Shi Bufan was forced to allow Zhen Yuanbai to have his way. He reached over and touched his forehead before pulling the blankets over him, saying, “What’s up? Do you want to sleep?”
“I’ve already slept the entire day.”
Shi Bufan sat by the bedside and touched the soft and clean blankets, testing, “Then why don’t I come and watch a movie with you?”

He woke up to his parents knocking on the door and when they noticed that the lights weren’t on in the room, they walked over and knocked on Zhen Yuanbai’s door. The latter softly hummed and felt as if he agreed to letting them in, but in reality, he didn’t make any noises.
Meanwhile, Shi Bufan sat up quickly and covered Zhen Yuanbai. He got up and went to open the door. When Qin Ying saw him, he was a bit stunned. “Fanfan... why are you here?”
“I’m here to do homework with him.” Shi Bufan moved a bit to the side and said, “He has a fever and just took antipyretic. He’s asleep right now.”
Zhen Pingjin immediately looked over and asked, “How did he get a fever?”
Qin Ying was already two steps in and she reached to touch Zhen Yuanbai’s forehead. She turned the lights on and Zhen Yuanbai opened his eyes from the eye-piercing light. Qin Ying suddenly knitted her eyebrows and reached over to prop his chin up. Seeing the red dots, she asked, “Does it itch?”

On the way to the hospital, Qin Ying also had Zhen Yuanbai wear his hat and mask, and whatnot. In the end, only his ears weren’t covered. Zhen Yuanbai rarely got sick. Whenever he was sick, he felt as though his parents loved him very much, but once he recovered, it felt different.
Shi Bufan sat in the passenger seat and Shi Bufan glanced back, listening to Qin Ying talk softly to Zhen Yuanbai. Then, he quietly shifted his gaze to the front.
When they arrived, Qin Ying and Zhen Pingjin split up to get things done quicker. One stayed by their son’s side while the other went to go through the procedures. No one tended to Shi Bufan. Though Zhen Yuanbai paid more attention to him, in the blink of an eye, Shi Bufan disappeared from his line of sight. “Eh? Where did Shi Bufan go?”
“Call him and ask later on.” Qin Ying followed him into the ward and personally got him hooked up with an IV drop, saying gently, ‘Does it hurt?”
“No.”
“Good boy.” Qin Ying touched his head and asked, “Have you eaten dinner?”
“Shi Bufan ordered takeout for me.”
Qin Ying smiled and said, “Yesterday, I thought that he bullied you. Oh right. What’s his phone number? I’ll dial him for you and ask where this kid ran off to.”

Zhen Pingjin also nodded along. Zhen Yuanbai revealed quite a proud look and Shi Bufan glanced at him, making Zhen Yuanbai look down. Shi Bufan said, “Then I’ll be heading back.”

Shi Bufan walked over and tugged his collar, revealing the little bumps on his neck. “I have an allergic reaction and this is the medicine the doctor prescribed. Please hook me up with an IV drip.”
“You can’t enter either. Go and sit there.”
Shi Bufan glanced at Qiu Jing and the latter hurriedly went to push the nurse, saying, “Sister, you have to prescribe the medicine. He has a serious allergic reaction. If the bumps grow in his throat, he’ll suffocate...”
