CHAPTER 89
That day had been a kind of hell in a good way with more of her workers getting itchy with news about her and Liu Xueyi.
She denied it with ease, sending them all off to get the work done.
The next day came quickly as well. Thank the heavens Liu Xueyi permitted them to go home on time.
He was not one to bother so much with employees' affairs, considering that Human Resources had its own agents and use.
However, he did his fair share on a bi-weekly basis.
Now that she was here, he got so involved in the affairs and for that, everyone was happy.
Before they dispersed that day, he ordered some nice ice cream for them with cupcakes and food. That was the happiest Andromeda had seen them that week and she was glad.
It was good motivation to prompt better work.
By the time she got home, she got a call from Xie Tian not long after she began taking a nap to ease off the stress of the day.
"Hello. Xie Tian. How are you?"
"I'm back Andy!" Xie Tian screamed into the phone.
Andromeda pulled the phone from her ear, preventing her eardrums from being affected by his loud scream.
"Seriously, young man!" She half screamed as well.
"Andy, why the yell?"
"How can you do that without warning?" She scolded bringing the phone closer to her ear.
"Well, what would that be if I announce my arrival without such a bang, considering you did not call me since. I told you I was arriving in the country around noon. So?"
Her face contorted a bit when she recalled his words. She had been too tired that sleeping right after her afternoon snack was the best thing her body could have done for her.
She was not a model, so she did not bother too much with her body. That did not stop her, however, from doing yoga and hitting the gym every now and then.
"Guess what?" Xie Tian's voice broke her out from her reverie.
"Huh, what?"
"Just look out your window," he encouraged her.
"Really?" Her brows kneaded the more. She was confused about what it was until he pressed the honk of his car.
Shocked, she sat up on her bed and scurried towards the window to confirm what her mind was telling her to.
"I am back, Andromeda, won't you come to say hello?"
Her face engaged in a smile that created little wrinkles around her eyes and grooves in her cheeks.
"Hhahaa, first, did you come with what I asked?"
"Yes. Your baby is right outside with me. What are you waiting for?"
"Got it. I would be right down."
Quickly, she scurried back to her wardrobe and got her black leather jacket out and changed into a matching pair of black leather shirts while fixing up her black boots to match.
She wore a white tank top inside and tied her hair into a ponytail before leaving.
In no time, Andromeda rushed down to meet him and was surprised when she saw Xie Tian standing alone.
For the first part, she was shocked that the car he brought was one of his regulars and thought he was messing with her.
"Hello, Xie." She greeted still and walked into his outstretched arms for the hug that took them five years to flesh out.
It felt like old times being in his protective arms like this but what could she do?
Unlike last time when she had a breathing problem, this time she mentally prepared herself for it and there was no issue.
They broke the hug, pulling back to stare at each other. The pleasant smile of satisfaction washed over them as they nodded at each other.
"Come here, Andy. Let me hug you better. I missed you," Xie Tian pleaded, making a baby face.
He knew how much that act of his broke her resolve and surprisingly, after five years it still had a good effect.
She nodded her head and gave in once more. By the time they were done with their pleasantries, she had but one question.
"Where is she?"
"Where is who?"
"Don't play dumb with me. You know what I am talking about. Where is she?"
"Andromeda Kia, you mean you rushed down here with eyes wide open and you did not see my baby?" She shook her head, keeping her suspicious gaze on him.
"Tsk, I feel hurt and betrayed if you gave me that smile." Her smile broadened. She felt she had caught his lie. "No wonder you showered me with your love first."
"Yup."
"I said it. You I know would have been there kissing you baby." As he finished the last sentence, he pointed to his righthand side.
Hidden between a couple of other cars, was his prestigious baby, breathing heavily as she waited to be noticed.
Andromeda's eyes fell wide open with jaw-dropping to the fullest as she stared at what was one of the world's sweetest darlings.

She had read that online but seeing it first-hand, she was truly intrigued. "Say hello to my baby," Xie Tian announced.
"Sweet!" That pleased smile lit up her face again as her eyes held a glint of humour in them.
Her cheeks curled up further as she took bold steps in the direction of the car.
This was one of the best Lamborghini products and one she wasn't having the money to afford now.
Getting to where the car was, she spent some time looking at it before whipping her head to the side to see Xie Tian smiling at her.
