CHAPTER 442 – A Call to Straighten Her Thoughts
Not wanting to bother Liu Xueyi with the mishap that happened in the event, Andromeda decided to handle it herself.
Getting Rong Bolin's number from Liu Xueyi was easy and immediately she informed him of what she knew.
Without hesitation, Rong Bolin agreed to her request.
"Tell me, have you told Liu Xueyi about this? Why didn't he call me and let you stress yourself this much?" Rong Bolin questioned.
He did not understand how Liu Xueyi would get an opportunity to be there for Andromeda and not utilize it but send her to do it herself.
While his thoughts were still scattered, he heard Andromeda's soft giggles, his confusion rising the more.
"I'm sorry. He doesn't know the details. I only said I needed your number to ask you about something," she confessed.
"Oh... is that so?"
"Yes. I should've informed him first. I am sorry." Perhaps you would prefer dealing with these things with a guy and not a female. I understand."
From her words and voice, Rong Bolin knew she was apologetic as if she had done something wrong and was being scolded.
Rong Bolin sighed softly before responding, "It is fine. You are my friend after all and not just my friend's gf, so don't worry too much about it."
"Thank you. I am sorry."
Rong Bolin huffed, shaking his head but Andromeda continued, "I just wanted to take care of things myself... It seemed easier than asking someone else..."
"Somebody else? He is your boyfriend, Andromeda. He isn't someone else. It is his duty to take care of you."
"I know. He has his hands full. I do not want to make things difficult for him with my trivial matters."
"This isn't trivial to me, Andromeda. It almost cost you a solid win for what you have always wanted. Do you think Liu Xueyi would be happy knowing he had a chance to help you and he couldn't?"
She could not answer his question, knowing fully well all Rong Bolin said was true.
"I thought as much. You love him and he loves you. Your success is as important to him as it is to you."
"But..."
"I know you may feel left out because of Zheng Ying." he took a pause, his ears paying attention to her breathing through the phone. "I thought as much. This is affecting you so much. You need to let him know."
"I can't."
"Why?"
"I do not want to be selfish."
"No. Asking you to act as though everything is normal is when it would be selfish. You love him, right?"
"So much, I can't begin to fathom a life without him."
"Good. He loves you just as much if not more. Xueyi cannot stand to lose you, Andromeda. Zheng Ying aside. I know you may wonder why he didn't love anyone since. It's because when he does, he loves hard, too hard that her actions hurt him so much."
"I know."
"Good. So, he wouldn't jeopardize his relationship with you. Just speak to him, share your feelings, he may be an airhead sometimes but with you, you come first."
"Didn't seem like it now that he has missed the contests all through now," she muttered her doubt to herself.
"What?! He hasn't gone once?"
"I'm not really complaining. It's just... today when my designs were ruined, I wanted to run into his arms for a comforting hug."
"And kiss..." Rong Bolin teased.
"Yeah."
"Hold up, are you crying?" Rong Bolin's concerned voice echoed out.
"No."
"You are a lousy liar, Andromeda. "Stop it. This is why you should let him know. He must make it to the finals, whether the earth needs to be moved or not. I know he will. It's your big day and I know he trusts you will win."
"Thanks. So much. It made me feel better."
"Good. Stop buttling things up, okay? Especially with Liu Xueyi. Sometimes he gets clueless and lost with you. He just wants to take all your worries away and make you smile."
"I want the same for him."
"Hahaha, you two are hopeless romantics," Rong Bolin teased.
"We're in love after all!" She laughed softly.
"On a lighter note, tell him or I will. Not on my watch would you too lose your love over a misunderstanding, okay? Besides, that jealous Xueyi would be on my neck."
"Hehhe, I suspected he would ask you later on. Okay, I'm going to meet him now. Ciao."

Taking a turn, her eyes locked on Liu Xueyi, his dazzling eyes settling on her face with an expression she had never seen before.
His lips curved into a gentle smile while he stared at Andromeda with such intensity that it made her feel like melting right there under those fierce gazes.
She felt herself being pulled towards him but was unable to move even though every part of her wanted to rush forward to touch him.
Her body trembled slightly as she stood still watching them both until finally, they broke eye contact to look away from each other. This time, his gaze settled on her phone.
"Bolin... got anything to say for yourself?"
"You see, Andy. It is situations like this that I need that photo for."
"Andy?" Liu Xueyi's brows furrowed instantly. "You know you are courting death, right Bolin?"
