The next instant, Charles and all the Legendary Creatures sensed a dreadful amount of chaos energy and retreated in shriek and panic.

Then, an incredible scene unfolded before everyone's eyes.
A towering pillar of black light enveloped the temple and shot towards the sky, sending rippling waves in all directions.
Everyone in the Fourth Layer felt a strange sense of dreadfulness and hopelessness.
Even the Legendary Unicorn, Dragon, and other five creatures showed complete submission and stood there frozen.
Charles stared at the scene unfolding before his eyes and soon noticed a gigantic spatial hole appeared in the area where the pillar of light crashed.
A beautiful black-haired figure slowly ascended from the gigantic pit and hovered 100 meters above the ground.
She calmly gazed at the thousands of legendary monsters and stepped in midair.

As if time itself turned back, the destroyed Griffon's head and body, and the already split Minotaur started to re-attach and appeared as good as new!
"Please cease your actions, Evil Goddess Vespera. We will not block your path, so please calm your anger and leave this place as soon as possible." A young child's voice came from the Unicorn and spread through the surroundings. Even though the Unicorn spoke in ancient Abyssal Language, Charles somehow managed to understand the meaning behind its words.
As soon as the Unicorn spoke, the Evil Goddess stopped her action and sharpened her gaze toward the Unicorn before making a playful grin.
"Oh? Aren't you the cute little pet of *******? Hmm? I can't pronounce her name?" A severe expression replaced her playful smile.
"Humph, I despise listening to a beast's order. A beast should lick my feet and beg me to pet, not talk back." As she spoke, she once again waved her scythe at the Minotaur.
But unlike last time, Minotaur activated its bloodline spell and covered its body with a crystalline layer of ice to protect itself from the upcoming attack.

The Golden Griffin, Unicorn, and others stood frozen, witnessing the destruction of their kin. The air was thick with a sense of despair, and Charles knew that standing against Vespera was futile in their current state.

Evil Goddess Vespera also noticed the Unicorn's action and chuckled as she gazed at the space.

Within a few seconds, all the Magical Beasts' souls got sucked into the black orb and sealed inside.
Then, the black orb slowly descended from midair and landed on Vespera's hand.
"Not enough to summon the 'Will of Abyss' and get my reward."
After storing the black orb in her dimension, she again turned her gaze towards Charles and spoke.
"Let's meet again someday." Saying so, she slowly ascended to the sky and flew in the direction where the Human Settlement was located at an incredible speed. Charles remained in the same place for a few more minutes and finally stepped out of the Astral Realm.
"What a terrifying monster! I can barely stand against one of those King Magical Beasts, but she killed them like chickens! Vespera, huh? I'll look into her history once I get back to Edhen World." He muttered as he returned to his human form and walked towards the Temple of Souls.
But right now, instead of a temple, what appeared before his eyes was a gigantic pit. Without any hesitation, he jumped into the massive pit and soon found himself landed on the Chamber of Dead.
