Finally, when the evening came to an end, Andromeda and Liu Xueyi left the party and returned to his house.
The scenery outside was a flurry of lights and sounds, a stark contrast to the bubble of intimacy they found themselves in.
Their footsteps echoed quietly in the hallway as they made their way to the living room after having a change of clothes and taking their bath.

Liu Xueyi smiled, his eyes never leaving hers. "It was great, and it's just the beginning of the year. I have a feeling this one is going to be much better than last year."
"Me too. I have no doubt, my love. It feels like the phase in my life with so many challenges left with the previous year."
Liu Xueyi's smile grew. He intertwined their fingers and gently placed a chaste kiss on her lips. "This year would bring greater things. Stronger love and a bigger expansion in business."
She lifted her brows but did not question him. Sensing a question arising he shifted where he sat and smiled at her.
"I will be expanding with Dream Star Corporation, taking our fashion company to the international level, and having Liu Corporation go into tech. That's a joint business with Rong Bolin and Xu Fang."
Andromeda listened attentively, waiting to hear him out.
"And, my plans do not just end with me investing and building myself and my company. I have plans for you too."
"Me?"
She sounded taken aback by his confession. The honest truth she had attained most of her goals already, becoming the leading fashion designer in the country.
That alone was strong enough to compensate for her wasted years, especially with Wu Bai and Beatrice Zhang suffering for their sins.
"Yes you, Andy. I want the best for you."
"Hmm, okay but what do you have in mind?" She leaned forward, staring deeply into his eyes as though she could see the answers she sought.
"It's a secret love."
Her brows drew together but she did not say anything and just smiled. "I trust you, Xueyi. I have no complaints."
"Now that's my girl." He pinched her cheek a little, not enough to cause her pain. "Okay love, what would you love to snack on?"
"Umm, chocolates," Andromeda eagerly replied.
"Why? You've been craving sweet things. Is my baby having a sweet tooth now or are you…" Liu Xueyi's eyes widened when he realized what the possibility was.
"Wait, when was your last period?"
Andromeda giggled understanding where he was heading to. "I saw my period on the 15th remember?"
"Oh yes, yes, you did. Meaning you are not pregnant then what is causing this?"
"I do not know," Andromeda shrugged. She pressed a finger against his lips and smiled. "Why do I sense disappointment? You wanted me to get pregnant?"
"I… I know it is wrong and all but, having a child with you would have been one of my happiest moments in life."
"Hold that thought she giggled. We'll get there. I'm on the pills for now since someone refuses to use protection."
Liu Xueyi scoffed. "I prefer it raw, baby. Besides, I trust you and I can always um withdraw and cum outside," he stated cheekily.
She poked his nose and shook her head.
"You are naughty. Now I know your plan was to get me pregnant all along." Both of them chuckled and Andromeda continued. "Low key, I look forward to having a child with you too. However, I want it to be right."
"And it will be. Once I have achieved some things, I'm making us official. You'll be mine forever."
Andromeda's cheeks flushed a bright pink. He looked so hot speaking to her about their future like that. "Love you, honey."
"Love you most. Oh, I think I have figured out why you are having weird cravings."
"You have?"
"Yes." He pecked her lips, before turning her around so she was facing the television. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled the duvet over them. "Cozy?"
"Hmm mm."
"Good. I think you are stress-eating, baby. And it is understandable. Tomorrow we will resume our workout together. That way, I can ensure you stay in shape while eating to your heart's content."
Her blush deepened. She felt like a baby being looked after. "Okay. If you say so."
"Cool. Let's watch this animation together. Nimona or should we watch Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments."
"Umm, Nimona. It's just a movie. Besides, I wish to spend more time cuddling and kissing." Her smile grew, feeling shy having to admit her secret thoughts to him.
"Naughty shy baby. As you wish."
Their tie became deeper with each passing second, the unsaid connection between them weaving a tapestry of emotions.
