""""...Yes..."""""""""

"That's what I thought!"

All of the wives clicked their teeth silently, while Abaddon lamented inwardly over what was becoming a serious case of blue balls.

The only way he could think of to survive was if he threw himself into practicing with his powers and tried his best not to have any wet dreams.

'I think it'll be best if none of us sleep naked during this time...' He realized.

"So we are in agreement then? Lesson starts tomorrow morning after breakfast?"

Abaddon / Valerie / Eris : "...Yes."

"Good."

Apophis felt a small tug on his sleeve and looked down to find his younger sister looking at him with inquisitive red eyes.

"Big brother, why does it seem like mommies and daddy have lost their will to live?" Mira asked.

Apophis patted his sister lightly on the head. "I can't explain it to you now... perhaps you will understand when you're older."

"THE HELL SHE WILL!"

-

The next morning came after what felt like an eternally long night.

Abaddon and his wives had always prided themselves on not needing sex to function normally in their relationship, even if they enjoyed it often and passionately.

However, last night they were like jittery little balls of lust and erotic juices.

Everytime someone brushed their skin up against another person or made any sort of sound that could have been interpreted as a moan, Abaddon had to step into the bathroom to calm himself down.

Though he technically did not require sleep anymore; he had never felt so deprived of it in his life.

Evidently, Valerie and Eris seemed to have suffered just as much as him.

Because both of them had received divinities related to intercourse, they were also in possession of a new limitless libido.

But since they were unable to act on it, they became significantly clingier and less inclined to be separated from their husband.

Leading to the current situation where both women were clinging to the arms of Abaddon like they were afraid he was going to fly away and never come back.

"..Might you release father so that we can get to work?" Gabbrielle asked in mild irritation.

""We're fine like this.""

"It is inefficient. Please remove yourselves from him so that we may begin."

The girls muttered some words about life suddenly losing all of it's meaning and peeled themselves off of their husband.

At which point, Gabbrielle held out her arms for her father to pick her up, and her mothers let out twin cries of indignation.

"Hey!"

"Come on, that's not fair!"

"What? I said it was inefficient for you two to work like this, not me." Gabbrielle said with a shrug. "Anyways, let's begin."

The girls looked like they had a mountain of complaints to throw their daughter's way, but eventually they chose to remain silent and get this all over with.

Like their husband, they were born incomplete gods who didn't know how to use their abilities or even what powers they had, so they had to learn from scratch.

Just like with Audrina and Seras, the wives had three divinities at the supreme level that they had been given and wanted to learn to use first.

For Valerie, it was Disaster, Earth, and Creation.

Eris' were Nature, Love, and Animals.

Upon testing their powers, the girls learned that they had become frighteningly powerful in their own right.

They were slow to learn at first, but once they got the hang of it, their excitement could finally be directed towards something other than sex.

Surprisingly, the one who showed the most energy in learning was Valerie.

For a long time, she had been among the weakest of Abaddon's wives and the one who had the least fighting experience.

However, her divinity of disaster shot her up to among the strongest.

It gave her absolute control over natural disasters; such as hurricanes, floods, avalanches, plagues, volcanic eruptions, and even the summoning of meteors and supernovas.

On the other hand, Eris wasn't exactly slacking either.

Through cutting off parts of her body, she was able to create real thinking and breathing animals.

She did not seem to have a limit on the amount of times she could do this as of right now, but an obstacle she had to overcome was her family's low tolerance for seeing her hurt herself.

Honestly, why was she always the one who got treated like a baby by everyone?!

She was already over three hundred years old!

'Although I know it's because they love me... I love them too! I really really love them!' She thought.

Evidently, just as Seras' divinity of joy seemed to affect her emotions, the dark elf seemed to be dealing with the same issue.

Everytime that she looked or even thought about her husband, she was filled with the most pure, passionate, and possessive love that could ever be imagined.

She desired no more than just being able to touch and caress him until the last star in the cosmos flickered out of existence.

The girls practiced with their powers for upwards of three hours, testing all of their new abilities and getting a grasp on their capabilities.

Eventually, Gabbrielle decided that they had done enough after such a long time and finally gave her father an opportunity to learn.

"Are you ready for your first test now, Father?" Gabrielle asked.

Abaddon smiled purposefully and placed her body onto the ground.

"Alright, now try to use your powers like we talked about earlier." She said.

Abaddon tried to concentrate, and remembered her explanation from this morning.

Aether & Nether are two very very old and powerful counterparts of each other.

The reason why Abaddon thought he'd lost all his powers except for these two is because Aether is the combination of spirit magic, life energy, aura, and mana, and it flows throughout all of space and the heavens like air.

In addition, it is a true combination of the elements of life , such as fire, water, earth, wind, so on and so forth.

The reason why Abaddon felt like he'd lost all of his powers was because before his abilities were like the roots of a tree, branching out into many directions and easily identifiable.

But as of now, all of his previous powers fell under two umbrellas, and were considered sub powers of Aether and Nether manipulation.

And they opened the doors to so many more abilities that he could never have even dreamed of.

Unlike Aether, Nether is where all of Abaddon's darker powers had gone.

Nether is the true essence of the destructive dark parts of abilities like death magic, necromancy, destruction, and even his abyssal spells.

A watered down version of Nether is also what flows through the underworlds; keeping the dead souls invigorated and making sure the living stay out.

It is extremely dangerous, and the slightest mishandling would lead to an entire world going extinct before they could even fathom what was happening.

Or atleast, that was what Gabbrielle told him.

Through listening to his daughter, Abaddon was now able to fully understand why she was treating him like he was some kind of walking catastrophe.

Aether & Nether can be found in very specific environments.

Where Aether is what the gods in heaven breathe, the rulers of the underworlds spend all of their time bathing in Nether.

As such, it wasn't uncommon for the absolute oldest of the gods to know how to manipulate one of the two themselves.

Even Gabbrielle could manipulate Aether at her peak.

However, there is a vast difference between manipulating it, and generating it constantly.

Not only that, Abaddon was somehow channeling both counterparts into his figure without going pop.

It brought whole new meanings to the word 'absurd'.

This was true divine power.

"Remember father, concentration is key." Gabbrelle encouraged.

""You can do it, husband!"" Added Valerie and Eris.

Abaddon smiled imperceptibly as he concentrated on the abundant Aether energy inside of him.

To start out, he wanted to focus on freezing the patch of grass in front of him using his power over ice.

In his mind, he envisioned a ball of tangled earphones.

By pulling on the right cord, he could unravel it all and focus solely on his ice powers.

'Gently…gently…'

As Abaddon pulled the cord, he felt a cold energy envelop his clawed hand, and everything from that point on happened too fast for even him to see.

He felt the energy in the air drop to an insane degree, and opened his eyes in horror at what he had done.

On the bright side, he had done as he wanted and frozen the patch of grass in front of him.

Hooray!

However, the bad part is that he also froze everything else in Sheol when he dropped the temperature to absolute zero.

Every tree, house, rock, school building, army base, and even his own castle in the sky as well as the air that surrounded it all.

He had no doubt that the fire and nature spirits must have been quite pissed by now.

'…I fucked up.'
