Chapter 719: Easica World

"What is that crystal?" Charles asked as he looked at the head-sized blue crystal on the altar-like pillar.

"Is it a Tower Core?"

"No, it's the map crystal. We use this crystal to pinpoint the location of a plane and then use the planar Teleportation Array. In this Universal map, I've recorded most of the habitable planets. So it's easy for us to travel between planes." Runeth said as he touched the map crystal.

A second later, the surroundings started to change and soon showed a large projection that enveloped almost the whole hall-like chamber, showing stars and strange clouds.

Charles couldn't help but marvel at the intricate details of the Universal Map projected by the crystal. It displayed galaxies, nebulae, and various celestial bodies in stunning clarity. Runeth manipulated the projection, zooming in on specific clusters of stars and planets.

"We are currently in the Ringer's Demiplane, which is situated in a star cluster called 'Hezen,' only a few light years away from Edhen. I've established a network of these Planar Teleportation Arrays at more than a hundred planes, allowing me to traverse vast distances across the universe. If not for the contract, I would've long left this plane and found a way to return to human with the help of my friends from Easica World." Runeth explained, his fingers dancing across the holographic representation.

As they observed the map, Charles noticed several highlighted points, each corresponding to a different plane or dimension. Runeth pointed at one of the marked locations.

It was a giant ball of Fire.

A second later, the whole projection started to shimmer before vanishing and was replaced with a new three-dimensional map. The giant ball hovered a little above the map crystal, and surrounding it were small sphere-shaped objects.

With a light tap, Runeth zoomed towards the fourth sphere object. A bluish planet, much similar to Earth, appeared before Charles's face. But with a single glance, he noticed that it was a different planet and patiently waited.

Runeth showed a bright smile and spoke.

"This is Easica, the plane where I hail from. And that's also where we are going right now."

As he spoke, he clicked on the Easica Planet, touched the map crystal, and dismissed the hologram.

"We are going to Easica Plane now?" Charles asked in a surprised tone.

"You think I kept my secret in this domain? Would Eddie have stayed still if he had found out that I was trying to recover my strength? Although he isn't as ruthless as the ancient Mages, he is still a man who never leaves any loopholes behind. If not for Eddie dying in the Fallen World, I might still be working for Nightwind Family as a slave artifact."

Saying so, Runeth walked forward and moved towards the metallic gate that was located a few meters from them.

"I'll go and check if the Tower Core still has energy left." Saying so, he soon arrived at the metallic door, pushed it open, and entered a small 10x10-foot room.

Charles also saw a similar bluish crystal placed on a stone table through the gap and quietly stood in the same place.

Meanwhile, Runeth touched the blue crystal, activated the core by chanting a strange incantation, and finally took out a bunch of blue elemental crystals from his space ring. Although most of them were around fist-sized ones, he couldn't help but show a trace of disappointment.

"These spatial crystals aren't enough for long-distance Planar Travel. Charles, do you have some?" Runeth asked.

"Of course, I have a lot." Charles hurried towards the core room and soon arrived before him while taking out a small head-sized crystal.

"Oh? A Fairy Crystal... From the looks of it, it looks more like a peak rank Rank-6 Magical Beast." Runeth didn't ask further as he grabbed the crystal and placed it on the table.

"This should be enough for us to travel once."

"But won't we get stuck there? I have a lot of things to do here." Charles said.

"Don't worry. My secret pocket dimension should still be in the Easica Plane. As long as we find it, we will have an easier time getting out of that place and returning here." Runeth spoke as he tapped on the empty air to create runes and sent them into the Tower Core.

A few seconds later, the tower core started to shine in bright bluish color and started sucking all the elemental energy within the Perfect Crystals and even emptied the Fairy Crystal.

The next instant, a large blue icon, similar to the system interface, appeared before their eyes.

It showed different options like spells, defense, maps, and so on.

Runeth touched the spells options, scrolled down the lists of spells shown in the interface, and finally stopped at the name 'Planar Teleportation Spell.'

"Let's go," Runeth spoke as he clicked the spell and hurriedly walked back to the hall.

Charles also followed him closely, and both soon arrived at the center of the hall.

Just as they reached the center, the whole Planar Teleportation array under their feet started to shine.

Soon, a large amount of spatial energy started to gather behind them and soon formed into a spatial crack.

The spatial crack expanded, creating a swirling vortex of energy that seemed to defy the laws. The ambient spatial energy in the room intensified, and a soft hum resonated through the air. Charles and Runeth stood at the epicenter, surrounded by the luminous array of the Planar Teleportation spell.

Runeth chanted an incantation in the ancient rune language, his voice resonating with power. The runes on the floor glowed brighter, and the spatial crack widened, revealing glimpses of the darkened void.

Without hesitation, Runeth gestured for Charles to step into the portal. As they entered the swirling vortex, the energy enveloped them, distorting their surroundings and warping their senses.

A moment later, Charles and Runeth found themselves pulling into a sizeable vortex-like wormhole.

The swirling vortex of the wormhole seemed to warp the fabric of space itself, creating a surreal and mesmerizing display of colors and patterns. The currents of energy carried along Charles and Runeth, their surroundings shifting as they traversed the dimensional bridge.

The sensation was disorienting, akin to being caught in the vortex. The colors around them blurred, and spatial distortions played tricks on their senses. For a moment, it felt as if they were suspended in a cosmic dance, moving through the vast wormhole.

As the journey continued, Charles glimpsed fleeting images of other planes, each with its unique landscapes and inhabitants. The ethereal visions passed by in a surreal cascade, leaving an indelible mark on his mind.

Amidst the kaleidoscope of cosmic energies, Runeth maintained a focused demeanor, navigating the currents of the wormhole with practiced precision. He seemed attuned to the ebb and flow of the dimensional currents, guiding their passage through the interconnected spaces.

After what felt like an eternity and a fleeting moment simultaneously, the vortex began to dissipate. The transition was abrupt, and Charles found himself standing on solid ground once again. The landscape around them had transformed completely, replaced by a vibrant and familiar scenery.

The air was crisp, and the sky overhead displayed a warm palette of colors as the sun dipped below the horizon. Gentle breezes carried the scent of flora, and the sounds of nature enveloped them. They were no longer in the darkened realm of Ringer's Demiplane but had arrived in Easica, Runeth's home plane.

"Is this your home world? It looks much similar to Edhen." Charles released his wisdom power and checked the surroundings.

Runeth nodded with a nostalgic smile. "Yes, this is Easica. It might share some similarities with Edhen, but each world has its unique charm and features. Although it has been more than 20,000 years since I left this plane, it still looks the same."

They flew through a lush landscape, passing by vibrant meadows and serene rivers. The air was filled with the soothing melodies of unseen birds and the occasional glimpse of colorful creatures added to the enchantment of the surroundings.

"We should find the nearest habitable city." Saying so, they continued to travel in the air.

After traveling for more than fifteen minutes, they finally saw a magnificent city with a golden-painted circular tower at the center.

The City sprawled out beneath them, its architecture a harmonious blend of natural elements and magical craftsmanship. Gleaming towers stretched towards the sky, adorned with intricate designs that seemed to dance with ethereal energy. The streets below were bustling with diverse inhabitants, from elegant elves to sturdy dwarves, all coexisting in a vibrant tapestry of life.

"This place is supposed to be a vast forest," Runeth furrowed. "But now it seems like a land filled with different races. That's strange. I always saw humans, dwarves, and elves fighting amongst each other."

They descended gracefully towards the heart of the City, catching the attention of some curious onlookers. As they touched down near the golden tower, Charles couldn't help but feel the hum of magical energy in the air.
