2349 I Want All the Books!
Lin Yuan’s finger tapped continuously on the surface of the table while he spoke.

For all these years, it seemed as though Vine Source had been butting heads with him. But the truth was that privately, Vine Source was even more submissive to him than Mountain Ridge Source and Carnage Source were.

He could not easily control Vine Source’s life, but Lin Yuan could.

It was clear that Vine Source wanted to earn Lin Yuan’s praise to earn even more profits.
It was clear from how he distributed so many of the big and small source fruit sprouts to the seven of them that Lin Yuan was not the stingy kind. When one worked for such a person, praise was surely followed by rewards.
When Lin Yuan heard what Vine Source said, he injected 1,000 units of pure source-type power into Vine Source’s body to compliment him.
Next, Lin Yuan issued his orders, “Besides increasing your power like what I just told you to do, you will help me to gather marsh soil. Marsh soil is useful to me. I also need these crystals.”
Lin Yuan took out Law Crystals and World Crystals and placed them on the table.
Vine Source’s expression soured when Lin Yuan mentioned that he needed marsh soil.
No other type of lifeform in the marsh world needed marsh soil more than carnivorous plants.
But having just been rewarded by Lin Yuan, Vine Source decided to give all of the top-grade marsh soil he had to Lin Yuan. After all, marsh soil would never be as beneficial to him as pure source-type power was!
He possessed the most marsh soil of the seven of them.
Lin Yuan had rewarded him for just expressing his stance. It was likely that Lin Yuan would reward him again after receiving so much marsh soil.
As for the two types of crystals that Lin Yuan just showed them, Vine Source had more than he could ever want of those!
When the lifeforms from the marsh world died, the only value that those who had not been Apostles had was their source crystals.
Although the source crystals could not be absorbed, they made for a decent luxury item.
The other six shared Vine Source’s thoughts.
Besides Evil Source, who had not collected many source crystals and tossed away many that had been useless, the rest all had a fairly well-padded storage of source crystals.
Once the seven of them responded with their agreement, Lin Yuan was silently amazed.
Now that he had taken control of the seven of them, it was almost too easy to glean resources from the marsh world!
Lin Yuan gave each of them 2,000 units of pure source-type power to show that he approved of their decisions.
Now that he had given them positive reinforcement, it was time to switch up his tactics to negative reinforcement.

Evil Source had obtained significant benefits ever since she joined Lin Yuan. She had not only managed to gain the upper hand against the six of them, but Lin Yuan even elevated her from her original ranking of 8th to 5th.
Eternal Source and Vine Source had all expressed their stances, and it was now Evil Source’s turn to do so.
Vine Source had called Lin Yuan’ Master’ even though he was stronger than her. Evil Source no longer felt unwilling to call Lin Yuan’ Master’.
“I agree with Master’s request. We are now all loyal to him and are his subordinates. It only makes sense that all the books go to him! I think anyone who doesn’t want to hand out his book is trying to plot something nefarious. Those who harbor nefarious thoughts must die!”
Evil Source shifted her gaze away from the six of them and knelt in front of Lin Yuan on one knee as she said, “Master, if any of them are unwilling to listen to your order, please boost me again and give me the chance to remove the traitor!”
Evil Source spoke loudly and sternly. She completely ignored the fact that she had just betrayed the integrity of the others.
How dare you make a stance on our behalf when you don’t even have your book? What do you mean those who refuse must be trying to plot something nefarious? What a pile of dog crap!
