Chapter 540 Her Fuel and Motivation

CHAPTER 540

Xu Fang's chest swirled with pride as he listened to his friend. It had been a long time since he had seen Liu Xueyi this way.

More so, he did not think that when he drugged him back then, it would lead to his friend being a lover like this.

Although he regretted doing that, seeing as if he had slept with the girl he arranged for him, things might have gone very ugly for him.

But at this time, Xu Fang was glad it was with Andromeda and Liu Xueyi was there to spare her from further terrible heartbreak with Wu Bai, the cheat.

No doubt she would have hated herself for it, after learning of his betrayal and then allowing him to quench the fire burning inside.

Liu Xueyi exhaled sharply, his eyes burning with passion as he spoke. All Xu Fang could conjure up in his brain was how great they were.

A huge smile hung on his lips as he uttered proudly, "She's very lucky to have you."

"No," Liu Xueyi disagreed almost immediately. This wasn't just luck to Liu Xueyi. It was fate, but if luck was going to be added, then the tables would be turned.

"I'm the one who is lucky to have her and will be the luckiest if she chooses to be mine forever," he corrected.

"I have no doubt she will," Xu Fang affirmed. "You both deserve each other."

"Aye. Anyway, I have my intentions and plans and as Andy knows, she's the only one for me. I'd do anything for her. For that, Yu An will have to go down."

"You have my full support."

Jian Xiaofei and Peng Xiaoli were happy at the news, but Andromeda still seemed down because of the problems she encountered.

Glancing at each other before focusing their attention on her, Peng Xiaoli heaved a deep sigh and shook her head.

Ever since the whole scandal, she has constantly roamed the internet in her free time. No doubt she was browsing those hateful comments against all of their warnings.

"Ma'am, you shouldn't go through comments and posts," she chided Andromeda.

Jian Xiaofei, who had hoped to sit this one out, decided to join the motion and ensure Andromeda did not do this to herself.

"Yes. It is exactly as Xiaoli said. Haters' gonna hate and potatoes gonna potate; don't let it get to you. If you didn't deserve any of this, you won't be getting it," Jian Xiaofei encouraged.

"True," Peng Xiaoli continued, taking a step closer to Andromeda's table. "Think about the good things you have and those you have achieved. Let that cheer you up. You deserve it all and your hard work has proven it."

Andromeda shut her eyes briefly. They all did not seem to understand. As much as she hated some of those comments, she read them.

It geared her up. It pushed her. It fueled her resolve even more. She wasn't going to be suicidal. No.

It was far from that. She wanted to soar high and be able to stand beside her boyfriend without people saying, 'she didn't work hard for it', no.

She knew Liu Xueyi saw her as an equal and not some woman who needed to be put behind.

Still, she did not want to be behind, seeking help and needed to prove to herself, her late mom, and Liu Xueyi that she was capable and ready to face any challenge and come out shining.

Not wanting to have them worry over her, Andromeda let out a deep breath before shutting down her laptop and turning to face them.

"Understood." Still, both ladies stared at her with unbelievable eyes, as though an alien were sitting in front of them. "Really, now?"

She shook her head before rising to her feet as she shifted her wine-coloured skirt and fixed her cream-coloured turtleneck nylon long-sleeved blouse. Even in her simple outfits, she looked nothing less than dashing.

Flickering her hair behind her, Andromeda placed a hand on her hips before declaring to them, "Big sis, is strong, Fei-Fei. Thanks for the concern, Xiaoli."

They nodded in understanding as their smiles spilt into their eyes. "Now, who wants to go shopping? I need to clear my head."

"Me!" Jian Xiaofei and Peng Xiaoli chorused.

Considering it was already 3 p.m., Andromeda decided to take the rest of the day off with her girls, hoping to give them a treat and, better yet, clear her mind.

What she hadn't counted on was the choice of store. It wasn't until Peng Xiaoli called her attention to it after they drove past two stores on their way that Andromeda's mind settled.

"Wait," Peng Xiaoli paused when she noticed Jian Xiaofei giggling—somehow it felt as though she was in her head and always knew what she was going to say. Shaking her head, she continued, "Do not tell us, you had nowhere in mind."

"I won't if you do not wish to know," Andromeda quipped.

Jian Xiaofei did not bother holding in her laughter, but after some seconds, she calmly joined in the conversation. "It's funny, but big sis, you are distracted."

"Be thankful for our presence, Ms. Kai, but I know of a newly opened collection of pieces of jewelry. You can pick one and go sightsee. I guess it'll bring your mind back from so many problems."

Andromeda's lips pulled back as she agreed with them. "Fine. Direct me."

"Good."

When Andromeda allowed Peng Xiaoli to direct her to the new shop, she never had any idea it would be one owned by Yu An herself.

What was more, she had no idea of the recent issue Liu Xueyi discovered, as the latter chose to handle things by himself without worrying her.

Furthermore, neither Peng Xiaoli nor Jian Xiaofei had any idea about Rong Bolin or Liu Xueyi's thoughts on Yu An. All they saw was a new businesswoman making a name for herself.

Of course, they'd all soon beg to differ.

Stepping inside the building, Andromeda's eyes caught sight of a shimmering necklace and earring piece. Immediately, she strode over.

However, the moment she placed her hand on the glass, another hand rested on it as well.

"I got it first."
