"ARTHUR, NOW!" Celia's high-pitched voice echoed inside the trees as blood started pouring from her mouth.
The moment Celia shouted, the blizzard covered the demon as it restrained its movements for a second.
However, following that was not what she was expecting. The Arthur she was waiting for to come had never come.
"That bastard! He fled!" Realizing the unforeseen event that happened in front of me, my mind started working at a fast speed. Not even once had I considered Arthur would fly like this, leaving Celia all alone.

And soon, the voice of the system echoed inside my head, putting a smile on my face.
'I don't know why this demon is this powerful or what this guy is doing. But, this…. Does put a smile on my face.'
At this point, there was no need for me to look at the quest since I was already planning to destroy the demon before me.
My eyes turned to the battlefield as I scanned the whole area, trying to find the traces of the demon.
'The demon is about to break free.'

'The playtime is over.' I thought. 'I won't let such an asset die, and the quest will also probably have a penalty if I let Celia die.' With that thought, I imbued my feet with aura and lightning as I knew the time interval to reach was short.

As I deflected the claws aimed at Celia, with my free hand, I threw a lightning bolt at the girl to shut her consciousness.
"Huh?" She was surprised, but before she could give any more responses, the electric bolt reached her body, making her lose consciousness.
'I was not planning to use my sword, but this changes the plans.' I thought as I gazed at the demon in front of me. 'But, I want to test my magic as well.'
With that thought, I readied myself as the demon was glaring at me.

Death magic was a type of magic that was exclusive to the creatures of hell. Thus not much was known about this magic. However, that didn't necessarily apply to me.
'If enough amount of death mana is accumulated in my body, then I am going to die.' That was what death magic would do.
And because he was the agility type of enemy, that made his magic more dangerous, as the accumulation of his magic would be a lot easier.
As the one second passed, the demon stopped assessing me either.

The winds started moving around the demon as it glared at me, a sign of its impending attack.
'Let's try fighting using my magic.' I thought as I readied myself upon seeing the demon getting ready to attack.

With the demon disappeared from the place it was staying, my eyes followed its movements clearly. As he had always done in the fight before, he went for the kill straight as his claws were aimed at my chest.
/CREAK/ /CREAK/
However, I was waiting for him to come as I instantly released the earthen-attributed magic I was holding in my hand.
The ground trembled beneath the demon's feet as I commanded the earth to rise, creating a barrier between us. Rocks and debris formed a defensive wall, providing a momentary shield against the demon's onslaught.
/CRASH/ /CRASH/
The demon crashed into the wall, as it wasn't able to stop itself before he could hit the suddenly raised earthen wall.
However, the strength of the wall was weak, as the spell I had used was just a two-star spell. Thus, it only slowed the demon down for a second, as he appeared beside it a second later.
But, I had achieved my main goal at that very second. I was not trying to force the demon to stop, but I was trying to get the demon's attention to divert, which I was successful at.
/SWIRL/ /SWIRL/
Releasing the other magic, fire mana, I had under my disposition, I attacked.
In an instant, flames erupted from my outstretched hand, swirling around the demon in a deadly vortex. The intense heat threatened to consume it, forcing the demon to divert its attention more to defend against my fiery assault.

However, there was one more thing that the demon could do at that point. As he released his wind magic in a curling motion, with the effect of the torque, the swirling fire surrounding him slowly dissipated, leaving the demon alone once again.
'I knew you would do that.' However, that meant he was wide open once again.

Imbuing my feet with the wind element, I increased my speed using the enchantment magic of 3-star rank, which I learned while studying yesterday.
The time it took me to use it was long since I had just started learning how to use it, but I had gained enough time to myself to compensate myself.
