Chapter 346 Her Worries 2

The past weekend and the past days were slightly different and disturbing for Aliya. Even though she did everything Callius wanted from her, even though she did look for the people outside or commoners who were in distress to make connections, that didn't mean she was not feeling anything.

Rather, just like a workaholic would do, she simply tried to brush off her feelings by simply distracting herself with her work. She wanted to forget the feelings she had felt when she heard about him going with her sister.

Aliya was no fool.

She knew the fact that Diana was obsessed with Callius. Even if Callius didn't inform her about it, she would know. It was both the instinct of a woman and the instinct of a demoness merchant.

She knew how to read people, and Diana was clearly showing the signs of 'love' for Callius. But, the thing that slightly made her feel insecure was not that Diana loved him.

It was the feelings of Callius.

Aliya knew he had a lot of secrets that he was hiding from her. She knew that he was carrying a slightly weird burden of knowledge that most people didn't have. His insight was also different, as if he was someone from another world.

The way he approached things was clearly otherworldly, but if one thing stood out to him, it would be the fact that he was clearly distrustful of others.

He didn't blindly trust others; he didn't help people out of simple goodwill. Of course, he was not a bad person, but he was not a very good person either.

Aliya knew Callius well enough to realize he wouldn't readily form connections or pursue romantic interests while maintaining such proximity to her. His principles held him back, and she held faith in his loyalty.

But this didn't apply to Diana.

Diana was the singular subject that Callius addressed with genuine emotion and intensity. In Aliya's eyes, that marked her as a potential threat.

A threat to her position in Callius's life. No matter how much she trusted him, the human heart was unpredictable and prone to change. Seeing those signs, Aliya couldn't shake off the trepidation that had taken root in her heart.

"You won't ever have the choice to leave my side, even if you wanted to. I won't allow it. No matter what comes our way, I won't let you face it alone."

As Callius pressed his forehead against hers, those words continuously echoed inside her heart.

"You belong to me, and I won't ever release my hold."

As Callius's voice resonated in the intimate space between them, Aliya found herself drawn to his intense gaze. It was a gaze that seemed to see beyond the surface, piercing through her defenses to reach the core of her being. The words he had spoken carried a weight that resonated deeply within her, stirring emotions she had tried to bury.

Her heart raced, and her breath caught as she looked into his eyes. She saw not just desire but a raw, unfiltered obsession burning there. His pupils were dilated with a mix of longing and possessiveness that both frightened and enticed her. The energy that emanated from him was intoxicating, a magnetic pull that she couldn't deny.

The crimson hue of his irises seemed to reflect the intensity of his emotions, the fire that blazed within him.

As her gaze traced the lines of his face, she noticed every detail—

the smoothness of his skin, the set of his jaw, and the hint of vulnerability that lay beneath his confident exterior. His lips, flushed with a mixture of arousal and unspoken words, seemed to beckon her closer.

She felt herself teetering on the edge of something unknown, a precipice of emotions that threatened to consume her.

There was a silent plea in her eyes, a yearning for him to confirm the depth of his feelings. She gazed into his eyes with vulnerability, her own desires and fears laid bare.

At that bare moment, she wanted him to bleed. She didn't know the reason why; she didn't know why she wanted such a thing.

But she did want it.

"Prove it to me," she whispered, her voice carrying a mixture of vulnerability and longing. "Show me that your words are more than just promises."

His response was immediate as if he had been expecting her request.

A hint of a grin flashed across his features, and he pulled away from her slightly, his gaze looking at him with a clear smile.

"Aliya, do you know what ancient people would do when they wanted to show their loyalty?" Callius asked, his voice carrying a sense of mystery and excitement.

Aliya's eyes widened slightly at his words, curiosity, and anticipation evident in her gaze. She shook her head slowly, waiting for him to reveal his intentions.

With a gentle smile, Callius made a small blade from his aura on the tip of his finger. The blade gleamed in the dim light, and Aliya's heart quickened as she realized his intention.

SWOOSH

Without a moment's hesitation, he drew the blade across his own neck, the motion swift and deliberate.

A gasp caught in Aliya's throat as she watched, her eyes wide with a mix of shock and intrigue. The sight was incredibly arousing for her, to see him do such a thing without budging his eye.

He neither convulsed nor looked uncomfortable because of this pain. It was as if this pain was nothing, and for Aliya, this act carried an underhanded emotion.

But Callius wasn't finished. With the same deftness, he moved towards her, his eyes locked onto hers as he leaned in.

FLINCH BITE

His lips brushed against the skin of her neck, a shiver running down her spine as she felt the light touch. And then, with a smooth and almost sensual movement, he pressed his teeth against her neck, his bite gentle yet possessive.

It was as if he knew the limits of her body so well that she didn't even feel a pain, almost only a small sting.

"Haaaahhh….Callius~" The whispered sound of her voice was laced with both surprise and pleasure, a melody of sensations that echoed through the room.

Aliya's breath caught as she looked into his eyes, the intensity of the moment wash over her.

Their eyes remained locked as he held her in his embrace, his bite both possessive and gentle. And then, in a surprising twist, his tongue darted out to delicately lick the bead of blood that had formed at the site of his bite.

"Ahh…."

The sensation sent a jolt of heat through her, and Aliya couldn't help but let out a soft, involuntary moan.

As if guided by an unspoken understanding, Callius brushed his thumb against the wound on his own neck, mingling his blood with hers.

A surge of mana radiated from his chest, a visible manifestation of his magic, and Aliya felt it wash over her like a gentle breeze. It was a sensation both foreign and electrifying, the magic connecting them on a profound level.

SMOOCH

And then, in a final act that sealed the ritual, Callius leaned in and captured her lips with his own. The kiss was a mixture of longing and affirmation, a promise that went beyond words.

SLURP

Their lips moved together in a dance of passion, sealing their bond with a fervent intensity.

PAH

As they finally pulled away, their breaths mingling, Aliya's heart raced. The room felt charged with magic, their connection stronger and more tangible than ever before.

"The ritual is complete. Can you feel me, Aliya?"

And it was those words that made her lose all her reasoning.

"I do."

SLURP

It was the start of another heated session…..
