Feng Tianyi knew that he could not force Zhang Jiren to reveal himself to Tang Moyu at the moment. He must have reasons why he refused to look his twin sister in the eyes. As a horrible person in the past, Feng Tianyi understood where Zhang Jiren was coming from.
If he hadn't gotten involved in an accident years ago and came to know about Tang Moyu and his children's existence, Feng Tianyi could already imagine just what kind of horrible things he would put them into.

"Thank you." He heard Zhang Jiren sighed in relief. "I'm not sure if there would be a day I would be able to face her as her twin brother, but one thing is for sure, I won't let anyone harm her ever again."
Couldn't Zhang Jiren be a little more selfish and reveal himself to Tang Moyu? That seemed so unlikely. Feng Tianyi's eyes softened. It was just too bad that he would have to keep this a secret from his wife, not only for her sake but as well as Zhang Jiren's.

"Moyu and I have decided to increase our security personnel and move to my family's ancestral home. This should make it harder for them to get close with her and to the twins." The devil clasped his hands together and regarded the man sitting across him.
He had seen both photos of Tang Lixue and Yan Qiuyu before, and while his wife took after their birth mother's physical appearance, Zhang Jiren had gotten the fair share of traits from both sides. It was surprising how the other Zhangs hadn't realized that Zhang Jiren wasn't truly part of the family.
Aside from Zhang Xianzhe, Feng Tianyi wondered if Zhang Wuying was aware of her nephew's real identity.
"The person who killed your mother… it wasn't Zhang Wuying." As if thinking about her made Feng Tianyi remember, he suddenly blurted out of the blue, catching Zhang Jiren off-guard.
"W-what?" Zhang Jiren looked at his brother-in-law with confusion. "How is this even possible? I'm pretty sure my sources said she hired someone to do the job. How sure are you that it isn't that crazy woman who killed my mother?"
How could the devil easily prove that nasty woman's innocence over their birth mother's death? Of all people, Zhang Wuying had the greatest motive for killing her husband's lover.
Zhang Jiren was only suspecting Zhang Wuying for now, but she was the most obvious person that could be the mastermind of Yan Qiuyu's death. Who else would want their mother dead but that horrible woman?
"I suppose you knew by now that those people she hired in the past are all dead." Feng Tianyi pointed out which Zhang Jiren couldn't refute. This was something he also found suspicious. Their deaths were seemingly caused by an accident, and there were only a couple of days between one death and the next.
"Yes. I think someone wanted to mum them for good," he answered.
Zhang Jiren couldn't think of any reason why they would end up dead if it wasn't for someone trying to clean up and destroy tracks. The only question was… who was behind it.
"As you know, the Tang Enterprise back then had hit its lowest point. It wasn't easy for your father to keep the company afloat."
Feng Tianyi knew that Tang Lixue had been torn between abandoning the Tang family or choosing his lover and their children.
