CHAPTER 539
Fang Qian Qian, on the other hand, seemed to be having it terrible when she heard the news about the changes made to the scenes.
Slamming the printed-out script on the small mahogany desk in front of her, Fang Qian Qian's eyes turned dark as she glared daggers at her agent.
"Ms. Fang, what is the meaning of this?"
"Excuse me?" She scoffed, turning her head to the side briefly, and when she turned back, her gaze became sharper and more intense.
"You have got to be kidding me!" she hollered at her agent. "How come Ms. Newbie A.K. gets to have more scenes and mine is reduced?"
Her agent, having discussed things extensively with Director Qi, was left exhausted already, and now she had to face the rich spoilt brat.
Heaven wasn't smiling down on her today.
However, she knew Fang Qian Qian was only bitching because Andromeda's scenes were almost the same as hers.
After going through it with Qi Fuyi, everything was well structured out for her and she could not argue.
"Fang Qian Qin, you need to understand that your scenes were not reduced."
Fang Qian Qian lifted her brow at her. "Excuse me? How is that not so? She outshines me and the second female lead."
"Forgive me, but I believe that is how you chose to see it, not necessarily how it is. She has more fight scenes, but she isn't overshadowing you. Rather, her scenes would later serve to bring you to the spotlight. Nothing to fuss about."
"Whose side are you on?" she growled at her agent and without further talk, Fang Qian Qian stormed out of the lady's office, slamming the door hard as she stepped out.
"I do not know if she is getting better or worse. As much as I should fight more for her, I know she will never see the big picture and she is feeling too threatened." She sighed, taking her seat and crossing her legs.
"If only she could be obedient, listening to me for once. Then things would go her way easily." Her eyes scanned the script in front of her, Fang Qian Qian left behind.
She narrowed her eyes, her thoughts running wild as she finally came to a conclusion.
"I might as well find a way to get things under my control and make Director Qi listen."

Taking his orders seriously, everyone got to work: Rong Bolin, Xu Fang?andTang Yan. Furthermore, Liu Xueyi pressed his team more and in no time, he got the needed evidence to strike at Yu An.
"I just got news, Xueyi," Xu Gang announced as he walked into the conference room Xueyi was seated after listening to the presentation from the marketing team.
"Be more specific. What news is that?"
"About Yu An. You were right. She really was involved, but why? Have you contacted her?" Liu Xueyi shook his head but kept his attention focused on the screen before him. "Huh?"
"I told you before, did I not? I'll sabotage her relationship with the Sun family and also make the Sun family lose out on Kai Beifang."
"Isn't that much? I mean, Kai Beifang has nothing to…" Xu Fang halted on his own accord and gave some thought to his words. "I get it. We are doing kai Beifang a favour."
'Exactly," Liu Xueyi asserted as he rose to his feet. "I shouldn't, after how he treated Andromeda but, he can consider this a form of last courtesy for his daughter and my late mother-in-law."
Xu Fang's eyes went wide. Did he just hear Liu Xueyi say mother-in-law?
He blinked severally, making sure the words he heard were correct. But even after several seconds, Xu Fang did not hear his friend correct himself and had to ask.
"Wait, late-mother-in-law? Xueyi, since when did you get married without our knowledge?"
Liu Xueyi was about to explain when Xu Fang burst into a fit of laughter. He pressed his lips together and shook his head at his friend.
"It's useless explaining things to you."
"Hahaha. No, it's not," Xu Fang chuckled. Ignoring him, Liu Xueyi took a step forward, wanting to leave, when Xu Fang caught his hand. "Okay, I'll be serious now."
Liu Xueyi gave him a hard stare as if to say, 'Would you now?' and sighed.
"I'm serious, Xueyi." Xu Fang pushed further, itching his way close to Xueyi's ears. "Are we proposing just yet?"
"No." Placing a hand over his face, Liu Xueyi pushed Xu Fang away from him and broke free from his hold.
"Pfft, you're no fun. But on a serious note, man, why?" Fir some moments, Liu Xueyi seemed thoughtful unable to provide an answer for his friend. "Whoa! Don;t tell me you're having cold feet. No second thoughts bro."
Rather than dissing his thoughts, Liu Xueyi raised his brows quizzically at him.
"Bro, she's everything you've ever wanted. Why the delay honestly?" To Liu Xueyi's surprise, the playful Xu Fang had a serious expression on his face.
With brows drawn together, he folded both hands in front of his chest, slowly tapping away on his right toes and waited for an answer. "It better be good."
A soft sigh tore through Liu Xueyi's lips as he combed his fingers through his hair, his gaze directed at his friend with a weary expression.
"She is everything to me. And I will propose to her soon but right after she makes a great wave in the entertainment industry this year. I do not want anyone thinking her fame is as a result of me. She isn't riding on my cocktails."
Xu Fang chuckled at the last word. Oh yes she is, not the tails but the cock. He grinned just thinking about his own joke but dared not voice it out to Xueyi.
"Ahem!"
"You really want me to stop I see."
"Pardon me."
Paying him no heed, Liu Xueyi continued, "She has her strengths and talents."
"But even before she becomes a full blown star, Andromeda is getting such hateful posts and comments pertaining to that."
"Andromeda is brilliant and talented. I only want to see her reach her true potential in anything she does."
