However, to Chef Supreme’s surprise, Li Changlin eventually brought his daughter back as though nothing had happened. It was as though Chef Supreme and not Li Changlin had been the one in the wrong!
Eventually, Chef Supreme chose family and peace and decided not to pursue the matter.
After all, this was his daughter and disciple. Since they were unwilling to change, he had to be the one to adapt!
Once Li Changlin returned to the Kitchen Fragrance Palace, not only had he failed to mellow in the slightest, but he had even caused the Spirit Savory Pig to go extinct.
Regardless of how well-adjusted and mentally stable Chef Supreme was, he still could not hold himself back from giving Li Changlin a vicious beating.
In Chef Supreme’s mind, the only intelligent decisions that Li Changlin had made in his life were marrying his daughter and becoming acquainted with Lin Yuan. Because of Li Changlin and his daughter, the Kitchen Fragrance Palace had obtained slightly more resources from Lin Yuan than the other members of the Radiance Federation’s royalty.
Iron Prison fell momentarily silent after listening to Chef Supreme’s explanation. But he soon asked, “Chef Supreme, if we help the Freedom Federation to achieve its goal, what will we do if they turn on us and force us to stay?”
Chef Supreme was not eager to continue the conversation with Iron Prison. However, Iron Prison was his only partner who had come to the Freedom Federation with him, so Chef Supreme had no choice but to suppress his irritation.
“What the Mirror God and the God of Fools want is for the Freedom Federation to develop in a stable manner so they can make up for their losses. That’s their true goal! Hence, there’s no way they are only after a year of ceasefire with the marsh world.
“Their only alternative is to abandon the Freedom Federation’s current territory and shift their operations to another location. Moreover, we have the entire marsh world standing behind us. If the God of Fools and Mirror God try to harm us in any way, we can seek help directly from the marsh world.”

The Mirror God and God of Fools had assumed the Radiance Federation would be arguing back and forth with Du Miao over the resources.

When Du Miao heard the Mirror God’s instruction, he knew that despite saying they were going to discuss the matter, they had already agreed to the Radiance Federation’s request.
If they agreed to the request, the Radiance Federation and Azure Federation could obtain numerous resources from the Freedom Federation, which did not benefit its development in any way.
