Waking up early in the morning, I stretched myself.
"Ho…I really stood there all day…" I thought, feeling a bit sore. Of course, it was not physical but rather psychological.
Like the feeling, you get after studying for a long time…. I felt slightly burned out.
'I need to move my body.' With that thought, I raised myself from the bed and started walking to the training room under my dorm.
I had already finished writing my report, so I didn't have any assignments left for a while, meaning I was free.
"Jiyu-da." Remembering certain phrases from an anime I liked, I reached the entrance to my basement and immediately started training….

After finishing my light training session, I left the basement and cleaned myself.
In a sense, I had a reason not to tire myself fully.
Because today is the day when the first event takes place.
As you all know, Chronicles of Aeris is an RPG game, even if it was an eroge.
Therefore, in addition to its huge open world, it has a storyline to follow. And the action scenes in the academy arc start first with the entrance exam.
After getting a score related to your input, you would be assigned to a class befitting your note, and the plot will get to it according.
There you will form connections with the characters, learn their story and maybe get some side-quests from them.
Therefore, there is not much action until the first event starts, which is today.
The first event is not some sort of top-notch event. It is just a simple combat that only affects the protagonist of the game.
Demons and demon kings exist here, which is the same cliched troupe as you have all already seen.
Because the arc before the academy had mostly contained some erotic scenes and the world-building, it was not that long, so the player didn't have much time to combat demons or monsters if they had only followed the storyline without side-quests.
Thus, the player needed first to learn how the demons operated and worked, resulting in this event.
It is a small-scale event that doesn't affect the surroundings too much if you do your job properly. Of course, if you can't beat the demon and fail, the innocent academy students will die, and your reputation score will be lower.
However, the event will trigger at some place in the academy. A place that wasn't visited much by the students because of its emptiness, so the casualties will be low since it was the first quest.
'By now, Professor Alistair should have already given him the assignment to visit the laboratory.'
Though, of course, our protagonist needed to visit there because of a fixed quest given to him by a professor.
'If it was the game world, that is.' I thought to myself. Since Arthur was someone from Earth, either he was going to combat the demon, or he will get scared. Or even a small little detail might even change the events.
When someone talks about transmigration, they often forget how peaceful life in the 21st century is. If someone from the modern world transmigrates randomly here, would they really be able to combat monsters?
For me, it was different, considering I also had my half as Callius and witnessed a brutal scene before coming here, but does Arthur has the soul of the original inside? Does the original even exist?

In any case, that event was a good opportunity for me to see things from the first perspective and what kind of route Arthur was taking as the protagonist. Which route he was taking, which person he was going to come here with.
And most importantly, his strength and skills.
With those thoughts, I reached the south side of the academy, where nothing but greenery could be seen.
Thanks to the academy's vast grounds, if you wanted to travel from one place to another, you could find quite a lot of empty lands where only trees could be found.
'The black mana is already spreading… It seems the demon had already laid for the ambush.' I thought, sensing the black mana in the atmosphere.

And the answer is blatantly obvious. There are insiders here, of which I know the identity. But I can't touch them yet. I am not strong enough for the time being.

Just like that, the only thing left for me was just to erase my presence and wait.

"Hmm?" A young man opened his sleepy eyes as he heard a familiar robotic voice inside his head. "What is this system?" He asked, not being able to understand what was happening.
<Host. As the protagonist of this world, you need to meet the requirements of being one.>
"What requirements?" He thought to himself.
As a person that played the game for its erotic elements, of course, he didn't know how the story progressed. Since he always used cheats while playing it.
Opening the panel, there he saw the quest.
"What is this?" Soon followed by a scream of surprise.
"Huh? Arthur, what is wrong?" A girl's name came behind him as Arthur screamed.
"Ah…. Nothing, dear, just give me a second." Flashing his charming smile, Arthur calmed the girl down as he stood up.
"Okay. Come back fast." The girl gave him an alluring smile, though Arthur's mind was not in the right place.
After all, he was sweating profusely…
