Feng Tianyi felt like someone poured a bucket of ice over his head when he heard what his mother's assistant said on the other end of the line. His mouth opened, but no words came out.

"You know that my mother is the first woman to hold the title as the head of the Song family, and she had to defeat many of my uncles before she was able to secure her position."
So the usual 'family devouring another kin' case, huh? Tang Moyu should have known that this would be the reason. The Song family was one of the oldest and most influential families in the country, it was only natural for those family members to covet Song Huifen's position.
"This is also a way to protect Baobao and Little Star. The rumors about them being my mother's successors have started to go around.
