Rather than being scared, a cheeky grin formed on Liu Xueyi's lips.
"And you are scaring me with a napkin?" His deep voice inquired mockingly.
Her brows furrowed, pulling her attention to her hand. Indeed, what she held was a napkin. Her jaws dropped slightly at her stupidity.
'Seriously? How stupid can I be in front of him? What has he done to my mental state?'
She let out a heavy sigh and shook her head visibly. This was too much. He was too much and she… what kind of response was that?
Not wanting to cross his boundaries Liu Xueyi retreated from her in surrender while his brain was still sane.
Andromeda whipped her head back up and with a stern gaze, spoke up. "You'll use the guest room and have your bath. It can help with your temperature and clear your head while I cook you something to eat so you can take some med."
As tempting as her offer was, he couldn't bring his mind to say yes.
Thanks to her stopping him on time, he got himself under control but there was no telling what more he would do to her if he was around.
Left with the best simple choice, he declined. "Thanks, but I got to go."
"Are you…" she stopped midway and nodded her head. There was no need to fight this. Clearly, it was for the best and being who he was, he had thought about it.
She already felt shy with him here, how then could she manage the embarrassment later?
"Thanks, and I am sorry for crossing boundaries. It was my fault." He watched her lower her gaze and rubbed her left hand over her right arm.
Things did get far, didn't they? And as much as it pleased him to have been involved with her, he knew it was wrong.
He did not want her getting shaken by his actions so he needed to get away from her, now.
Before she could counter his words, he voiced out quickly. "I would excuse myself now. Have a nice day, Andromeda."
With that, he exited the kitchen, giving her the privacy, she deserved while silently cursing himself for such shameful behaviour.
She wished to stop him but her brain was still a pure mess from their make-out session.
Never would she have thought she would get into it that way with him.

He started the engine and drove off as fast as he could.
All the while his hands were on the steering wheel, and he could not bring himself to think straight.
Flashes of their time kept on assaulting his mind and he wished it would just stop.
But honestly, it never did. His brain and mind remained foggy from their heated session.

He spent some minutes there before turning on the bath and climbing into it to relax his mind.
Now that his body was calm a bit, rather than thinking about their heated romance, he diverted his mind to his wrong misconduct and completely scolded himself.

He shook his head and moved his upper body further into the bath.
