Edwards Avalon: Main character. Reincarnated and transmigrated to this new cultivation world. Prince of Avalon kingdom. Soul bound to the Fantasy System. Plans to murder the mysterious man that caused the invasion of Scale kingdom. Will stop at nothing. (Alive)

Raikou (Shadow Wolf): Fought Ed and both of them almost died, as they used a soul contract to survive. He cried after the death of Eri and the orphans. Ed's the oldest and most faithful companion. (Alive)
Suika (Nephilim slime): Ed's companion from the Gacha Function. She can take the form of a little girl and is jealous of other slimes. No slime will take her Ed. She loves Emilia. She learned the pain of losing someone after seeing Eri's dead body. (Alive)

Griffin: Best disciple of Glory sect. Rival of Ed and Eric and became the youngest sect Elder. He envied Ed's position of a prince but came to understand how much he worked hard to become strong. (Alive)
Oliver: Orphan that saved Ed and became a disciple. He strives to become strong enough to protect Ed and the people he considers close to him. (Alive)
Illusion man: a man hired by Blood sect to control Avalon behind the scenes by brainwashing Eric, the next heir to the throne. He was stopped by Ed and later fought both Ed and Griffin. He didn't kill them and was later killed by Arthur. (Alive)
Leonard: Arthur's old friend and rival. General of Avalon kingdom. His loyalty transcends common sense, as he risks his life by traveling to hostile kingdoms in order to secure Avalon's future. He considers Arthur like a brother and his children like his own. (Alive)
Alice, her father Eric, and her mother: A family of three handling an inn in Claw city of Scale kingdom. Ed saved Alice from a noble, later known as Norris. (Last time Ed checked up on them, they were alive)
Norris Aaragon: Tried to forcefully take Alice with him, berated Emilia and her family and considers Ed a trash noble. Used his influence to help Blood sect infiltrate the academy, causing many people to die. Later, he became the king of Aaragon. (Dead)
Emilia Aaragon: Princess of Aaragon kingdom and cousin of Norris. Met Ed as she was being attacked by bandits. Now, she travels alongside him. (Alive)
Hayato Nakamura: Ed's teammate and best friend. His swordsmanship is praiseworthy and he's the heir to the Ryuu kingdom. (Alive)
Ellie Tigris: Noble from the kingdom of Beastmen. Attacked Ed during school exam, and later learned that he held back. She strives to become strong enough to knock him away when he is serious. (Alive)
Stephanie Schwarz: Princess of Weiss kingdom. Proficient at using Earth magic enough to create gigantic earth golems. She convinced her grandfather to move the bulk of their forces to help Ed with his plan. (Alive)
Eri (and the orphan children): Ed's siblings by adoption. Longed to join him in his adventures and return back to Avalon with him. (Dead: killed during the invasion of Scale kingdom's capital)
Uther Scale Pendragon: King of scale kingdom. Fought next to Ed's grandfather and Hayato's great-grandfather against the master of Blood sect 100 years ago. He wasn't able to have a child until his later years, which is why he dotes so much on his daughter. (Alive)
Alice Scale Pendragon: Princess of Scale kingdom. Can use the legendary sword Excalibur (Lacks practice, so she uses a normal sword until she can control it better) (Alive)
Dean: General of Scale kingdom. (Alive)
Harry: Teacher of Ed during the academy. Regrets not being strong enough to prevent the tragedy of the capital. Holds respect for Ed. (Alive)
Unnamed teacher of Class A: Harry's rival and a trustworthy man (I think). Doesn't have much presence. (Alive)
Gobuta (Demon Lord Ogre): Ed's companion, started as a Goblin and now he's here. With a delinquent personality, he doesn't like it when enemies try to outdo him. He respects Ed due to the amount of strength he has. (Alive)
Garu (Lycan): Ed's companion and started as a Goblin. He hates humans except those that Ed likes. He loves Ed the most as he says 'Ed understands him best'. (Alive)
Goburou (Vampire): Ed's companion and started as a Goblin. Keeps to himself most of the time, but when he talks, he talks to tease someone (usually it's Ed). (Alive)
Leon Avalez: Prince of Avalez kingdom and Ed's friend and rival. Likes Liza. (Alive)
Liza Titan: Princess of Titan kingdom. Likes Leon. (Alive)
Charlie Kaeborg: Prince of Kaeborg kingdom. Carefree and laid back. (Alive)
Mysterious man: Took the place of Class C's teacher and infiltrated the academy. Used students as a diversion to hide the invasion on the capital. Everyone felt repulsed seeing him. (Unknown)
Lieutenant of Scale kingdom: Ordered the soldiers to retreat and leave the slum residents on their own. Had he not, Eri and the little orphans could have survived. (Dead: killed in one punch by Ed)
John (the Fox): Previously a server on a ship. Thanks to Ed's generous tip, he managed to turn his life around and become a successful merchant. He now owns the same ship company where he worked. (Alive)
Siegfried (Elder Lich): Fought Ed and his companions. He joined Ed as his monster and considers his life to be the best it had ever been. Although he doesn't need to eat, he likes Ed's cooking. He's self-conscious about being an undead, but Ed always reassures him. He likes to call Ed with weird sounding titles (Alive or dead. I don't know, he's an undead!)
Mehen (The Great Serpent): Boss of the ninth floor in the Tower of Origin. He lost hope in life due to the constant deaths he experienced. Ed promised that he will take him away from his life where he is cursed to live and die. (Cycle of Death and Rebirth)
Johan: The grandson of Blood sect's master. He met Ed in the tower and acted friendly towards him (Alive)
Agumon (Digimon): Ed's companion. His cheerful personality makes him the best crime partner of Merry. He loves Ed and always follows after him. (Alive)
Merry: Angel and Eleventh-floor boss. She joined Ed as his monster and enjoys her life with him now. Her name reflects her cheerful and happy nature. (Alive)
Edmund: Due to being betrayed by a member of the Central government, he became a slave to some bandits. After Ed's plan killed the bandits, he was saved. He killed the man who betrayed him and got Ed's information. After traveling to Avalon he helped them while Ed was in the second tower. He became an Elder by Ed's recommendation. (Alive)
Noble of Scale kingdom: Enraged by his son's death, he researched all about Ed and attacked his family while Avalon was at war. He kidnapped Bella but was stopped by Ed. (Dead)
Blood sect general: Ambushed Leonard in one of the wars against Avalon and severed both his hands. (Dead along with the other two generals)
Lilliana: Leader of the five (six) stars and user of Space magic. Nothing of her body remains due to Ed's attack (Dead along with all the other stars)
Bard: Met Ed before as a shop owner. Later, he helped Ed secure some cheese. Thanks to Ed's scan function, he managed to know about his situation and offered him a seat of an Elder at Glory sect. Ed healed his broken QI center. (Alive)

No-bō: The man that caused the tragedy of the capital of Scale kingdom two years ago, as well as the one responsible for the death of Eri and the orphans.
