Chapter 24: Three Main Attributes

When they saw the two boys square off, the students who originally wanted to mediate the fight and stop the boys from fighting lost their courage. They even took a few steps back.

Two Transcended Gamers, who they could not afford to offend, were about to fight.

Even if only the physical attributes were taken into account, normal people would only be oppressed. If they went to mediate the fight, there was a high chance that the duo would be fine while those who had interfered would be sent to the hospital.

The thin boy was most likely someone who had been bullied since he was young because of his frailty. Fortunately, he did well in his studies, so he made it into a National Key University.

However, he ended up running into another well-built person who was used to being unreasonable in university. At that moment, he flew into a rage. He had to tolerate all the injustice he suffered in the past because he could not win, but after he had become a Transcended Gamer, his physical attributes had become much better. Hence, there was no way he would tolerate injustice any longer.

But he did not expect that the other person would be just like him. The tall boy was also not a normal human…

Yet the thin boy would definitely not cower. The two were really about to fight.

Qin Guan swept a glance at the duo’s levels. They were both at level 2, and the numbers behind their level were both fifteen.

He pondered over the situation. He would have no problem in settling the fight between the two students. In fact, he could even fight the two of them at once. After all, his reaction time, control over his body, his technique, and everything else had long since reached a standard high enough to dominate over others.

The trial set at the highest difficulty might temporarily not allow him to gain more rewards, but the improvement of his skills alone could allow him to subjugate normal people.

The only problem was that once he changed into the useless person, his outer appearance would become too embarrassing. However, he really could not care about that in this sort of situation.

The duo had already began their brawl. Surprisingly, the thin boy was not at a disadvantage. The two exchanged tit-for-tat blows, revealing that there was no difference between their strengths.

Both of them could withstand many blows, and neither of them had any unique fighting techniques to speak of. So… the fight had no aesthetics whatsoever. In fact, it was so appalling that it was tragic…

Qin Guan wanted to make a statement. He had thought that the duo were complete amateurs, but he did not expect them to be so horrible…

‘How did this sort of people manage to clear Medium Mode? Is it that easy?’

Qin Guan was about to separate the duo when a confident voice came from behind him. “Stop fighting!”

He turned his head and looked at the speaker. ‘What the heck? Isn’t that Professor Li?!’

Right before his eyes was Professor Li. He held his characteristic thermos flask in his left hand, and in his right hand was his lesson plan as well as his textbook. Clearly, he was on his way to give his lecture.

The two students were too engrossed in their fight and did not stop just because someone had barked at them to do so.

Professor Li scowled. He shoved his thermos flask, lesson plan, and textbook into Qin Guan’s arms. “You there, help me hold these for a while.”

Qin Guan took the items with a dumbfounded expression. ‘Professor Li, what are you doing?’

Then, Professor Li walked straight to the duo as his clothes turned into a tailored suit. He grabbed the thin boy with his left hand and yanked him backwards, throwing him ten feet back.

The tall boy had already thrown his fist and could not pull it back now. But with one kick, Professor Li sent him flying ten feet as well. The young man crashed into a wall.

Qin Guan had only one thought, ‘Excuse me?!’

Professor Li remained stony-faced. “Go to the Department of Student Affairs and get your demerit points. If you fight again, you will be expelled.”

The duo was completely stunned, and it was especially so for the tall boy. He was struck dumb. He felt like his worldview, outlook on life, and values had all been overturned.

Once the matter was settled, Professor Li took back the thermos flask, lesson plan, and textbook from Qin Guan. He then changed back into his real physical body.

Qin Guan rubbed his eyes. He did not quite believe what he just saw.

‘What just happened? Professor Li is already over fifty, but he sent two Transcended Gamers who started the game as athletes flying…’

He sneakily looked at the dialog box above Professor Li’s head and was left completely stunned.

[Lvl 15, 58]

Qin Guan quietly followed Professor Li into the classroom while wondering whether something had gone wrong with the world…

He suddenly felt that Professor Li had become taller and nobler. And he could even imagine shiny words above Professor Li’s head right then—Model of Virtue.

‘No, wait. What’s going on? Why is Professor Li’s level so much higher than the others’?’

Qin Guan simply could not wrap his head around this. ‘This doesn’t make sense. Professor Li is old, so just how did he manage to clear a trial like Jump!!?

‘And what’s the meaning of the number behind his level?’

Qin Guan believed that even if the number was not fighting power, it was definitely something that was similar to it. Based on how Professor Li overpowered the two students, the fifty-eight was a very appropriate number for him.

During lecture, Xiao Qiang wanted to chat with him, but Qin Guan sat properly and listened to class attentively. He would even nod occasionally to pretend that he understood the lecture.

Xiao Qiang was a little puzzled. “Brother-in-law, what’s up with you today? Why are you suddenly so studious?”

Qin Guan ignored him while he chuckled in his heart. ‘You are ignorant of true power…’

When Qin Guan went out for lunch with Xiao Qiang in the afternoon, he still did not know what was going on.

‘Why did two people with such a huge difference in physique had no difference in terms of power when they became Transcended Gamers?

‘Why is it that once Professor Li became a Transcended Gamer, he became powerful enough to dominate two students with just his strength alone?

‘This doesn’t make sense…

‘Could it be that when we receive our bodies from the trial, our attributes are only related to the characters we started the game with and have nothing to do with our bodies in reality?

‘Yet how did Professor Li reach level 15 when an extraordinarily talented person like Su Xiaoyu is only level 3? Besides, no matter how talented a person is, the system has only launched two trials so far. How did he level up then?’

Xiao Qiang did not know what Qin Guan was thinking about. He thought that he was just bothered by his inability to clear the trial, so he began to comfort him. He even went as far as to choose his words carefully.

“Brother-in-law, you shouldn’t be too anxious. I think Jump!! doesn’t require too much skill. You will definitely clear it if you work a little harder…”

“I, uh… cleared it.”

Xiao Qiang was a little surprised before he became incredibly happy. “Really? I knew you’d be able to do it! Hey, why don’t you transform and let me take a look?”

“… How about no?”

‘There are plenty of students walking around the cafeteria, you know? You want me to transform into a useless person before all of them?

‘You crazy?’

Xiao Qiang scratched his head. “I really don’t understand why you’re so shy about this.”

They talked about nothing and everything while walking to the cafeteria when Qin Guan saw two rows of information at the bottom left corner of his vision.

[Three basic attributes: Strength (STR), Spirit (SPR), and Second Sight (SS) have been activated.]

[Hidden attributes are now in effect.]

Qin Guan was stunned for a moment, and so was Xiao Qiang. Clearly, he was communicating with his mobile AI system in his head.

Qin Guan noticed that a new UI had appeared before his eyes. Once he clicked it, the three attributes his system had mentioned popped up.

[STR: 5]

[SPR: 5]

[SS: 5]

[Charm (hidden attribute): Somewhat handsome]

[Lucky (hidden attribute): Sometimes good, sometimes bad] fre(e)webnovel

[Talent (hidden attribute): Extremely smart]

[Speciality (hidden attribute): None at the moment]

[Overall evaluation: Eh… It’s okay.]

Qin Guan was instantly baffled. ‘What does this overall evaluation mean?

“‘Eh… It’s okay?’

‘Why is it so hard to get your approval, you stupid system? How hard is it to just say “It’s okay” like a normal person?!’
