CHAPTER 74
Li Xueyi did not bother wasting an ounce of his time on her and stood up. Just then one of the waiters rushed from the top floor to come to see what was happening.
"Help her to the hospital. I tried helping with her ankle but I think she sprained it."
He did not bother looking at the waiter and walked away, ignoring the two of them.
She remained seated on the ground still in shock from what happened.
Never in her life would she think she could not use her beauty to get the man she wanted.
However, with the pain she got and the embarrassment, Mo Feng Yi was determined to conquer Liu Xueyi the more.
'Hmm,' she scoffed within. 'Says who I wanted a gentleman, Liu Xueyi. I love non-gentlemen most, cause their sex is usually the wildest.'
Her eyes scanned her environment, coming to her front where he just stood a few minutes ago.
'I wonder where you stumbled off to that made me miss such a nice opportunity to have you ram me up and pound me as you like?'
A sinister smile formed at the corners of her lips, reaching up to her eyes in an evil fashion.
'Just you wait Liu Xueyi. I would get all means necessary and give you another try. This time, however, you shall fall.'
At the same time, the waiter rushed down the stair st o her aid and called out, "Miss, are you okay? Please take my hand, let me help you up."
She wore her killer smile and then cringe a bit at the pain from her ankle. "Ouch, it hurts."
"Should I call for an ambulance or do you need a cab?"
"Any, take me to the hospital."

Just as he had told Andromeda, Liu Xueyi first of all attended a meeting close to where the restaurant was and when it was fifteen minutes to three, he excused himself.
All through the meeting, a pair of eyes never failed to leave him, watching as his eyes darted to his watch every now and then.
'Hmm, he got a very important appointment then. The way and manner his body seems itchy, he may try to hide it but I can tell when he is hot. After all, he is my son.'
At the exact said time, he stood up from his seat, bowed his head respectfully and immediately all signs of his uneasiness disappeared.
Who stood before his father and the many other business partners, was the one son and CEO admired by all.
"My apologies, sirs. I have another appointment by three."
"Oh, Liu Xueyi, you can just wait, we would be done in fifteen minutes maximum," one of the men present informed him.
"Thank you but if I wait another minute, I am afraid I would go late for my next appointment."
"Then you can call and inform them. This is important. Depending on how we strategize, the bidding proposal would be ours." The man pushed.
"I understand what you mean, Mr Otakku but as ai said, I prioritize time keeping most. I never arrive anywhere late. I won't start now because some persons failed to arrive early for a said meeting."
The second the words fell out of his mouth, a soft scoff fell off someone's lips but Liu Xueyi remained unphased by it.
"What are you trying to insinuate?" Mr Otakku creased his brows as his eyes dimmed at Liu Xueyi.
"What do you think? My P.A is around. He would fill me in on whatever outcome you finalize."
"And your opinion?" A lady this time fired at him.
"I think my opinion has been laid out before and it won't change no matter what decision you all come to a consensus at. Rest assured, this bidding proposal would be ours and Liu Corporation shall expand in all ways."
The lady's eyes scanned him thoroughly before coming to lock on his face. "How confident are you?"
"Mrs Hu, I am ninety-nine percent certain. The remaining one percent falls on the board."
Several murmurings ensued from every side but his eyes landed on one person. His father.
"Push through the way I explained and we can have our competitors cornered on every side. Besides, the profits made from the movie launch and the Starlight Apparel would be enough to push with so many things. It is time for us to complete our position."
A loud chuckle followed and the Master of the Liu family nodded his head at his son.
"Fine. He has said it all and as long as he has that confidence, I know he can do it. Indeed, He Dong was right. I should let you handle it. Even the Kai family wouldn't know what hit them."
"But Liu Jinchen, can you just let this matter be?"
"Why won't I Hu Xiao? Besides, you all have successfully taken from his fifteen minutes. His presence won't falter anything. He has me here."
Another soft chuckle followed, earning stares in his direction. "Fine then, I, ZongCai am in full support of Liu Jinchen. My boy, you can go."
"Not that I needed your help, uncle but thanks and I am not a boy."
A cheeky smile adorned the corners of his lips again and he dipped his head in a slight bow before taking his leave.
He managed to keep in his act all the way till he was out the door. Upon closing it, Liu Xueyi's eyes fell down on his watch.
'Damn it, I have just twelve more minutes. Those old… urghh.'
He loosened his tie a bit and briskly walked to the elevator. He loved keeping to time but however, but this time, the more he thought of Andromeda, the more his head spun and his body became extremely hot.
He did call Mo Feng Yi's perfume cheap but whether or not it was, he got a good amount of sniffing of it while he was close to her and now, the reactions were playing out.
Entering his car, he put it in reverse and drove out of the building's compound.
