Following the event, Andromeda's name spread like a wide fire in the country. Her success was uncanny and it brought in several customers from several cities in the country. One of which was Li Jing and Yin Lifen.
The moment they heard of her wins, Li Jing wasted no time in calling to give her congratulations, as well as placing the first order for the four seasons against Ye Cheng's wish to have it as an exclusive for her only.
To her, she did not want to take that honour from Andromeda. Should the designer wish for such, then there was no problem.
Should she not, she was more than happy the joy got to go around.
To suit his desire, Ye Cheng still placed five exclusive orders for her, limited to only a single copy with Andromeda's insignia imprinted on it.
Now that the party was over and the first day gone, by evening Andromeda received a call from Gu Jun informing her that the DNA test she requested was ready.
No sooner had she been done with her call than Hong Chaoxiang sent her a message to her WeChat account informing her of the DNA results.
Her heart leapt for joy as she dashed from the room and head first for Liu Xueyi's study to inform him.
Without knocking, Andromeda pushed the door to his study open, interrupting whatever he was working on with his laptop.
"Xueyi!"
"Andy?" He looked up at her surprise filling his eyes. Keeping her lips sealed in a tight-lipped smile, she closed the gap between them, her fingers waving her phone at him.
"What's the matter, love?" he inquired.
"I got a call informing me the DNA results are out, Xueyi. And a text from Chaoxiang."
"Chaoxiang?"
"Yes. Sorry, but he was one of those I asked for a DNA test from."
"One of those? Wait, who were the others?"
Andromeda swallowed before revealing who the other party was, but before Liu Xueyi could react, she placed a kiss on his lips and wrapped her hands around his neck.
"Hmm." Rather than letting him breathe, Andromeda sat on his lap and kissed him again. "Andy… speak."
She flashed a charming smile at him, gently stroking his hair as her eyes evaded his gaze deliberately and centred on his forehead.
"Andy?" This time Liu Xuyei's voice came out deeper than before. A warning she knew he was not playing. But watching him narrow his eyes at her, the wrinkling of his brows, it all made her happier than before.
"I won't tell," Andromeda mused.
"Then you wish to play with fire right?"
"At least since it is your fire, I won't get burnt."
His brows drew together, particularly not liking her challenge. Taking the change of expression to mean war, Andromeda pressed her lips on his, eagerly sneaking her tongue in the first chance she got.
Before he could do anything to her, she acted first. That thought was what came tio mind and she left him stunned…until his hands began to move on their own, rubbing through her back down to her lower twin devils—her buttocks.
"Ah…" she yelped when he gave a gentle squeeze to the soft flesh in his hand and smirked into their kiss.
"Are you ready to tell me now or shall I tempt and tease you and then leave you hanging?"
Listening to his threat, she kicked against it. The last thing she needed was him playing that game tonight.
They both needed to be up early and get ready to fix it all. Quickly she cleared her throat and detangled her hands from around his neck.
"Umm…" Andromeda began and rubbed her hands on her thigh. "Well, I asked Gu Jun to link me to a trusted doctor and did the same with Chaoxiang," she explained briefly while studying his expression only to speak again the moment she saw him open his mouth. "Do not be mad."
Liu Xueyi did not know whether or not he should laugh or cry but seeing her behave like a baby about to be scolded, all negative energy surrounding him vanished.
Releasing a deep sigh, he shook his head and then slowly patted her back. "I'm not mad and I understand why you failed to tell me. It is all good."
"Really?" Andromeda's big blue eyes shone with joy at not being scolded.
"Really."
Once more she threw herself on his body before moving on with her discussion.
"Now, I would make a stop at Gu Jun's house before heading to work tomorrow."
"Hmm, no. I will drop you off first, we get the results and then we head to the hospital. The earlier the better."
"Okay. That sounds good to me. Anything you choose."
Immediately, Liu Xueyi's face lit up now that he was aware of what was going on. He felt relieved in a way. No one had the power to help her much except through him or have him informed. His fear of losing her ran so deep that his actions most times looked too protective.
"Now relax honey. I am not being stolen from you. You have me all to yourself once you are done working."
"Sure?"
'Absolutely."
"Great then. I'll be with you shortly."
With that, Andromeda rose to her feet but not before placing a soft kiss on her lips when she got to the door.
"Hey, honey?"
"Yes, love?" Liu Xueyi inquired, his sharp black eyes like a piercing Jade directed towards her felt like icicles on her skin.
"What would you like to eat? Snacks, dinner or what?"
"Do not stress yourself, place an order for food and snacks for us, okay?"
"As you wish, hon." Andromeda nodded and took her leave, letting him complete his work.
All the while Andromeda's smile neither dropped as she went about preparing for the night and placed orders for their small night celebration. More than anyone she could barely wait for the next day.
