Hearing Roland's domineering words, Butler Frank nodded his head in agreement.
Even he could agree that not investing in Sparkling Buds early was a bad idea. With Roland's grand plan for the future, it would be a miracle if the Sparkling Buds did not rise to an equal footing, or even beyond a big company like Marc Jonalds.
"Affirmative, Master Roland," Butler Frank said.
"After two days and they still haven't made any move, just tell them directly that they can just buy a franchise in the future and pay us royalties every month," Roland laughed as he said.
'Martin… What a disappointment!' Roland shook his head as he thought.
"Right, Mr. Frank, sent out some invitations for a bid later to the major contractor companies regarding the production facility that we will build in Tree Town." Roland instructed as he sipped a cup of water.
"The details for the bids are like this…"
Roland then proceeded to recount to Mr. Frank his plans for the production facility that will be built in Tree Town. This was a big project so it was better to contact contractors to build the project in a comprehensive manner. This facility might even take a long time before it could be completed so they must prepare this very well.
This was considered a big investment that would connect all the projects he would do in the future. Others might think that creating a production facility this early for a restaurant was quite hasty, but Roland didn't think so. He thought that preparing for the eventual future was the right thing to do.
Butler Frank kept on nodding as he listened to Roland. He also did not forget to take notes, lest he forget some details later due to his old age.
In fact, he was surprised that Roland was very knowledgeable about this process. Most of the time, youngsters would not know such knowledge as during their teen years, their time would mostly be spent on hanging out with friends or partying.
What he did not know was that Roland did not have such privileges before. His time before was mostly spent on working part-time, studying and accompanying Anna. He knew about contractors when he saw some advertisements in a newspaper back then. He got curious about it so he searched about them in the library and learned how important it was to have them when constructing a big project.
Up until now, Butler Frank and Housekeeper Stella still thought that Roland came from an ancient family who sent out their youngling to explore the outside world.
After Roland provided Butler Frank the details for the upcoming project, he finally told Stacey to get ready. They would be checking the ten hectare land now while it was still early. If nothing wrong happened, they should be able to come back before noon.
However, what he did not expect was for Stacey to back out at the last second. She was the one who was enthusiastic about going along with him towards Tree Town. He did not expect that she would opt out now.
After asking the reason why, she said that the restaurant was very good and that they needed their help there.
As a manager, she usually doesn't have to do anything other than sit around, manage the restaurant and do some paperwork. With that, she could also afford to slack off and even let her assistant manager do the work for her. However, she doesn't want to do it.
Firstly, this was Roland's business and that slacking off meant that she would be disappointing Roland as well. Secondly, it was not on her work ethics to slack off, if it was her duty, then she would do it. If she can help in other areas, she would help to make the business strive even more.
The first two days of Sparkling Buds were quite busy. Even she herself did not expect that its popularity would explode this early. She thought that they must grasp this opportunity and not waste it. Even if Roland allowed her to slack off, Stacey truly doesn't dare as she knew this time was vital for the development of the Sparkling Buds.
After some time, Roland finally nodded his head in understanding.
At this moment, he realized one thing. Perhaps, in the future, if the business continues to grow well, seeing each other might become a rare occurrence due to how busy they would become at that time.
Realizing that, Roland shook his head, 'I just won't let that happen then.'
'In the future, I'll make sure to always set a time so that we can hang out together,' he declared inside his heart.
"How about this? Why don't you let Janine accompany you instead? She can drive you there as well so that you just need to relax on the way there," Stacey suggested.
Roland nodded his head. That was only natural. Janine was his driver. If Roland doesn't feel like driving, he would just call for her to swap. Earlier, he was supposed to drive Stacey, but since Stacey didn't want to go, his mood to drive died off as well.
"Alright, we'll drop you off at Sparkling Buds along the way then," Roland stated as he went to the garage to choose a car.
Right now, the huge garage of Pure Dew Villa was slowly getting filled.
Inside, there was the Ramborghini Sian, the Budi R8, the Ronda Civic which came with the villa, and then the two Royota Velos that he bought in Brine City for One and the others. However, even with that, the huge garage was still not half-way full.
It was apparent how huge the garage alone was. The architect of the villa must really consider the owner of this villa to be extremely rich and can afford a lot of cars, else, why would they build such a large garage?
Anyways, Roland walked around the cars and considered the journey to Tree Town. Janine was behind him, ready to get the car that he might fancy to take out today.
This was the first time that Roland decided to choose a car to be taken out. Usually, he would just take out the first one he saw upon entering the garage. However, he obviously could not do that now.
The first one in his line of sight was the Sian. However, the road own transportation, Roland just realized he actually doesn't have that choice than to bring the civic along.
going to Tree Town was uneven and rough. Bringing the Sian and even the R8 there would be akin to suicide.
Hence, in hindsight, he only has two types of options to choose from, the Ronda Civic and the Royota Veloz.
And since One and the others would use the two Veloz for their own transportation, Roland just realized he actually doesn't have that choice than to bring the civic along.
His car collection wasn't that big yet. He still doesn't feel troubled about what car to ride for the day.
He shook his head and said, "Let's use the Civic this time. The road to Tree Town is uneven and rough, I'm afraid the Sian and the Budi might get damaged if we use them."
Janine nodded her head. She took the key from the drawer where every key to the car was kept and started the engine of the Civic.
Meanwhile, Roland turned around and waited with Stacey in front of the villa.
One and the others also went in to start the two Veloz. As they would be going far away, Roland decided to leave One and the others behind to protect Stacey.
Although they would only be away for a short period of time, Roland doesn't want to leave everything to chance. There was simply no guarantee that no one would cause trouble this time.
As for him, he was confident with his strength. He was now level 3, if he wanted to, he might even be able to dodge a bullet fired in close distance. But of course, Roland confidence still stemmed from the fact that he has a System.
Worst comes to worst, he could just buy some skills in the System store depending on the situation.
All in all, he was only worried about Stacey's safety. So he decided to leave One and the other nine guards for her.
After a while, the Civic and the two Veloz finally exited the garage. The five seater sedan and the seven seater suv gradually came into everyone's view.
Noticing the time, Roland realized that it was already half an hour to eight in the morning.
Janine went out of the driver seat and allowed Roland to drive, while Stacey went and entered the passenger seat after Roland opened the door for her. For convenience, he also opened the back seat for Janine before he went in the driver seat.
After communicating with Roland, Two, who was driving the black veloz stepped on the accelerator and allowed the car to drive in front of the civic.
Roland then followed behind, as they drove off by the escort of the two suv's.
