Madison thought about it for a second before nodding her head in agreement. If it was normal times, she might have the idea of rejecting Roland's proposal. However, due to the recent incidents, she was truly afraid of going home alone now. Especially since the road that she has been using was not far away from the arson incident and the Bryan incident.
"Alright, let's just wait for a bit." Roland said as he fetched out his phone to message Janine.
He had already informed her earlier about the visit to the hospital, and even told her not to wait for him at the school as he might just go directly to Sparkling Buds after the hospital visit.
However, when Roland was on the bus earlier, Janine replied that her class was not over yet and that she was still at school. Hence, Roland informed her that he will return to school later.
After informing Janine that he was already at the parking lot, Roland also informed Madison that they are waiting for a friend.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital.
The doctor sighed in relief after checking Bryan's condition.
"Mr. Brown, I guarantee you that his injury had not worsened by any means. What he felt earlier was just a normal pain reaction after the sudden movement of the aggravated area. Like what I said earlier, he will be able to fully recover in a month's time. I just hope that the incident earlier won't be repeated as we might not be as lucky as earlier where his injury did not worsen due to the sudden movements."
Councilor Brown nodded his head and stated calmly, "Don't worry, there won't be any next time."
The doctor nodded his head in understanding and immediately left the room in a hurry like before.
After the doctor left the room, the guards who had already returned earlier were now standing neatly not far away from the bed.
One of them approached Councilor Brown and handed him the cane that he threw out earlier.
Receiving the cane, Councilor Brown went towards the chair and sat in a position that was the same as earlier.
"Tell me about that kid," he said while facing Bryan who had already calmed down.
Bryan did not hesitate and immediately blabbered all he knew about Roland, even adding some spices to his stories to make him look bad in front of his father.
"His name is Roland. He is just an orphan and was just lucky enough to enroll in Fore City College due to him being a little smart. That kid has been insulting me since the start of the first semester, calling me names such as me being dumb and foolish. He even said that I must have inherited my dumbness from my family and that this is a unique genetic problem within our family."
"Hmmp!" Councilor Brown scoffed upon hearing those words.
"Dad, Roland is also a previous employee of one of our Mc Jonald branches here in Fore City. However, I already fired him on the spot after learning that he had been cooperating with that fatso manager and had been smuggling some products for more income."
"Right, after firing him and that fatso, they are now working in that newly established fast-food restaurant, the Sparkling Buds which is very popular right now due to the viral Dissbook post."
"That Sparkling Buds again?" Councilor Brown upon hearing the mention of this newly established business again.
Earlier, he had already speculated that the Sparkling Buds might have some connection to Bryan's incident. However, he doesn't have any concrete evidence and was just planning to create one if the real culprit were still not found after a week.
If before, Councilor Brown only had some hunch, now, he was at least seventy percent sure that Sparkling Buds was behind Bryan's incident. Especially since Roland, and that manager were now working in that restaurant. The motive was also clear if it was truly them. They might have formed a grudge to Bryan after he fired them from work. This might be their way of doing their revenge.
Bryan continued to hurl another batch of bad 'reviews' for Roland. Councilor Brown scoffed and listened attentively to Bryan's report.
"Right dad, don't you have a lot of connections in Fore City College? Can you make it so that Roland won't be able to go to school any longer? Please?" Bryan stated with a pout on his face. Everytime he wanted something badly, he would just do this move and he knew that his father would surely give it to him.
"Hmpp! Don't worry about it, I know what to do. Just focus on recuperating. Oh right, how was the effect of the medicine that I gave you before?" Councilor Brown answered confidently.
"About that… I seemed to have become stronger. But the difference is not that big. Right, Kyle also consumed the same medicine and his physique seemed to have become a lot stronger compared to before."
