CHAPTER 65
As soon as they got outside, Andromeda was about to let go, when Liu Xueyi wrapped his hand on her waist and pulled her body closer to his, leaving no space between them and catching her off guard.
"Xueyi," she called out breathlessly.
"How much are you going to price my services this time around, huh?"
"Her eyes scanned his before asking, "W-What, do you mean?"
"Still playing hard? You just used me again, Andromeda. Now I do not want to let you go. Why allow it to end there, in just holding hands."
"Huh... You have overthought. There was no use for anyone. I just held your arms. I have long finished speaking with him," she tried to explain.
"Is that so?" She nodded her head even though her brows remained raised. Something about their position told her his naughty self would not be stopped. "Staring into your eyes, I see a different thing," Liu Xueyi countered.
She shook her body and managed to break free from his hold. However, before she took the next step, he caught her hand and brought her back into his arms. "Xueyi, we…" He leaned in further, bringing their faces closer.
"We're outside." She managed to get out before he came in closer. Just watching her, he had to steal in his smile from how tensed she became due to their proximity.
"So Andro, you are only bothered about what the others might see. If that is the case, I can take us somewhere private and we continue."
Her eyes widened at his speculation. Could he not be any more dense or naughty?
"Not at all. Just let me go please," she feigned a smile.
"Fine. You are no fun to tease."
He was about to release his hand when he felt eyes on them and paused all of a sudden and stilled.
The look in his eyes changed. No longer did they have the hint of fun from earlier. Now he looked deadpan serious as when he made an entry.
He scanned the surrounding quickly while keeping his eyes on her face. However, Andromeda sensed something was wrong.
"Xue…" her words were immediately cut short when he brought his face closer so that their lips barely grazed the other and he shut his eyes.
With her breathing held, she did not move and stood like a statue. "Breath," he ordered. "Play along, your admirer is watching."
Her eyes went wide before she furrowed her brows trying to make sense of what he said.
As much as she wanted to back out, thinking it was one of his teases, she felt something wrong and obeyed, trusting his seriousness.
Wasting no time, she forced her brain to work and reached up, only to circle her hands around his neck.
Watching from inside the restaurant, Sun Yichen balled his hands in front of him as he saw Andromeda tilt her head a bit and kissed Liu Xueyi.
While that was what it looked like from his angle, their lips barely touched and they waited for some seconds with his hands firmly on her back and waist before pulling apart.
"Shall we?"
She nodded and together they left. It was not until she got to her side of the car, that she noticed Liu Xueyi was indeed telling the truth. Not that she doubted him, she was just surprised that Sun Yichen would try to check it out.
"Did you know he was going to come out?" Andromeda questioned out of the blue.
"Not entirely. I suspected. And if we had disengaged as you wished, then the little stunt you pulled would have all been for nought."
"Thanks."
"Umm, I think I would prefer my thanks in another way," he hinted.
She let out a soft scoff at his cheekiness.
'I used to think CEOs were benevolent and nice, turns out that was only in books and not real life. My CEO is always looking for where to collect a favour from me.' She shook her head in her mind and sighed.
As much as she did that, she did not fail to thank him properly. Catching him off-guard, Andromeda leaned in, adjusted the seat belt a bit and placed a soft kiss on his cheek. "Thanks."
She settled back in her seat, leaving a stunned Liu Xueyi to his thoughts while her head remained lowered.

Before long, days rolled by and the relationship between Andromeda and Liu Xueyi began to flow more than how restricted they were.
As much as Liu Xueyi was opening up and being fine with it in admiring her, she was more reserved.
Yes, she told herself she deserved to be happy irrespective of what her useless man of an ex did but when she recalled how she ended up being used, she shied away from it all.
On the other hand, right after the movie launch, Starlight Apparel got several compliments both on news and social media not just for the new movie made but also in respect of the design of Fang Qian's outfit.
Although Liu Xueyi did not stay till the end of the show, she got tons of compliments and was indeed the star of their carpet and that did not fail the eyes of critique.
Several questions were raised online. Where did the Liu company get such a designer from? Just who had that dress made and who or how did the materials get there?
Everyone wished to know the secret behind it all but as he had instructed, no one spilled a single detail about this.
The mystery itself was bringing more popularity to their company and just to try them out, another famous actress ordered an outfit from them, willing to pay whatever the cost was just to be able to wear that designer's gown for her birthday.
Once more, Andromeda was saddled with the responsibility of attending to the customer.
To ensure she remained hidden, she assigned Jian Xiaofei to take the measurements of the young actress at her home and came back with everything needed.
