In this world, there exist the beings we call demons. They are mostly associated with the term evil, and that is mostly true.

Most of the time, when you see a demon, the acts they are indulging are mostly the acts we consider as evil.

But does that mean the only evil beings in this world are demons?

The answer is no.

Every sentient being that has the will and the power to choose has evil in them.

After all, the things we call 'evil' are the things we deem uncomfortable for ourselves. For instance, the most recent events that were on the topic of Earth.

For some religions, homosexuality is associated with evil, but for other people, it is not. Then, from this example alone, we can say that the world of 'evil' changes according to each person.

But one thing won't change. For a person, the things they feel nauseous, hateful, and angry when they see them will be evil.

Just like before me.

"Will you be my prey…."

The moment these words echoed inside my head and the scene before me connected, I couldn't help but feel anger in my heart rising.

The man before me bore a visage twisted by insanity, his face splattered with blood as if he were a macabre artist working with a gruesome palette. The lifeless bodies of three individuals lay before him, their forms contorted in agony.

The first victim was a little girl, her innocent eyes gouged out, leaving behind empty sockets that seemed to stare into the abyss. Beside her lay a woman, her mutilated body a testament to unimaginable suffering. Her tongue had been severed, and her insides had been callously torn from her, casting an aura of grotesque violation upon her lifeless form.

A profound sense of dread settled upon me as my gaze shifted to the third victim—a child whose very essence had been savagely mutilated. The remains of a young life had been violated in the most appalling manner imaginable, with a cruelty that defied comprehension.

"Haha…." I couldn't help but mutter with a small laugh. This was a scene that I was not that unfamiliar with. There were many cases such girls were raped, and such people were murdered while I was wandering as an adventurer. It was not the first time I had seen this; nobles could be heinous after all.

"Hmm? What is wrong?" The man asked me, his face tilting to the side. "Do you find this funny like me? Do you want some?"

"To think I would meet you here out of nowhere…..Fate is indeed a scary word…." I mumbled, seizing the guy. His gruesome appearance, his crazed smile, the claws on his hands, the blood flowing through his mouth, everything made me remember a certain villain in the game.

'All Seeing Eye.'

With my eyes activated, I looked into the man before me.

---------------------

Name – Xander Darkshadow

Age – 35

Class – Bloodreaper Assassin

Mage Rank – 6-star

Knight Rank – 5-star

Attributes – Blood, Wind, Poison

-----------------------

With the attributes shown, I nodded my head.

At that moment, he let out a maniacal laugh, his eyes gleaming with a twisted joy. "Oh, you're a fun one! I was wondering if anyone else would show up to play."

"Hahaha...You call this play?"

The man's grin only widened, his laughter echoing through the alley. "Oh, I like you even more now! You understand, don't you? The thrill of the hunt, the rush of power, the exquisite symphony of fear and agony. It's all just a game to me."

"Indeed….It does feel good when you see the symphony of fear and agony before other people's eyes….." I replied, with a smile rising on my face. It was something I liked as well; after all, crushing people was a good feeling.

"Especially in Helia's and Casey's face, doesn't it?"

But something was a lot better.

Knowing the villains who turned into the path of evil for 'reasons' and insulting those reasons.

The playful smile on his face, the happiness and thrill he was showing, it all slowly changed, turning into a hateful expression.

"What did you say?" His voice trembled, a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"Helia and Casey. Weren't the expressions on their faces when you saw them dying before your eyes good? Hadn't they made you feel like the thrill of the hunt? Maybe the white liquid flowing through little one's crotch made you aroused as well?" I continued, my voice steady as I stared into his eyes.

"Shut up!" he screamed, his voice a wild, hysterical pitch. His eyes were wide with a mixture of fury and madness, his sanity unraveling before my eyes.

SWOOSH

In a split second, his movements became erratic, and he lunged at me with inhuman speed. His claws, stained with the blood of his victims, gleamed with deadly intent as he aimed to strike me down.

CLANK

But I was more than ready for his attack. Raising my Nihil, I blocked his claws with a smile on my face.

"Ah…..This is the best….." I loved this confrontation, the shift of the expression on his face, the playful and pleasure turning into hate and anger….

These are the feelings villains deserve.

'Even while you are dying, I won't give you a peaceful death.'

I will be the villain for villains.

I will give them the pain even in their last breaths; I will make them face the things they have done.

'Villains aren't born, they are made.'

Bullshit.

If everyone who lost their family is going to be the villain, then what is the point of having the chance to choose?

Just because you have experienced pain, does this give you the right to inflict pain on others? Who do you think you are? Do you think the world revolves around you, you fucker? Do you think the only one in this world who feels pain is you?

These three people you have killed here, don't they have their families? Aren't they people with lives?

"DIE!"

As he turned to face me, his features twisted into a mask of pure rage and insanity.

SWOOSH

He attacked again, his movements uncontrolled and frenzied, his strikes driven by maddening desperation.

CLANK CLANK

I continued to dodge block attacks, my movements fluid and calculated. Even though I was feeling slight anger, there was no way I could not control my emotions.

CLANK SWOOSH

I could sense the chaotic energy radiating from him, his mind consumed by his own darkness. With each swing of his claws, he grew more erratic, his attacks losing precision and becoming wild, desperate lunges. Waves of blood flew through me from his claws coated with blood magic.

CLANK CLANK CLANK

Even in his madness, there was a method to his movements, a calculated intent to strike at his target. He was relentless, driven by a singular purpose – to eliminate the perceived threat before him.

CLANK

"DIE!"

As I blocked his claws one more, I could feel the wind surging from his body.

SWOOSH

As the turning wind tried to shake me off, I smiled.

SWOOSH

Countering his wind with my own.

THUD

And with a fast kick, I attacked him from his abdomen.

"Kurgh-"

Making him spit saliva.

CRACKLE

And with a surge of lighting, I made him paralyzed for a second.

"Hey, Xander….Do you know what the best feeling in this world is?"

At that moment, I mumbled with a small smile.

"The best feeling in the world is when I make the justification of people who think they have the right to do those things crumble."

"The best feeling is watching them crumbling before your eyes, making them remember the reason why they were evil, shattering their little points of view."

"And now, I will exactly do it…."
