[Tear Grass: A normal cogon grass that has mutated after coming into contact with the Purple Turtle's feces for a long time. All it takes was for one stalk of normal grass to mutate to make a land inhabitable by mortal creatures. Troublesome to deal with. Will even affect Advance creatures if the numbers surpass a certain margin.]

The description of the Tear Grass flabbergasted Roland. At first, he thought that it was a grass with a very impressive origin for it to have such a magical effect. However, it turns out that it just became that way due to a turtle's feces?

Were turtle's feces that magical nowadays?

Roland turned to boogle and tried to search for information regarding the Purple Turtle. However, there was no result about such a creature at all, meaning that there was no such turtle that existed and was recorded.

However, the System was always reliable. There was no way that it would be wrong about the information it provided to him.

He guessed that the reason the Purple Turtle was not mentioned in the internet was because it was a creature beyond a human's standard and that no one has met such a creature yet.

Or better yet… The information was probably hidden by the government or some kind of unknown organization?

If his second conjecture was true, then the chances of there being people who have already surpassed the human limits like himself was extremely high.

Perhaps, they truly existed but have hidden themselves from the masses to prevent panic? Or there might be another reason that he could not think of yet.

Arriving at such a conclusion made Roland worried a little. If he had not encountered the System, he would have remained oblivious to such dangerous things.

Roland also concluded that this world was not actually as simple as it looks.

Anyways, since the Purple Turtle was of a higher-grade creature and that he could not find any information about it, Roland decided to ignore it for now and just focus on the current problem. After all, for the turtle's feces to make a normal grass mutate, it would surely not be a simple creature either.

The Botanist Knowledge, aside from allowing him to know any plants at glance, it also provided him with more detailed explanations at how to harvest, cull, and even plant this kind of plants as well as their various uses.

The Tear Grass for example, aside from it being a pest, it could also be used as a way to harm others. For example, it could be grounded into medicine and the said medicine could be used to make normal people shed tears without stopping for an entire day.

Although the effect was more or less the same as being around a bunch of Tear Grass, the fact that the medicine concoction could be carried around was a fearsome weapon that no mortal would dare to go against.

The thing about Tear Grasses was that the moment you pull them out, the 'tear' at the tip of the blade would immediately retreat back to the culm, making it unusable after it was pulled out. However, with the right technique and methods, an apothecary could ground the blade of the Tear Grass and make it into that concoction.

Of course, as Roland was not an apothecary and that the Botanist knowledge only involves plant related knowledge and not how to concoct medicines out of them, he was not able to make such a medicine yet.

Anyways, that was not the focus of Roland yet. The thing that he wanted was for the Tear Grasses to disappear on the face of his island, else it would just be a wasted island if the Tear Grasses remained.

The culling method was actually pretty simple.

All one needed to do was to mix sand that was exposed to sea for a long time, sea water, and grounded seaweeds of any kind and then ground them all together into tiny bits until you get a liquid murky substance.

After mixing the right amount and volume, one could then pour the said mixture at the root of the Tear Grass, let it absorb the mixture, and after a week, the Tear Grass would truly die and would no longer be able to sprout at the same spot again.

Of course, if the Tear Grass around it was not dealt with completely, there were still chances that the Tear Grass would grow again so it was better to get rid of them all in one go to avoid future problems.

Knowing that the island was so big, Roland knew that he would be able to accomplish the task of getting rid of all of the Tear Grass in fell swoop.

He thought of hiring a lot of workers and let them do the work for him but first, he must ensure that he would be able to make the mixture first before and ensure that it was working before he would hire some workers.

After all, it would be pretty embarrassing if he did something in such a grandeur only for it to end utterly in failure.

With that being said, Roland returned to the yacht and informed Stacey about his discovery of the Tear Grass. Upon hearing such a matter, even Stacey was also flabbergasted as she also did not think that such a plant would actually exist.

Of course, Roland did not tell her the other discoveries he had including how the plant had mutated due to a turtle's feces. He only told her the information that he had read from that website.

However, Stacey's mind has already read enough fantasy novels for it to work wonders and arrive at a conclusion seemingly similar to Roland.

Since Stacey's eyes were still feeling sore at the moment due to the tears that kept on coming out earlier, Roland did not hear her set foot on the island again.

He on the other hand went back to the shore after bridging some measuring equipment that could help him make the Tear Grass culling mixture.

The ratio for the mixture was that every cup of seawater must be mixed with 100 grams of sand, and 10 grams of any kind of normal grounded seaweed.

The mixing of the ingredients was not that strict. Roland tore some seaweed he found into pieces and threw them at the large basin together with the other two ingredients.

He then mixed them and allowed them to become murky green before deciding that it should probably be enough.

Once he was done, he carried the basin containing the mixture and directly poured the contents into the Tear Grasses.

The moment the murky mixture came into contact with the Tear Grass, the 'tear' at the tip of their blade immediately retreated as the entire grass trembled a little before it let out some bits of smoke.

Seeing the whole process, Roland nodded his head, satisfied with his work. Now, he only needed to wait for an entire week and see if it was effective.

Roland made another five batches of mixture and poured them on different spots full of Tear Grass. After doing that, he returned to the Divine Destiny yacht to make lunch for Stacey.
