As Seraphina waved her hand, Callius disappeared from the place he was standing, teleporting to her room.

"This still feels weird, no matter how many times I have felt it," Callius mumbled to himself, feeling the spatial mana around him stabilizing once again. "Now, what should I do." Walking inside his room, he started reviewing the things that happened today.

'It was a pity that I killed him. He was not a bad guy.' He thought to himself. 'Though, the scars in his soul lay very deep. Poor guy.' With those thoughts filled inside his head, he reached to the bookshelves that were filled with five thick books that were showing signs of getting old.

"Then again. Right now, I don't have any clue about which type of action they will take. I just need to wait for things to get a little more escalated until I play my cards." He mumbled as he reached the shelves and grabbed a book. 'Studying is not the best thing when it comes to clearing your head, I guess.' He thought as he discarded the idea of studying when his head was filled with a lot of things. 'Then, it is the sword, isn't it?' Though, in the end, there was one answer for such a situation he had been using for a while.

As he touched the ring in his hand, a sword and its handle appeared right before him. A sword that he had been itching to use. A black sword that had a pointy tip and a tiny blade that extended to an arm's length, almost enough to be called a longsword.

"It has been a long time, my girl. Isn't it?" He mumbled as she unsheathed the sword.

/TREMBLE/

Though, the sword in the subject trembled for the response.

"Hmm…. I guess you were bored." He spoke, looking at the sword. "You can morph now if you want. Nobody can see us here." Slightly leaning forward, he said as his hands grazed through the cold blade of his Nihil.

"Really?" The moment his words were finished, a little girl appeared right before him as the sword disappeared. "I can finally morph?" The excited face of a little girl with her red eyes shining was enough to show that she was waiting for this moment. "Master, Nihil was too bored. Why didn't you take her out?" She complained as tears filled her eyes. "Nihil thought you disliked using her. She thought you were not going to take her out anymore…. UWAAAAA!" At the end of her words, Nihil started crying as she looked at Callius with teary eyes.

'Sigh…. That's why I don't like dealing with children.' Callius thought, looking at the little girl crying over him. "Nihil." As he spoke in a serious and graceful tone, the girl, whose eyes were slightly red around the irises, shifted her gaze towards him, with her gaze attentively looking at her master.

"I won't abandon you." Without any ounce of hesitation, Callius said with his crimson eyes piercing through the little girl.

"From the moment I grabbed you as my sword, your fate is sealed. Neither are you going to get away from me, nor am I going to let you go. You will be with me until the end of my life. I am your master, and it will stay like that." Callius said as his hands raised. "Therefore, don't cry. I am not using you that frequently because I don't need to for the time being. When the time comes, you will have the blood you want to take; you don't need to worry." He said as he looked into her slightly salivating mouth. He couldn't help but be reminded of the trouble her Gluttony trait had caused, particularly when she devoured the cores.

"Really!" As his words entered the ears of a little girl, her eyes which had been filled with tears just a mine ago, started shining once again. "But, master, how long does Nihil need to wait?" She asked as she was looking at him with shiny eyes. But she couldn't contain her curiosity, asking how long she would need to wait.

"I don't know for now. But, I will keep taking you out in the mornings just as before…. Keep content with it for now, okay… I will give you more cores." As Callius said that, his hands reached the long hair of Nihil, slightly patting her from her head.

"Yey! More meals!" Nihil excitedly exclaimed as she hugged her master from her legs. In the end, when it comes to children, bribing them is a lot easier.

'That is why I also like dealing with children. It is nothing complicated.' Callius thought, looking at the girl hugging him by his legs as she was rubbing her head like a little kitten. 'I guess it is not bad to see her after for a while….' He couldn't help but think seeing the little girl was cute.

However, his face, which had been filled with a slight smile, immediately turned serious as he once again remembered the reason why he had taken her out of the ring. 'What did I just think now? It is not the time for this.' Thinking that, he immediately took control of his thoughts once again. "Nihil, turn back to your original form." His serious voice filled the room as he looked into the girl.

"Okay." At this point, instead of behaving like a little child, Nihil listened to the words of her master and took the shape of a sword once again.

With his hands touching the cold blade last time for a while, Callius felt the sensation of being one with his sword once again and started walking towards the basement, which had been reserved for himself to train.

'Now, let's shed some sweat until I can no longer train.' He thought as he stepped up to the room filled with darkness.

"Activate stage 3 golems for physical training."

"Understood."

As his voice filled the room, a voice of an artificial young woman responded to him, closing the door behind him.

"Stage 3 physical training started."

Just like that, Callius started his training as the room divulged to darkness….
