Having gotten an agreement from Kai Group concerning an investment with them, business began to look good for the Sun family.
This coupled with the business deal with Yu Ann, he was sure pushing his family back on top would not take long.

Sun Yichen sat at the polished mahogany table in the upscale hotel's meeting room.
The business meeting was well underway and from the look of things, securing more investors in the company would soon be a feat he could achieve.
Just then the sound of heels clicking against the marble floor heading in their direction grew louder, interrupting their discussion.
As if on cue, everyone lifted their head to see who it was that had done this when their eyes landed on the lovely beauty that walked into the room flanked by two well-dressed men.
She looked just as elegant and confident as always, managing to steal attention from people in the room.
Despite the change in plans and distance that had separated them, she still held a powerful allure over him.
Sun Yichen lifted his brow, his lips tugged downward, watching the woman in question head over to the other room adjacent to theirs.
Similarly, the lady in question took a brief pause, glancing over at their table as she gave a charming smile and continued on her way.
With the hotel staff showing them to their table and room, they quickly got settled.
'Yu An.' Sun Yichen chorused in his mind.
Taking hold of her plans, Yu An took the seat that had a direct view of the other room's table where her gaze locked in on Sun Yichen.
Even though they had planned on leaving things strictly business, he could not deny the intrigue he found in her and she in him.
Both of them knew there was more than enough sexual chemistry going on between them, but she was proving stubborn and hard to get.
"Yes, we agree. Mr. Sun, what is your take on the proposal," one of the three men with Sun Yichen inquired.
To their surprise, Sun Yichen who was full of so much vigour just now seemed to hesitate and slowly bring his attention back to them. "Pardon?"
A chuckle broke their confusion. And when Sun Yichen traced the direction, he noticed the smirk on Yu An's face as she gave him a seductive smile and picked up her glass.
"She's a beauty."
Huh?
His attention was pulled back by the compliment of one of the men. "However," the man resumed. "Such beauties are dangerous. Please be focused, Mr. Sun."
Clearing his throat, he apologized to the men and immediately gave the meeting his time but his focus was slipping. His thoughts kept drifting to the woman he had never quite managed to forget.
Throughout the meeting, their eyes would frequently meet, although neither of them dared to hold each other's gaze for too long so as not to draw any unwanted attention.
It was as if a magnetic force had pulled their attention to one another, an undeniable connection that transcended the business matters at hand.
The meeting droned on, filled with financial jargon and corporate discussions while Sun Yichen and Yu An tried their best to focus on the matters at hand.
Still, their glances continued to meet, their silent conversation telling a story of longing. Although she may have hidden it, she could not deny the feelings that were kindled during their last fierce kiss.
How she longed to hold him and kiss him again while he pushed her body on the table and ate her out.
Her mind was filled with all kinds of thoughts and Yu An wondered if he felt the same way too. She got her answer soon when her phone screen lit up, alerting her to a message.
Picking it up stylishly, she glanced at the text.
Sun Yichen: Hi.
She closed her screen and placed the phone on the table.
Ping!
Yu An picked it up again and checked.
Sun Yichen: Stop biting down on your lips like that.
Yu An: Why?
Sun Yichen: Don't let me start craving for something that is out of reach.
Sun Yichen swallowed and placed his phone in his pocket. He knew judging from his last text, she would do something provocative.
Howbeit, he had no plans of making her have the last laugh.
Although she tried to get his attention, stylishly opening her legs a bit and closing them, biting on her lips and glancing at him, he did not budge and kept his focus on the meeting.
Finally, the meeting concluded, and the attendees began to disperse. Sun Yichen and Yu An remained seated, waiting patiently for the room to clear while feigning busy on their phones.
"Um, I'll be taking my leave now, Mr. Sun," the man who had complimented Yu An before, spoke.
"Sure. I am awaiting my driver. I sent him on an errand earlier."
"Oh, I see." His sweet a quick glance at Yu An and noticed she too was on he rphone. "I'll leave you two be to catch on. Just be careful."
With a wink, the older man picked up his bag and headed for the door.
When the last person finally left and the door swung shut, leaving the two of them alone in the big rooms, their emotions reached a breaking point.
They stood up simultaneously with Sun Yichen packing his things while Yu An cat-walked over to him.
"Hello."
"Hi."
He kept his focus on his bag and not her, which in turn angered her.
"Yichen."
"Hmm?"
Just as he picked up his bag, she held his wrist preventing him from leaving.
"You've ignored me long enough, don't you think?"
He narrowed his eyes at her and scoffed. "You're joking. Take a look in the mirror and see who ignored who."
"I'm here now." she shrugged and tightened her grip.
Breathing out sharply, he let go of his bag and turned to face her.
"Teasing me."
"Did I?" Yu An feigned ignorance and bit her lower lip.
"You're something else," he commented.
"Show me how?"
