CHAPTER 71
Mo Feng Yi got to the restroom first before Andromeda did and went on to apply whatever touch-up she needed.
It did not take long though, Andromeda soon found her way there. At first, she rested against the wall while taking her time to assess the woman standing before her.
Letting out a smile, she proceeded to the sink and washed her hands. As soon as she finished, she aired her hands and smiled into the big mirror.
From the corner of her eye, upon entering, Andromeda noticed Mo Feng Yi giving her a disgusted look. If only she had looked at the mirror properly to see herself, then she would correct the look on her face.
"To think you would result to such foolish tricks act of jealousy for a man who doesn't even notice you."
"Huh," Mo Feng Yi paused before letting out a scoff and closing her lipstick. "You think I would waste my time on a rat like you?" She pressed her lips together, before sticking them out as she turned to face Andromeda.
"Ha, funny you should say that. I recall a not-so-drunk frustrated jealous soul wavering on her feet to fall on me."
"You were mistaken, I only tripped."
Her eyes raked through Andromeda from top to bottom before flickering her gaze away as though she wasn't worth it.
"I just wanted to let you know, that you wasted your time trying to play jelly for a guy who spared you an irritated glance."
Her last sentence had struck a nerve at Mo Feng Yi and the lady eyed her again, creasing her brows slowly.
"Says who? All I can tell you is that once he is through with a one-time fling like you, he would be done with you in a jiffy. I am still the one who Liu Xueyi loves."
At her proclamation, Andromeda could not hold in her laughter and let it out in a fashionable manner.
"Oh, hahhaa, are those the words you've been feeding yourself to feel better? Wow, the level of delusion is uncanny. Bravo." She clasped her hands together several times, applauding Mo Feng Yi for her stupidity.
Mo Feng Yi balled her hands into fists at her side and shook her head.
"Watch your mouth slut. How much is he paying you, huh? What do you have that I do not? This is a sound warning to you, stay away from Liu Xueyi if you do not want me to make your life miserable."
Hearing her threat, Andromeda managed to reel in her laughter and become serious. But the wrinkle lines still showed on her forehead.
"You know what?" Andromeda asked, not backing down. "I think I may need some of that steam you propose in my life. Why not show me what you got, or are you all talk ?"
"Is that what you think? Ask around. I Mo Feng Yi can do as I please. I named him my man, meaning all girls are to back down."
"Hoho. Is that why you couldn't take off your eyes from us and you got sad he acted all lovey-dovey with me?" She changed the tone of her voice just to taunt Mo Feng Yi some more.
She was not one who loved getting into fights but she so much wanted to prove to Mo Feng Yi that she was not a pushover.
"Do I look scared? Or do I look like a woman forcing myself unto a man like you? I know Liu Xueyi and he would never condescend so low to have a woman like you."
"You. What do you know?"
Andromeda lifted her brows in mockery. "Yes me. And so what? I know everything because I am his rightful girlfriend and I know how bitches like you try to flock on men to get what they want."
"What? That is a lie. You are not his girlfriend,' Mo Feng Yi fought back.
Her eyes darted for some seconds. Andromeda could see her racking her brain in search of answers or something to hit back but found none.
"Yes, if he did have a girlfriend, I would know and Xu Fang would not push me to sleep with him."
"Hehe, do you not know his friends play a lot? I can't believe your stupidity runs this deep, Mo Feng Yi. It is either that or that body of your cannot stay in one place without a man's touch."
Mo Feng Yo's eyes darkened at Andromeda's insult but Andromeda was just starting.
"Did you think I did not notice you dining with that man and acting lecherously?"
Andromeda's smile broadened but she did not hide under any facade as she plainly showed her no-nonsense face. "Go on, defend yourself."
Not being able to take it any longer, Mo Feng Yi raised her hand to slap Andromeda but she was faster and caught her hand in mid-air.
She lifted her brows lazily. And the dread that shone in those beautiful blue eyes of hers, changed the atmosphere completely.
The moment Mo Feng Yi looked at Andromeda's eyes, she could see the killing intent etched deep within and she stilled. Her breathing stopped and fear drifted into her heart.
It felt like time had stopped as Mo Feng Yi forgot to move or try to retaliate.
Her eyes remained wide open and locked on Andromeda but all the while, she was stunned by how much suffocating effect her eyes had within them.
It was as though her body no longer listened to her.
"Last warning, Mo Feng Yi, never you cross me again or you would be getting more than a stain on your outfit."
She pushed her hand back and closed the gap between them quickly. Everything had happened so fast for Mo Feng Yi who could not grasp the gravity of the situation.
"On the other hand, I may just live a stain in your life."
Andromeda took a step back and patted Mo Feng Yi's shoulder. "Now, be a good girl and go satisfy your business partner."
